^hi mama squeak, yun nga sayang kasi kapag di pa namin tinuloy. what i did is binook ko ng maaga yung hotel and bullet train. I read on the net na doable naman basta laging maaga magpunta sa mga tourist sites. But still medyo kabado pa din kami kung kaya namin yung crowds.

Yup! I guess make the most out of it. Is this your first time there? If you plan to go to the Great Wall, go to the Mutianyu section. It's a bit farther but at least it won't be as crowded as the Badaling section.

^ yes mama squeak, it will be our first time.Yes, we are planning to go to the mutianyu section ng great wall. Naghahanap palang ako ng private car going to great wall, pero the rest ng tourist site plan namin DIY nalang. Parang hirap din kasi mag join sa mga tour group parang laging may hinahabol na oras.

^Yup madali lang naman mag-DIY. Kami ni hubby we asked help from our hotel's concierge to kontrata a taxi driver to take us to Mutianyu. We left the hotel around 10AM and came back to the hotel around 2-3PM. If you need ideas how to DIY I have an entry in my blog how we DIYed our Beijing trip. HI mga sis pls help..
what if already get a promo tickets this month and then our travel dates is march 2015 pa.

my question is pag mag get ako visa by january 2015 pa hindi ba ako matatanung sa chinese embassy bakit january pako kukuha ng visa sa kanila?..
* my reason is because we are already sked for US tour on dec to jan. worry ako baka mawala pa yun passport or baka may incident na mawala pa passport ko kaya as much as possible naka safe keep na yun passport ko sakin.

and mga sis panget kasi yun sked ng dating na nakuha kona tocket ang dating namin sa beijing is 12:05am of March 27 na...pano sa accomodation yun pag ganun san sila nagcocount ng DAY 1?...
eto kasi date march 26 departure manila 19:35- 12:05am nasa beijing na kami ng march 27.....then return is 1:00 beijing- 5:30pm Manila

^I don't think it will be an issue. Tama lang naman yung time frame ng pag-apply nyo ng visa in January2015 since March2015 ang travel dates nyo. Mabilis din naman mag-apply ng Chinese visa. I'm leaving next month and I applied for my visa last 22Sep/Mon pagka-Friday 26Sep nakuha ko na passport ko.

As to your hotel, maski dumating kayo ng 1AM ng 27Mar counted sya as check-in for 26Mar or Day 1/1st Night. So succeeding days nyo 27-28Mar (Day 2/2nd Night), 28-29Mar (Day 3/3rd Night), so on and so forth.

^I downloaded the VPN Express app for my iPad. They have 30 days free 300mb data. I'll be using it when I get to Beijing so I hope it will work. Since mauuna ka sa akin please update what vpn you used especially now pati Instagram blocked na rin sa China because of what is happening in HKG.

^thanks mama squeak, problem ng strongvpn is for ios8 lang sya. di ko pa kasi na update yung ios ko. magpost ako on thursday ig nag work yung mga vpn na download ko. mama squeak, do you think 2700 rmb is enough for 5 days? paid na ang hotel at bullet trains. so for food and taxi and subway nalang siya. thanks in advance

^Oo nga hanggang 300mb lang yung free nya. I installed na rin yung suggestion mo na vpnoneclick para pag naubos na yung isa ito naman gamitin ko. I'll be in Beijing for two weeks kaya I need more access.

How's the weather there so far? I've been monitoring the weather and meron days na maulan.

^mama squeak. hay, naka 2 beses kami pumunta great wall. yesterday umulan, super foggy wala kami makita so we decided na ulitin ngayon. dami tuloy nawala sa itinerary namin. regarding weather, sa umaga super lamig then sa afternoon laki ng difference ng temperature. national holiday ngayon kaya medyo madami tao, pero nakaya namin. I was expecting na di na kami makakapunta sa mga tourist place kasi nga holiday, pero di naman. I find the chinese people nice contrary sa mga nababasa ko. We really enjoyed beijing and nalulungkot na ako kasi pabalik na ako SG bukas.
