Actually kailangan may kasama yung baby mo almost 1hr yung session then unlimited play after ng class yung fee depende sa kung ilang session yung kukunin mo

I know what you mean.  Have 4 children although medyo graduate na ko sa "I need a yaya" stage. 

So now I am seriously contemplating on opening a home-based daycare center business in quezon city.

Next school year, I guess.  I think I will start with 3 kids muna - I love being around kids kasi. I love watching them play and tinker with toys.  Actually lahat nga - pati feeding them healthy food enjoy ako.

My concept is to have a center that will solve the problems of working moms who are looking for a year-round, consistent guardian/care-giver who can look after their kids - without the worries.  It would be more of a daycare only just like in the U.S.

My target market - working moms with school-age  kids (4 and up) who opt to leave their kids with a reliable daycare center instead of sa yaya lang. 

What do you think, moms?

i think that would be great kasi as a mom of 2 girls minsan pag mayblakad ako or pag gusto ko mag work hindi ko magawa kasi Kailangan may kasama yung mga bata sa bahay at minsan I feel like my yaya is incharge of the house at takot ka pag sabihan kasi baka umalis pero sana puwede as young 4months old puwede kasi 4 months at 2 yrs old baby ko

my daughter is almost 2 and in the last year alone, I've had to change yayas 3 times. right now, im really a slave to the whole yaya thing because I work full time and she needs 100% attention pa. but when she's bigger, can play and have activities without another adult full time, a day care would be a great alternative. she will get to interact with other kids pa.

Hello Mommies!

My son is under child care here in SG for a year already, 7am -7pm. Much better rather than having yaya, IMO ko lang Though pricey siya pero kampante ka pa rin kahit nasa work ka. Hinanatid namin siya ng 7:45am then sundo ng 6:15pm.

Meron silang daily activity. Like sa morning breakfast (nakain pa rin son ko sa bahay bago ihatid  ). Then study their lesson like science, math, arts etc etc. then they have their playtime. after playtime rest for a while then take a bath na sila then lunch time then nap time.

Sa afternoon naman may lesson ulet sila tas may tea break then lesson ulet hanggang 5pm tas magplay na ulit sila hanggang sa dumating ang parents.

meron ding pros and cons pero syemre as parents we have to continue to guide our kids lalo na at their young age sobrang curious sila sa mga bagay bagay

Meron ba tayo sa Pilipinas na child care/day care certification? Sa ibang bansa kasi may set standards at accreditation agencies. Ang mga care givers dapat may sapat na training sa first aid, health & safety practices, etc. The day care should have enough space for play and rest times.

For mommies who are looking for a good day care in Mandaluyong, I recommend Kiddo Academy.  They used to be in GA Tower along Edsa, but I think they already moved to the building beside it. They have a facebook account. You can look them up.
Sobrang laking help ng school na yan because my daughter schooled in the morning, then day care sa hapon. Hubby and I are working full-time so we dropped our daughter off in the morning then pick her up after office hours. Maganda naman ang experience ng anak namin kasi dyan sya natutong magsalita. Maraming activities kaya sulit ang bayad.
We never opted for a yaya because we don't want our daughter to get saturated with the TV (which is more likely what would happen with a yaya around). And besides, being in a day care is more productive for toddlers because they will learn how to socialize aside from the lessons they get from preschool.
@mommybunini, your day care would be a great idea. It would be very helpful for working parents.

There's a nice day care center in Makati, near Rockwell. You can look it up online - St Michael's Playhouse. I checked the place and loves it. Planning to apply there as a part time teacher

^^I've heard a lot of good reviews on St Michael's Playhouse too and I considered it din back when I had no yaya for several months. Mejo malayo nga lang sya samin so I didn't push through.

Yung sa kiddo dati sa anak ko as iremember 6k per month ang gastos namin. Morning preschool then afternoon day care. Sulit na kesa magbayad kami ng 3k per month for yaya. Marami pang natututunan and social activities.

May alam akong nag aaccept din ng day care sa brgy. San antonio, pasig. It's kiddie miracles naman. 200 per day di kasama ang tuition. Pero maliit lang sya na school.

Good day mommies! I enrolled my 5 y.o. son in a daycare center named kidsiology in city land makati tower 3. So far satisfied naman ako. My isang caregiver isang teacher at isang mommy every day owner/partner ng center.They have also summer coarses offered. Rate for a month is 5k daily is 500 and 200 for hourly.

^I hope they expand their branches. This country is in serious scarcity of daycares. Dapat ng maging business to satin because of a lot of working professionals who have kids.
