Vacation on Cruise...questions, tips, & suggestions

naintriga ako mga sis, [textspeak!] will ask hubby na itry namin un paguwi nya for vacation on feb next year. 

mga sis, zero knowledge kasi talaga ako about cruising.. ano ba ginagawa dito? well aside from literally cruising, how about yung stop over sa mga places? may tourist guide din ba yun? if ever meron, would they allow you guys na kumawala sakanila? how many hours ang stop over to each places?

sis joy...hindi ba nakakatakot sa cruise pag gabi na?? kamusta naman yung alon? takot ako ma-titanic eh...lagi ako yaya ni hubby mag-cruise takot lang ako talaga

I'll be going on a 7 day Caribbean cruise (with my girl friends) on the first week of February. It'll be my first time. May question ako sa mga naka experience na ng cruise, how will I call home when I'm at sea and how will my family contact me in case of emergency or whatever? nagwuwork ba ang prepaid phone cards? I'm worried kasi maiiwan si hubby and yung 5 yr old kid ko.

^mina, sa akin ba itong question mo? sagutin ko na rin. nakakatakot sa umpisa, lalo na pag nasa gitna na kayo ng ocean at wala ka nang matanaw na lupa.  pero super enjoy kasi sa ship kaya nakalimutan ko yung fear ko. nung 2nd cruise namin, saktong lumindol ng malakas sa china (yung sobrang daming namatay sa lindol) kaya sobrang laki ng alon. nakakatakot talaga. my then 4-year-old daughter and i got sea sick. nag-vomit kami sa sobrang hilo dahil sa lakas ng alon. thank God dahil safe naman kaming lahat.

depende yan sis kung may signal or wala.  ang experience namin is when you're out at sea, walang signal. but as you near land, magkakaron ng signal yan.  you can contact your home whenever you reach shore.  otherwise, chamba chamba lang kung kelan may signal

cuz we went on a ship from calais, france to london and I look like a drunk when walking kasi yun ship nga, galaw galaw sya shempre. Saka when we were eating, nakaupo lang, nakakahilo talaga!

depende yun kung gaano kataas ang waves.  if mga 3-4 ft lang, di nakakhilo.  anything higher medyo nararamdam mo na.   if mahilohin ka, baka dapat may dala kayong bonamine.

di naman sha nakakahilo pero ramdam na ramdam mo talaga yung ship na gumagalaw especially sa gabi kasi they tend to speed it up para maaga maka-dock. I remember nong pagkagaling namin sa Bahamas sobrang malaki yung alon, so talagang naglalakad kami na nakakapit sa mga rails hehhehe.

By the way, if anyone here wants to go on a cruise to Alaska or Europe, I can share some tips as I have taken cruises to those places .

Gusto ko rin to.. parang hitting 2 birds in 1 stone... nakapagtravel na ko sa ibang bansa.. nakasakay pa ko ng mala titanic na ship.. I saw Star Virgo a few weeks back.. and para akong bata as in talagang WOOOOW!!! haha.. parang titanic.. ang ganda... hehe.. tapos paulit ulit ko sinasabi sa nanay ko.. I wanna go.. I wanna go..

^not sure about the duration of the installment sis, i just got a brochure that came with my statement. i just kept it in my mind but threw out the brochure. baka it's in their website  thought it was a good deal since i have taken Royal Carribbean cruises twice and have enjoyed it a lot.

but Singapore kasi yung port nya so you also have to get flight tickets to SG..

we're planning to go on a cruise to the bahamas this december. we have multiple entry visa to the US, my question is, do we need a bahamian visa too?
