I'm planning to take ielts. Sisses, san kaya ok na review center? cambridge or niners?

I took IELTS 2 years ago. Didn't have time to review.mababa ako sa speaking kasi kinabahan ako hahaha but overall ok naman pero mas maganda talaga kung nakareview at nakapag-practice. mas mahirap ba TOEFL sa IELTS?

take the one in british council and then just read and do the test review na free.
familiarization i think yung important..
as long as you can speak and understand english walang prob sa speaking... para save din sa pera

Hello May naka experience napo ba mag TOEFL?

Mostly IELTS experience andito.

Nakapag-TOEFL iBT ako sis but it was a couple of years ago pa.

if wala kayong budget mga sis, maraming review materials online. i suggest read ielts-simon's site. parang. marami siyang tips na tinuturo rin sa review center like niner. sa speaking may right format lang sa pagsagot, then if you can speak english naman kahit basic lang then you're good to go.

kung plan application sa immigration sa Canada, san mas okay kumuha? IDP or British Council, mas pamilyar kase ako sa IDP gawa nung sa sister ko for New Zealand, ako nag submit ng form nya

Naka-schedule na ako for speaking test sa Aug. 1 then the rest sa Aug. 3 at hindi pa ako nag-rereview. Academic kukunin ko this time. Anong difference sa General Training mga sis? tia

Just to share my experience. I've taken IELTS under the British council 3 years ago. The score I got for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking was 8.5, 8, 8, and 6.5 respectively... I needed a score of 7 or higher on all topics... so I took it again under the Australia IDP and I god 8, 8, 6, and 7.5 ... so it just means that I need to take it again. Hopefully, I'll have time to take it this October.

Familiarize yourselves with the British accent... read books, watch movies

^^IMHO madali lang mag IELTS sa Korea. Doon ako nag IELTS eh ( Got a 9, 8, 8, I think ang kelangan mo lang sa IELTS na practice-in is yung pacing lang. Nakakatawa nga dun sa IELTS testing center sa Korea kasi yung mga Korean na nagbibigay ng tests kakausapin ka in Korean, then yung mga Koreans na nageexam eh superduper nakaheadphone pa talaga sa pagrereview sa actual exam. cramming ang peg! Yung interview lang medyo ang kelangan mageffort at magbuild ng confidence kasi native speakers ang nagiinterview (I think from the accent, Australian yung naginterview sa akin noon).  Goodluck sa husband mo!

Took my IELTS in Tagaytay last Sept 7 under British Council. Nahirapan ako sa Reading. Wasn't able to manage my time wisely. I need 7 OBS and individual grade not lower than 6.5. Around how many mistakes am I allowed to get a grade of 6.5-7. Any idea? :-) Thanks!

took my toefl last year around november

madali lang reading and writing
you need to concentrate sa listening (take good notes)
sa speaking-- you have to know how to answer the question- i highly recommend notefull na website. it helped me get a 28 sa speaking

hi mga sis..Im planning to take IELTS din, pero suggestion ng cousin ko na attend daw muna ko ng orientation ng IDP para malaman kung eligible ba ako mag apply ng student visa.. kinakabahan na ako ngayon pala! haha

i registered na kanina for the december 14 IELTS exam... sa British Council ako nagregister. and  unfortunately, i lost my ipad inside the bldg! sana hindi yun sign ng bad luck  i better start practicing now coz i really want to ace that exam

^thanks sis. i went back to british council office and i found out that test takers can photocopy 10% of each book in their IRC for free! kaya photocopy ako ng photocopy since hindi  ako makakabalik sa office nila on a regular basis to maximize sana the complimentary use of their IRC (library)  im not staying in manila right now so hassle pa to go there. buti na lang free mag photocopy
