sis ganyan ba talaga pag fedex, walang tax? tatakot tuloy ako sa ems. balak ko kasi mag order galing china.

I got lucky lang that time, sis. I was taxed na with my 2nd FedEx shipment. It broke my heart nga eh, buti na lang medyo tinaasan ko na [textspeak!] prices ng binebenta kong items that I import from China when I got taxed with my EMS shipment, so ang dating is hindi pa rin ako nalugi. (I won't be using FedEx and EMS na)

Sa second shipment ko with FedEx kasi, not lower than $40 [textspeak!] dineclare ng supplier ko, and hindi rin niya dineclare na gift, kaya ayun, na-tax tuloy ako. Kaya if I were you, always include those instructions everytime you have your orders shipped.

With DPEX and China Post Air Mail, never pa ko na-tax. Pero ayoko na sa China Post - mas mahal na ang handling, antagal pa ng transit period. I waited for 3 weeks for my package to arrive. With DPEX, one week lang, andito na, mura pa. Although may chance pa rin na ma-tax ka ng customs.

Pag may shipment ako, lagi lang ako nagpe-pray na hindi ako ma-tax. Hahaha. The waiting period is exciting, kasi nakakatuwa pag hindi ka nila siningil ng tax.

Advice is, dapat lagi kang may extra money para handa ka to pay the taxes pagdating ng package mo. And if ibebenta mo [textspeak!] imports mo, dapat include mo [textspeak!] tax charges sa ipapatong mong price ng item mo. 25% ang mark-up ko sa item for the customs tax, plus [textspeak!] tutubuin ko. So medyo may kamahalan [textspeak!] mga binebenta ko, pero okay lang, kesa naman malugi ako.

DHL, Fedex and some other couriers random checking ata ginawa sa kanila kaya minsan natatax ka minsan nman hindi. Kaya malaking tulong talaga ang prayers. haha~ Pero once natax ka na di na pwedi tawaran. EMS walang kawala, matatax ka talaga pero pwedi tumawad..

Sis ems is a mail service provided by our post office. Express sya, like fedex. Days lang, your package will arrive to its destination.

_AiaH_ - accurate ba yung tracking? Tsaka di naman nila nanakawin yung mga gamit? Dami ko na kasing naririnig na horror stories tungkol sa philpost, hahah

^accurate ang tracking. as for nakawan, never ko naman na experience but may nababasa ako. ang nakakainis lang, yung charge ng tax. ang laki na sobra.

My friend is sending me around 5-7 pcs of small cosmetics in an envelope mailer through EMS from Japan, is there a high chance that it will be held at the Pasay office?

Registered Air Mail - 7-14 days with tracking
Regular Air Mail - 7-14 days without tracking.

i tried sending stuff toys (weighing 5.5kilos total) going to japan.. i sent it via jamglobal express which i believe sa EMS din pinapadaan.. grabe i was charged 4500.. ganun ba talaga? is there any other courier na mas mura? ayoko ng philpost dami na kasi horror stories dun

^registered mail mo na lang sis. mas matagal but you can track it.

^May isesend kase akong gluta + iphone cases going to US. If ill use EMS na lang saan ba ako pupunta, sa post office din ba? Like the one in Pasay yung tapat ng Red Cross? Sorry first time ko din mag ship using EMS. TIA

May nakuha na ba kayong tracking number ending in "XPH"? This is what I usually get now and untrackable sya for several days. Tapos pag pwede na kailangan mo raw alisin yung"X". Weird lang.

May nagpapadala ba sa inyo sa PhilPost Main? Na-experience nyo rin ba makikilan nung babae sa EMS window. Grabe sya ang kapal. P40 per package hinihingi nya per package. Mabigat din pag madami yung package mo. Minsan talaga pipicturan ko sya para sumikat sya.

^^ Sis, if I may, punta ka lang sa kahit anong post office na malapit sayo. Ang advantage lang kasi ng Main Post eh may pouch sila for small items whereas sa local posts carton boxes lang binibigay nila na syempre mas mabigat. (May bayad din yung boxes, 30-40php yata.)  Weight sensitive kasi: to the US cheapest is 888php for .25kg or less; tapos susunod na is 11++php for .5 or less yata.

Minsan pag nagmamadali yung package FedEx ginagamit ko. 15++ php for .5kg naman sila, 3-5days transit time.

Since nakabalikbayan box siya, that means wala na din tax di ba? Kaya lang 5 boxes minimum daw, masyado na ata madami yun. Planning on reselling some items kasi.
