^ ferning and opks only predict ovulation, it indicates when you're fertile and when your body is gearing up for ovulation. your body can gear up for ovulation but don't actually ovulate. you can only confirm if you indeed ovulate by taking your temps.

this is not to get your hopes down ha. just a little info to be better prepared.

hi everyone..me and my hubby just married last december 2014, we've been for almost 10years of being bf/gf. he's a seafarer! we're both 28 but planning to have a baby as soon as possible. I went to an OB-GYNE last March, i have retroverted uterus, uterine myomata, about 1.8cm, she prescribed me ovamit (took only for 3months, April-June), vitamins c and e but until now we're still TTC and my hubby just leave last June 22.

I just changed my OB last Saturday and she advised me to but Ovatel for monitoring while my hubby is away. Hopefully, when he arrive back home we can conceive na!Baby dust to all...

hello mga sis! what's in your ttc kit? and where did you buy the items in your kit? nag-try ako dati mag OPK pero mahal. gusto ko din sana gumamit ng basal thermometer but don't know where to buy. currently, multivitamins (with folic acid) at isang app ang ginagamit ko.

For one year, ang TTC kit ko lang is an app. Plus Metformin for my PCOS. Nothing happened. Apparently, I do not ovulate on my own.

We decided to seek professional help after a year of Not Trying Not Preventing (NTNP). Here's my regular fertility workup routine:
Day 3-7 - Clomiphene Citrate (Brand is Clostil)
Day 12 - follicle monitoring. Depending on the size of the mature follicles, we will time when will I have the trigger shot.
*For Cycle 1, we tried natural ovulation. So no trigger shot. I tested positive in OPK at CD 17-18. One follicle in each ovary.
*For Cycle 2, tested positive in OPK at CD 16-17, but still had my trigger shot at CD 17. Had one follicle in right ovary and 2 in left. 10 clicks only of HCG since baka daw magburst lahat ng follicles.
*For Cycle 3 (current month), at Day 12, medyo malaki na yung follicle so I had my shot right there and then. I also had my HSG this cycle, thank God, patent both tubes. Hubby had SA, and we found out that he has low count. Pero okay naman ang motility. He was given supplements.

I agree na mahal ang OPK, mas mura pa nga ang HPT. hehe! Pero okay lang, basta maensure ang tamang timing. Sabi nga ni OB, it's all about the timing.

May nabili ako sa ebay.ph before. 60 pcs opk strips at 30pcs hpt. Napakamura nasa 450 lang then pipick upin lang sa post office kasi sa hk pa ata nanggaling yun. Medyo matagal din before dumating siguro mga 2-3 weeks.

No problem sis hindi rin kami naka buo sa pag gamit ng opk kasi low sperm count si hubby.

ay ganon. ako naman kasi feeling ko di ako nag oovulate though not yet confirmed pa naman kung hindi nga. si hubby ko SA nya 2 years ago mataas naman ang count nasa 8M pero yung motility 25% normal and 75%abnormal magpapa SA pa lang sya ulit kung same result pa din. itatry ko yung OPK kung madedetect nya na nag oovulate ako

^Hi HMisabelle! I tried temping last month and ang galing, may pattern talaga sya. Nagulat ako kasi nagdrop bigla temp ko then nagshoot up next day so nagtry kami magBD ni hubby (weren't TTC then actually, pero not preventing din). Ayun after 10 days I got a +HPT na, took it 5x para sure! Pero sadly after 10 more days I started bleeding heavy na with big clots - turned out to be a chemical pregnancy because of my endo Kaya because of that experience actively TTC na kami this month and just started using OPK with temping para mas sure na sa timing. Okay sya, the day my temp dropped, I got a +OPK din

Unfortunately wala akong nahanap na basal thermometer dito pinas, puro amazon lang kaso mahal naman ng shipping  So I use the normal digital thermometer na lang pero switch it to fahrenheit mode instead of celsius. I came across an article kasi before, sabi it's fine to use a that for bbt basta fahrenheit kasi it's more precise daw.

I'm not sure pero I think dito ko nabasa before, one GTer uses the old school thermometer (yung may red sa loob) for her bbt
