^sis thanks sa info, pero ask ko lang yung TV time nila ilang minutes? or hours? saka sis during your time ilang tots per class? nagiisip kasi ako talaga napapasukin si baby dito if ever bumalik ako sa work. kasi feeling ko mas matuto siya dito kesa magstay sa bahay kasi puro oldies na kasama niya wala kaming kapitbahay na bata. thanks sis

Hi Mga sis, we are starting a daycare center along shaw blvd sa 3rd floor ng lee gardens condominium. Day care is called bumble bee preschool and day care center. we have hourly, half day and whole day rates... mga sis help me naman to spread the word, 1st venture [textspeak!] namin ito... we have child friendly and child safe playing areas, carefully chosen educational toys, we have daily activities (story telling, arts and crafts), we also have quiet and cozy area for nap tme. all were supervised by early childhood teachers.

I tried Bumble Bee Daycare and my little girl loved it! She stayed for one whole week straight while I had to attend to family matters. I would bring her there before 10 a.m and pick her up before 5 p.m. The directress is really nice (they also have a preschool) and their yayas sobrang mabait. As in sobrang love nila daughter ko and I appreciate how they cared for her. Sayang at lumipat lang kami sa Sucat.

There's Arugaan Day Care Center in Marikina. I've been thinking of 'enrolling' my 2yo son din, [textspeak!] mejo hesitant ako to leave him..I'd still have to gather my guts..although very good ang reviews sa day care center na ito.

We "enrolled" our 3 and a half year old daughter in the day care near our house (about 10 houses away). Unfortunately, we decided to transfer her to a private play school afer only a week. Do you know why? There were 50 of them in the "class" plus each kid had a parent with him/her, so that was about 100 people inside a tiny "classroom." Also, the "teacher" was a social worker who would come to class late, write a few lines on the blackboard and text on her cellphone for 30 minutes. "Recess" would be an hour long (during which the teacher would text some more), the after recess, the teacher would sing a song with the kids then they would be dismissed. Waste of time and money, although not so much the money part as it only cost us 300 to enroll her, 500 for the uniforms, 30 a month (for maintainance of the classroom) and a donation of cleaning supplies.

I really hope we get to have day cares here which follow the very same concept of 'day care' in the US. That way working parents need not depend on yayas who are mostly unreliable din naman.

I also enrolled my 3.5 yr old daughter to a daycare in our brgy. I paid php2,200 which includes 4 bks, 2 sets of uniforms and a day care fee. Parents are not allowed to stay inside the room which consists of at least 20 kids. Classes starts at 12 PM til 1:30 PM.  During the first week, I stayed inside the room just to see what their daily classes are like. Their activities vary daily, I think depending on the mood of their teacher. They always start their class with a prayer. One time, they sang three sets of songs (Watermelon song, Twinkle2, Ako ay may Lobo). Afterwards, their teacher will call them one by one to help them draw (e.g. lines, shapes). Then comes recess time (they will pray before and after). Then, they will continue to draw and then class is dismissed.  There are days that they would just draw the whole day. Instead of having to go to malls and have her play in play houses that can be costly, daycare center doesn’t seem to be that bad for us. Overall, I really don’t expect my daughter to learn that much in the daycare center (academically wise) but that’s okay because we just help her with that at home. Our main reason for allowing her to enroll is just for her learn how to socialize with other kids since she is an only child and I think the daycare center served that purpose.

I check several pre school here in marikina puro 3y/o ang ina accept nila. May alam b kayo day care for 18months old and mga 2x a week lang

Ako naman I enrolled my Daughter (turned 3 last April 2013) in a Barangay Day Care Center as Nursery. Less than 2500 binayaran ko which includes 2 sets of uniform, 1 PE uniform 4 books and 4 notebooks. nasa loob siya ng Village namin so safe naman siya, Ok naman yung daughter ko, she knows a lot already given the fact na 3 lang siya, I think government officials (I live in Cainta) invest in these Teachers kase may mga trainings silang inaattendan on how to handle kids effectively. If I remember it right nung summer sa Miriam College sila nag seminar.
Also, may time pa akong mag ipon ng bongga kase till kinder lang yung Daycare dun sa Village namin, I still have almost 2 years para pag ipunan ang big school.

Good for you sisses if the day care centers in your respective barangays are worth sending your kiddos to. If you were in my shoes I'm sure aalisin nyo rin anak nyo, imagine almost a hundred people in one room everyday and a "teacher" who does nothing but text for almost two hours? Ewan ko lang kung sasabihin nyong okay lang yun sa inyo, haha.

My daughter will be taking the exam in De La Salle Zobel next year. I seriiously doubt if that day care will prepare her for that.

saan kayo sa cainta? share mo naman kung saan yang school ng kid mo im from valleygolf kasi and this early naghahanap na ako ng preschool for my daughter..ayoko naman ng mga super expensive schools..saka na yun pag nasa grade school na siya.. thanks sis!

Ako rin working mom, and yung yaya ng bunso ilan beses na nagpapaalam na nauudlot, which lagi naman nagpapaalarma sakin sino magalaga sa anak ko, sana nga may magshare kung meron daycare na maghapon yung bata na medyo mura din syempre.. TIA

Is there a daycare playschool for babies sa Manila sana near Taft avenue/dlsu? My son is 13 months palang  i plan to enrol him pag nag 14 months medjo hesitant na ako mag yaya sobrang bad experience ko sa last one.
