It's me again. Naging tolerable yung pain ko for the past 2 months pero eto ulet. Feeling ko namamaga na naman yung right jaw ko. Lumilipat yung sakin nya sa left minsan. Whenever I turn my head, may nagki-click. Magkano po ba talaga ang treatment? To be blunt and honest, hindi ko alam kung kakayanin ko financially. Anong option meron? Nalulungkot ako na naiiyak kasi I want to relieve the pain pero wala akong gamot. Ganito pala ang feeling na parang may chronic disease ka and wala kang pera pangpagamot. I just take alaxan or mefenamic to relieve the pain kahit papano. Parang one inch nalang ang kayang iopen ng mouth ko, dati naman bigger.
Clicking (meaning a sudden popping sound), without any other associated symptoms, does not necessarily signify something is wrong with the temporomandibular joint.Clicking of the temporamandibular joint tends to come and go. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it not.TMJ therapy will not always eliminate the clicking sound.Clicking is different from Crepitus.Clicking refers to a "sudden pop" sound you hear whenever you open or close your mouth. You hear just 1 sound that comes then immediately disappears.Crepitus refers to several, successive grating sounds. Imagine two pieces of soundpaper rubbing against each other. Crepitus, unlike clicking, most likely warrants examination. If limitation of jaw movement ( meaning difficulty in opening, closing or side/lateral movements) and moderately tolerable to intolerable pain with or without clicking is noticed, a temporomandibular problem may be present.
