Day Care Center Thread

Hi mga mommies out there, di ko alam kung may thread na about Day Care   center.. just want to ask kung what age ba dapat ienroll ang bata  for day care.. im planning kasi ienroll ko sa day care center para makapag.interact [textspeak!] with other kids. any advice naman dian mga momsies .. TIA

sa akin, oks lang.. yun din sana ang plan namin ni hubby for our 3.5yo son.. but, it looks like we will change our plan.. super hyper kc sa school. baka short classes lang muna namin papasukin like swimming, karate, etc.

meron ba kayong alam na daycare center for 1yr old.... yung typical daycare center abroad where you can leave your child for awhile... where there is a caregiver for babies or toddlers...

im so fed up with these yayas na they come and go..

same here. I had 2 yayas recently who only asked for a day off then babalik after few days. I had to cancel important appointments tuloy. Sana there is a day care (like those in the US) where I can leave my daughter, she is 14 months old. A day care who is reputable and established na din for our own peace of mind. If any of you knows any info pls share it here. Im doing research on my own, ill compile it and share too.

There's Arugaan Day Care Center in Marikina. I've been thinking of 'enrolling' my 2yo son din, [textspeak!] mejo hesitant ako to leave him..I'd still have to gather my guts..although very good ang reviews sa day care center na ito.

Smarty's Play Place has a daycare but didn't leave my daughter there; we just played for about an hour. 


Does Kalinga Day Care Center accept kids on a daily basis?

Wow im excited about this. I just need to wait for my daughter to walk on her own. I think two more months pa. I have a yaya already so im looking for a perfect activity for her aside from playhouses inside the malls. We live 10 min away from casa milan. Do they offer free trials? Hope affordable yun rates.

There is a new ballet School and Ballet Day Care Center na pwede little toddlers 1-4 years old for a very unique ballet day care program based on UK it's super Popular sa London and this will be the 1st one they are starting sa Phils this will opened around March 2011 along Commonwealth sa main road near Casa Milan Fairview Quezon City it develops Childrens love for the arts and music and dance at the same time they develop motor skills and social interaction  plus it's super fun  they develop self confidence and poise of a ballerina.

hi mga siz,, ako rin i have 3year old son and plan ko rin sana na maenroll ko muna siya sa day care center para rin matuto makipag socialize sa mga mga kids. ang hirap kasi pag papasok na agad sa school tapos ang mahal ng tuition,, in the end ayaw na nyang pumasok..at least yon pag na enjoy na nya ang pagpasok tsaka nalang namin sya ieenroll sa mga ok na school..

sis, meron ba silang once a week lang? kc parang nakakapagod sa mga bata kung isasalang agad sila ng 5days in a week.. TIA..

the one in Marikina was moved na to the PIA office in Visayas Ave (?)   hindi ko pa natatapos yung blog post ko about the place but maybe nga you can work something out with Nanay Ines so your child can come lang, say, twice a week

Arugaan's approach is a little like Waldorf but more local/Filipino... and their rates include vegetarian meals/food

DV... wait ha, I will ask... just texted Nay Ines    I know for sure na there's no nurse/doctor in the day care, but I asked nga about first aid training... or if PIA naman has a nurse/doctor in its premises.

i volunteered there for a few weeks (back in 2002) as a requirement in CWSD and i could say that toddlers enrolled there are usually kids of busy parents. they can leave the kids there and trust the facilitators. gates are locked for security. parents or yaya could stay outside the playrooms. working parents picked their kids up by 5PM or later. i taught kids as young as 2yo.

usual activities:

- play
- storytelling
- tv viewing (barney then)
- discussions of simple things (weather, families, etc)

that was a long time ago. they could have changed and improved the daily activities. i recommend Kalinga to every parents (working or not working).
