OPK - measures LH surge. Kapag nagpositive ka sa OPK, it does not mean na nag-ovulate ka na. It only tells that you have a surge sa LH mo, and an ovulation is likely to happen.

Temping (BBT) - measures Basal Body Temperature. If nagchachart ka, after your normal body temp and you saw a rise in temperature, it means that ovulated. The day before your BBT rises is your ovulation day.

To illustrate, let me tell you my last cycle:

CD 10 - 36.7 degrees
CD 11 - 36.6 degrees
CD 12 - 36.4 degrees (follicle monitoring plus HCG shot, no ovulation yet)
CD 13 - 36.4 degrees (OPK: positive)
CD 14 - 37.1 degrees (OPK: positive)
CD 14 - 37.1 degrees (OPK: negative)

Hence, I believe nag-ovulate ako at CD 13.

Yung ovulation day dun ba dapat magBD?

Yung BBT thermometer eh anal db? Nagtanong kasi ako sa watsons, wala daw sila. Tapos nung nalaman ko na anal, nagdalawang-isip ako hehe. Dun lang ako sa ordinary digital thermometer.

@sis yannuh: sis, ang sabi samin ni OB, mas okay magBD before ovulation day, kasi nakaabang na dun spermies ni hubby. May travel time pa ata na 6 hours to the tubes, kaya if you BD on the day mismo, more chances na ma-miss mo, since you do not know the exact day/time you ovulated. Anyways, tumatagal naman daw si egg ng up to 24-48hours so malaki naman window.

Hi. Ako i am using the ordinary digital thermometer. Its evident pa din naman na may increase in temperature, so I guess.. It is really accurate din.

Plus I have OPK, and Ovatel. (OA ano?)

And pinaka effective sa tingin ko, is symptoms based talaga.

Hi sis.. In Celsius, yung Kindara app ko naman pwede naman syang naka Celsius kaya same lang naman..

And in fairness, 1st cycle ko of charting, talagang may pattern sya. Amazing

^Same tayo sis MedChic, I use Kindara app din Kakatuwa no may pattern talaga sya, mas exciting kasi imonitor ang O day pag nakikita mo sa chart and nacocompare sa previous cycles hehe.

This morning, i had my temp taken. It has a huge drop, wish ko bukas may spike para mukhang triphasic. Pero very unreliable daw. Baka naman here comes AF na ako. Huhubels. Sana hindi.

My experience kasi wala masyado movement (spikes) sa chart ko when using ordinary thermometer. Di pa rin ako nakakabili ng bbt (wag nyo ko ubusan pls haha) so ngayon F muna gamit ko as sis suggested. Kinda makes sense nga. Sabi naman sa Kindara community (I use this app also) Di raw accurate, kailangan bbt talaga :/

Order na ako, pag BFP naman ako in few days, at dumating na sakin ang item, ibenta ko na lang sa inyo.. If kailangan din ninyo. Sana hindi na natin kailanganin. Hahaha.

Tagal nga bumili abroad mga sis tapos pipick upin pa sa post office tapos bubuksan sa harap mo at sisingilin ng tax. Bumili din ako noon ng 60pcs opks at may free na 30pcs hpts. Ang mura pero halos 1 month din before dumating.
