what's the first dish you ever cooked?

i was 16 i think when i made my very first dish, Mac and Cheese. It was a complete disaster, burnt the cheese and the pasta was overcooked. LOL

i love pasta kasi really. when i was a kid, i had no idea talaga how to make the sauce. yun kasi yung masarap talaga..

only to find out, all purpose cream lang pala yun! hahaha..  well, until now favorite ko siya.. i just love na meron na rin d'lite cream version.. so para kahit araw arawin ko, guilt free..

i love it ng madaming mushrooms. super sarap!

If i remember it right, the first dish i learned how to cook was adobo. so traditional, so Filipino.

shux nag crave ako tuloy sa sinigang  wala ko hilig mag cook dati. puro pancakes lang  pero ngayon eto na sha.. baked goodies compilation.. hehe

mine was sinigang.. believe it or not.. i was only 12 years old when i cooked my first sinigang.. LOL! well, i was already in first year highschool when i was 12 so part of the home economics subject, we have to cook something as part of our exams and let our teacher eat what we cooked.

good thing Mrs. Monterozo, my teacher, wasn't poisoned.. LOL! i didn't ask for a demo from my mom. i just asked her which ones are the first to be put in the kaserola.. and then voila!

That's the same dish I cooked pero I was 16 na, my mom never allowed us anywhere near her kitchen pero one dinner she allowed me in and taught me pa! It was sinigang na baboy. Our kind of sinigang is super broth based lang walang saute-saute para walang mantika na dagdag. I just threw in the onions, kamatis and peppercorns, kumulo na I added the pork until it was cooked tapos sinigang mix! Then huli yung veggies. Masarap naman. It's my staple for winter nights!

i can still remember my first dish when i was a kid nag luto ako ng fried rice for breakfast cyempre yung toppings for breakfast din. i placed some onions, egg, potao, cheese, hotdog and bacon.
