hi.  i got the annual membership sa barre3; i have a 10% discount thus it's basically same price as the dealgrocer voucher.  Mas sulit [textspeak!] mag member considering you will be getting gcs and of course, you get to avail of the members' rates.

^Nice sis!  Do you go to class 3-4 times a week pa rin, even after a couple of months? I notice that they change up the routines but I'm wondering if may sawa factor sya.

I'm comparing the annual expenses ng Barre3, Planaforma and Yoga (in swanky gyms) and parang lahat naman sila PHp 50,000/year. Ang advantage ng Barre3 is may kasamang GCs ng the Spa, so parang so you get so much more than the package. Sa Planaforma naman, pwede mag-installment na 0% interest - which is nice cash-flow wise.

^yes, i target at least 4 times a week.  they do change the routine and i tend to go to different branches (so far tried 3 branches) so i get different instructors.  and iba iba style per instructor.

this week i was in celine's class for two days -- and the routine were slightly different pa rin. 

no sawa factor for me so far.  what i really love about barre3 (especially when i attend the first class or last class for the day), is the few number of students.

^Agree that each instructor have different styles! I've tried the Trinoma branch pa lang. I also like Celine's routines - baka nagkasabay pa tayo. 

I'm liking the results for my posture so far.  Ang hirap mag-diet during this season eh, hindi ko masabayan ng diet. 

I agree that few nga lang ang students, hindi masyadong crowded yung studio sa Trinoma. One time naka-around 12+ students yung class, nagulat ako.

Every start of the year nagppromo sila ng annual membership for 50K plus 3months. So basically 15months for 50K which is very good deal. I am waiting for this  . May GCs pa na kasama. Good deal!

I have been out of pinas or a while. I find these studios really expensive. Their rates are no different from first world countries.  Pati yung mga yoga na per hour.  Coming from a gym membership na maraming classes, with bigger locker room and shower area, etc. pag kinompare ko with specialized studios likes these, parang ang mahal kada session.  Not to mention the hassles of getting there, traffic and all.

But the real advantage of these smaller studios, is mas personalized ang mga instructors, and they really look at each one who attends - kasi kung mali ang gawa mo, instead of getting the benefit of the workout, baka ma injure ka pa.  Sa gym naman, if you attend a class, the instructor can see or not see you and it does not matter.

Just saying the pros and cons.

^^That's a pretty good promo, given the exorbitant price of Barre3. Parang lalabas na Php 3,333/month yung unlimited, for 15 months. Plus vouchers pa na I think worth Php 10,000ish (costing ko to). Pricey. 30% higher than my current budget for fitness.

I've been consistently taking wushu classes for around 3 years pero time-consuming na kasi sya for me now (I miss my wushu classes dearly). I'm taking my master's and working full time so kelangan ko ng efficient workout. Barre3 takes only an hour. So far, I'm liking the results after a month. I feel that my core is stronger, and I'll be brave to say I lost some inches in my tummy (I think, hindi ako nag-measure eh  ) because my clothes fit better. After class, tambay sa coffeeshop para mag-aral. 

The barre3 workout incorporates some combo movements as cardio. Pero I think iba pa rin yung cardio workout from wushu, boxing or running. So I'll need to jog around from time to time.

Mahal nga sya sis Girltalker2. Along with the swanky yoga gyms and pati yung mga crossfit gyms. And yes, onti lang students so the instructor can focus more on the students (Trinoma branch). They sell the DVD and ball for Php 1,500. But hindi sakin kasi effective exercising by myself. I get motivation from classmates.

I have another month then my voucher expires. I look forward to really good promos next year.

Yes. So far since nag start ako consistent yang promo na yan every January til March of the year. This is very nice kapag masipag ka umattend ng classs or if y0u live near the barre3 studios.

Wala pa yung annual promo nila.  My Dealgrocer voucher ended 10 days ago and I miss Barre3.

If they don't launch it soon, I might try one month unli of PlanaForma muna. Hopefully after that they'll have a promo.

what they have is 20% off for annual membership so instead of 50k magiging 40k

lalabas na 3,333 per month. I think not bad pa din kase may kasama pa rin naman cyang mga vouchers for the spa

Ok na rin. I think mas okay, kasi mas mababa cash outlay.
Pareho din papatak monthly:
Php 40,000/12 months = 3,333 per month
Php 50,000/15 months = 3,333 per month

Too bad, nag-enroll muna ako sa Plana Forma ng one month (Newcomer's special rate) dahil nainip ako sa kaaantay ng promo.
Pero gusto ko pa rin ang barre3! I'll enroll before the deal ends!

Maganda talaga na may kasamang vouchers na sya.

my friend and i will try barre3 sa ATC sa last week of this month. sayang naman na walang promo ang deal grocer...

I also saw this sa ATC kala ko nga wala na yung The Spa so iisa pala sila halos. Hmm medho tempted ako, I have a friend who did this looks okay naman. But whats the diff ba nitong Barre3 sa Plana? Same price ba?

Sulit na deal dahil sa vouchers.  And actually, better pa sya than their 20% of deal kasi 25% ang effective discount. Yun nga lang, kelangan 2 kayong mag-enroll.
