went to morocco last april. grabe!!!!! dito yung location ng Prince of Persia and sex and the city. ANG GANDA! guys, highly recommended. easiest way to Morocco siguro via dubai. (kami kasi nagstop over pa for 2 days sa sri lanka). the desert, camels, the riads, the old city... can't get over my experience!

This is one of the places in my bucket list. Would love to go to the following cities: Marrakech for their souk, Fes for its medinas, Casablanca and Tangiers.

Ang ganda nga ng Morocco. Went there last year. Stayed at Marrakech at the apartment of a friend. Went over the Atlas mountains (6 hours of twists and turns each way! i puked both ways. ) and stayed overnight at the West Sahara desert. Stayed in a Bedouin tent. Ang gwapo lang ng mga Bedouins kahit amoy camel.   My Moroccan experience was certainly one for the books. I miss the place especially the food.

the international airport is in casablanca. if you want to go to marrakech, you either take a 3 hr train ride or transfer to a local airline. royal air maroc yung local airline nila. i used emirates to go there. sg-dubai-casablanca.

ang hirap lang sa morocco, non-english speaking. its either french or arabic. kung di ko kasama yung former classmate ko na french, i don't know if i would have enjoyed morocco so much. its not exactly the safest or most convenient country in the world.

My former boss in UK ( he's Moroccan) built a hostel in Marrakech. And so now he tells me may
free place na daw for me and friends to stay if we come. Aysus! So target ko 2012
travel ito. Mahal lang kasi ang ticket from Asia haay. 1.8k yung nakita ko na lowest eh
~ kelangan pang pagipunan ulit!

^ sis, yung ticket ko for morocco, nasa SG$800++ lang. via emirates. i traveled around april. spring and very nice ang weather kasi cool pa. they say that morocco can get really hot in the summer.
if you can get piso or cheap fares for singapore, pwede dito kayo sumakay for morocco.

so nice to hear na nagandahan kayo sa morocco. hindi ko siya binibid kasi puro bad experience friends ko. pero kasi sa casa lang naman layover namen dun. siguro [textspeak!] ibang place maganda nga.

sale tix ng Emirates tapos abangan ko rin ang piso fare ng cebu pac! (though dapat
makakuha rin ako ng ticket from Korea to Pinas haha ang OA kasi ng tickets pag
dito manggaling parang 2.4k USD ano ba yun!) Yung 1.8k yan yung nicheck namin nung

Question pala, sapat na ba ang 5 days na Morrocco? in-exclude ko na yung
travel time (1 day each I suppose). :-)

Hi sis. I checked again my eticket. SG$723 lang pala ang binayad ko.
travel time was sg-dubai 7 hrs, dubai-casablanca 8 hrs

i think sis kaya yung 5 actual days in morocco and 2 days for traveling.
marami ka pwedeng makita and gawin sa morocco so depende na lang
sayo, ano ang ipagkasya mo sa 5 days.

ang pinaka highlight sa trip ko there was the 6 hr (each way) drive from Marrakesh
across the Atlas mountains to get to the west sahara desert. paliko-liko talaga
ang daan and i puked each way. 

nag camel safari kami and we slept in a tent in the desert.

^Haha! Natakot ako sa barfing part!  Yep yun din sinasuggest ng boss ko (yung titirhan
namin sa Morocco), mag punta sa Atlas Mountains and magstay kahit one night sa desert .
Exciting!

Pero gusto ko talaga yung mga markets kaya sa souks siguro mageenjoy ako haha~

^ hay naku sis, ang daming mangloloko sa souks nila. lalo na sa Djemma el-Fna. i actually paid SG$40 for a lousy souvenir tshirt. siguro kasalanan ko rin yun kasi di talaga ako marunong magbargain. kahit sa temple st sa HK naloko din ako. sigh.

Gusto ko din pumunta dito - either this or Turkey. Nagtitingin pa ako online kung anong mga pambata na activities dito.

Went to Morocco last November.  Stayed for 10 days and went to Fes, Casablanca and Tangiers.  Pinakamaganda ang Fes.  Also do a daytrip to Volubilis, ang ganda ng Roman Ruins dun!  Parang Colosseum lang ng Rome, tapos wala pa masyadong tao.  I blogged about Volubilis and the Medina at Fes, just check sa blog ko if you want to see pics.

Ibang experience sa Morocco, nung una enjoy sobra!  pero dahil siguro 10 days ako dun, nung naglaon naghahanap na ako ng fastfood haha nanawa na sa pagkaing puro may cumin.  Kahit Moslem country sya very open sila, though some di marunong mag-english ha, better magbaon ng ilang phrases ng French kasi lahat sila nagfrefrench (colony sila dati).

Yung Casablanca, ang pinagsisihan kong puntahan, oh well dun lang kasi may starbucks shop so ayun lang, pero ang polluted at ang dumi nyang city gravehan.  Feeling namin nasa Quiapo kami dun sa maduming part haha.  Maganda lang yung part na malapit sa dagat.  But yung city proper kakabigla sa pollution daig pa ang Manila.

Yung Tangiers parang sya yung pinaka-homey for me, siguro dahil nage-espanyol na mga tao doon eh, since tapat lang sya ng Espanya,  so medyo di na ako feeling turista masyado.
