sis clueless sa us ka ba nag purchase? ano ba mga things na sulit ipabili sa states?

^ yup, sa US pero puro online purchases, mostly from amazon but i also got some items from zappos, oldnavy and fuzzibunz.

for me ang mga sulit bilhin don kung may maguuwi dito sa pilipinas ay playard, stroller, car seat. pero kung ipapa-ship mo din, konti na lang ang difference from the prices here kasi matatalo ka sa shipping so might as well, dito ka na lang bumili.

yung mga binili ko puro "small" items lang like feeding bottles, breast pump, diaper bag, breastfeeding pillow, some toys, clothes, shoes. some of these kasi significantly cheaper sa US compared to here kaya mas sulit pag doon. some naman are not available here so walang choice but to get from there.

sample na lang is the avent isis iq duo na bpa-free. this sells for 39k here, i only got it for $182. laki ng difference sa price diba? dyan pa lang sulit na yung $100 total na shipping charge ko from US to manila.

for me, ang key lang talaga is you have to know how much the items cost here. compare mo even the prices at SM and rustans kasi sa 2 pa lang na yan may price difference na. then look for the item online to see how much it costs. sa amazon, minsan i monitor the items pa kasi minsan nagf-fluctuate din ang price. like yang breast pump na yan naglaro from $182 to $230 or thereabouts.

sis clueless, sorry pero question lang.. if ever i avail of pobox.ph's services, just want to verify kung 45 days nila ihohold yung gamit sa warehouse nila before they'll ship it to you? tama ba? kasi may nakita ako na nakaindicate na 45 days there but i'm not sure if that's the time they give you or yung pagpadala nila ng balikbayan box...

I recently invested in a lot (well mga 7 pieces in all) of nursing wear which I can wear while pregnant... highly recommended yung shopeden.multiply.com (love the fabrics and designs) and fabnaima.multiply.com (who carries a lot of products)

dun sa fabnaima... they have mamaway and mama au lait na clothes nga na pwedeng pang-buntis and pang-breastfeed din... tas fabnaima also sells the singapore brand mothers en vogue (ang mahal nga lang galore, Eden na lang, haha)

kaya i didn't reget any of the purchases i've made kasi I expect to use them for a really long time...

yung mothers en vogue, mahal talaga kahit dito, ang sizing of the maternity clothes here are HUGE. d ko alam kung bakit e ang papayat naman ng mga tao dito might order something from eden nalang siguro. medyo nagkakatiyan na ako, hay. i'm on my 5th month already narin and pinagbigyan narin naman ako ng baby ko for a while hehe

Chic_clothes, kung gusto mo playard, ang shipping nyan nasa $100-$120. Odd-sized box kasi sya, hindi kasya sa biggest standard box ng pobox so ish-ship nya yan as is.

I got the diaper bag from amazon, skip hop duo. Mas mura don compared dito eh.

Yung toys nama, i got melissa & doug soft toys. Puro wooden toys kasi meron dito, wala pa akong nakitang soft toys.

Grayce, yung 45 days na sinasabi is pwde nila iconsolidate into 1 box the purchases you make within 45 days. Meaning lahat ng ma-receive nila sa warehouse nila from day 1-45, papagsamahin nila para masulit mo yung big box. Ganyan ginawa ko. May ibang forwarders kasi who will not consolidate your purchases. They will send packages as they receive them so possibly mapamahal ka pa.

Kahit wala pang 45 days basta na-receive na nila lahat, pwde mo na ipa-pack and send yung box mo. Gets ba? Di ko alam kung na-explain ko ng mabuti.

Hi mommies! try to visit shopfamilia at multiply, ganda ng mga items nila.  I've also visited their store in Makati and ang dami ko nabiling cute items.  Highly recommended lmga items lalo kung girl yung baby nyo.  Sad lang kase boy yung sa kin.

sis clueless yung ibang gamit kc ng cousin ng hubby ko ibibigay nya na Lang sa kin like yung papasan swing and tumingin daw ako ng iba pang items na gusto ko ipabili then ipapa ship na lang nya dito from the states..gusto ko nga din magpabili ng bath tub and playmat kaya Lang Baka di na kumasya sa box..$70 dollars ko Lang din babayaran [textspeak!] shipment..

rl some clothes are on sale na my cousin bought me 3 pcs shirts for just P300 each..

Grayce, per my experience with old navy for women, medyo maliliit ang sizing. some say yung pang baby maliliit din ang sizing but you can check the reviews for the item you're interested in kasi normally they say if the fit is true to size or not.

i order some stuff din from oldnavy but i did it over the phone so they would accept my philippine-issued credit card and ship to a US address. sale din when i bought the stuff. di pa dumadating though and i haven't given birth so i really can't give first-hand comments on sizing. pero most of the stuff i ordered are 3-6 and 6-9 months.

chic_clothes, san yang sale na yan sis? i got a few pieces of RL dresses for my baby from choochoobaby.multiply. also got a few pairs of Rl shoes from zappos.com but none of them were on sale.

^sakin naman malaki sizing ng old navy womens. gap lang kasi ang meron dito and sakto lang naman ang sizing nila, but yes some nga mukhang maliit for 3-6mos or 6-12mos from what i noticed.
