Sis Tammy 1979 yes nakasulat "to be informed" sa pink slip. It's been a week kaya Baka punta has na Lang namin. Sabi kase tatawagan kami but we haven't heard from them. Sana naman approved pa din!

^^ Goodluck sis jiffy, sana ma approve kayo. I agree that Beijing is a very beautiful place. I promised myself I would go back there next year, sana mag promo uli ang mga airlines hehe. This time, gusto ko i tyr ang Great wall sa Badaling area naman then pupunta ako sa Temple of Heaven at Ming Tombs, di na kasi namin kinaya nung nagpunta kami dahil sa pagod at sa dami ng tao.

pa OT lang mga sis. mag aapply kasi ako visa tomorrow for me and my mom. yung mom ko nasa Bacolod so she had her docs sent thru LBC dito sakin sa Makati including her application form. Kaso, she signed the application form and nilagyan niya ng date na 10/22 which is kanina. But since kaninang hapon ko lang na receive ang invitation letter from China, hindi pa ko nakapag apply. Ok lang kaya na date sa form is 22 but bukas pa ko mag apply? And kelangan ko pa authorization letter from my mom na i can apply on her behalf? Medyo gahol na kasi sa oras kasi sa Nov. 1 flight namin and hassle kung magpapaLBC pa siya ulit kasi at least 1 day bago dumating dito sakin.

How's shopping in Beijing? We'll be going to about  4-5 cities in 14 days. Dont know how many winter jackets I should bring, maybe 2 then Ill buy there nalang?  i need a heavy duty parka for neg 30 Harbin weather. Dont know if i will purchase here or in Beijing nalang before heading to Harbin. Suggestions please. How much ba local prices for really nice jackets there?

been to Beijing and stayed at Capital Hotel for 5 days. We booked the E-Club floor with lots of privileges like free breakfast, access to business club lounge, free wifi in room, free mini bar etc. and this hotel is walking distance sa tourist spots like Tiananmen, Forbidden City, People's Park, Museum, shopping etc. and to make it easier for us, we also booked the hassle free tour to the Greatwall, Birds nest, jade factory, ponkan/apple farm and our tour guide chose the best entry gate sa Greatwall na hindi crowded ng tourist (i booked the tour sa ChinaTravel) they will pick u sa hotel then ihahatid din after.
 Shopping is great  too, went to 3 different shopping areas. my advice is beware sa mga electonic products, u might ended lugi sa binili mo kase daming fake, na sasabihin ng seller na original. Enjoy your trips sisters!

^I requested for an express visa processing on my second visa application but they didn't ask for my ticket naman just the booking certificate.

it's my 2nd time too. i want the express processing but i dont have ticket yet so got the 2days processing. i applied for multiple entry, 2 entries lang ang granted.

it's cold there na & raining almost everyday. girls, bring jacket & umbrella.

Yes sis, I used my CC for shopping sa malls/stores. I only used cash sa small shops/store

thanks sis divamom. we are all set. booked our hotel sa holiday inn minzuyuan para malapit sa metro station and cheap na din with daily brekky. booked na rin kay joe for our trip to mutianyu and the ski place

^Sis jiffy, I booked our tour thru Asiatravel. Actually, super happy kami with the tour coz I thought baka mapamahal and we would always DIY kasi, but the price we got is reasonable for the whole tour. Included in the package are Mutianyu great wall, Ming tombs, Jade Factory, and Silk Art Museum, hotel transfers plus lunch also. Others would say na sayang ang time sa Jade Factory and Silk Art Museum, but we enjoyed and learned a lot from these two. If I remember it right, I paid around P1,700/pax lang for this tour. Also, we were lucky enough coz we were only 3 groups, 7 people lang kami sa coach plus the guide.

submitted our docs this morning for hubby, me & 2kids. hubby, employed with many chinese visa (business) issued na before.; me, a housewife & the kids are 1st time applicants. included only the letter of invitation from cits which we paid at $45 with the courier fee (this we requested through our local travel agent here where we booked our tour package) aside from our application forms, passports, photocopy of front & back of passport, photocopy of hubby's chinese visas issued before, certificate of enrollment for the kids & photocopy of their school id... we were given the pink slip & was scheduled for the visa pick up this friday. hope it's okay na

Just got back from Beijing, super lamig nag snow sa downtown. We stayed at Marco Polo in Chaoyang district it's near bird's nest. We got a package tour from Panda Tours almost 32k each all in na sya for 4d3n sulit na sulit na sya. Ang hirap nga lang sumama sa tour kasi palagi nag mamadali yung tour guide akala mo nasa amazing race ka LOL wala din ako masyado nabili kasi ang mamahal tas dun sa Sanlintun para lang syang greenhills pero pas mahal pa ang items tas ang tatapang pa ng mga tindera pag natawad ka. But all in all going to Beijing was a great experience for our family.

Contemplating on where to buy wither clothes kung sa Beijing or dito nalang. Like scarves, over sized beanies and gloves.
