I went to the dentist kanina to have my teeth cleened and she noticed my jaws were clicking when I open/close my mouth. She I have TMJ and advised me to have it checked kasi it can cause jaw lock. I asked kung gumagaling iyon, she said yes. So I'm optimistic. hehe. I'm planning on going to the specialist she recommended tomorrow.

Meron ba sa inyo mga sis na may ganito? Gumaling? How?

I have a tmj also and I tried their splint plus some electronic gadget which my dentist puts on my jaw. But after my wisdom tooth removal became so lazy to use my splint.so other options is brace..its not funny because when I eat sometimes I feel ngalay on my jaw

the electric thing you we're telling it's called Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation or TENS MACHINE.

--- actually, not all patient gumagaling ang signs and symptoms ng TMJ, especially if old na ang patient, all i have to do, is relived them from pain.
the clicking, diminishing of hearin g or buzzing sounds of the ear, if sirang sira na ang disc ng TMJ dahil pinatagal ang treatment,  matagalang treatment na.

kaya dapat, habang young pa or nasa early stage of tmj dysfunction, hanap na kayo na dentist near you with this kind of specialiation too.

yes, it is possible. and there are many factors to consider. like habits ng patient is a big factor in the treatment.

dr. maloy is good. same kami kung saan nag aral ng TMJ.

sis you're a TMJ specialist pala...im not sure kasi if ML Santos clinic offers deferred payment for TMJ treatment pero kasi it's near pur place kasi i am from south, lapit sa moa....do you offer one? hehe

^ i dont want to give false hope sis. ang tanong grabe na ba ka worst your tmj dysfunction? but, so far sa mga patients ko, gumagaling naman EXCEPT  dun sa 48 yrs old na nawala almost 90%  ng symptoms nya except for the diminishing hearing and buzzing sound kasi kapag medyo old na, IRREVERSIBLE na ang sa hearing talaga.

im sure dr. malony offers deferred payment, since medyo expensive ang treatment. yes i offer deferred payment too.

sa kanya ako nag aral ng TMJ and she is the pioneer of TMJ here in the Philippines, I used to be Dra Fandialan assistant before i opened up my own clinic. she is Very good!

nang nabasa ko itong thread nagclick jaw ako 

ano masama pag nag ki-click yung jaws? kase mejo matagal na din ito eh ano po ang cause niya? ano mangyayari sa mga taong may ganito pag tanda namin?

napansin ko nag umpisa ito noong nagpalagay ako ng braces eh siguro sa tagal ng naka nganga bibig ko nangalay yung panga ko nadislocate or something

^sakin din di naman masakit, may click sound lang, and nangangalay pag tagal na kumakain or nguya,. ignore ko lang kasi hindi naman hassle sakin.. this thread made me worried now,.
