pasalubong from US

Naku mga Sis I am in the same dilemma ngayon. Thinking of what pasalubong should I bring. Ang dami kasing relatives sa Pilipinas, pag binigyan mo yung isa eh kailangan lahat... tapos may pasalubong na eh hihingi pa ng $$$. 

Anyways, I need advice from you girls. Anong magandang ipasalubong for a person who almost got everything? 

Will the Victoria secret lotion or BBW lotions be good enough? As a backgrounder, my cousin is gay at he almost have everything. As in puro branded mga gamit nya (LV). He's a very nice guy pero medyo high end ang taste. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you!!!

^take advantage of the Memorial Day sales. Better if you get branded items from the outlet shops this weekend kasi super sale sila. Just to give you an example I bought CK linen pants kanina originally priced at USD92.00 but came out to USD22.00 na lang (roughly Php1000). Grabe sa mura mga items dito!

sis, for persons who has everything na, what about specialty food stuff that's only available dun sa place where you had your vacation?  i.e. a box of artisan chocolates,  a bottle of wine from a boutique vineyard, cheese from a small farm, etc.  anything na hindi mass-produced

@burgundy: you could also get him his favorite perfume or favorite food or if he collects something give him something for his collection.
ganyan din cousin ko, pero pwede na bag of chocolates sa kanila kasi chocolate lovers sila. mahirap silang bilhan ng pasalubong kasi at least 3 months/year nasa US din sila for vacation. nagbibigay lang kami to show them that we remembered them.
you could also ask him if he needs/want something from there. para sure ka na magamit nya yun. sayang lang kasi kung di nya magagamit yung ibibigay. most likely maappreciate nya yung pasalubong pero mas maganda yung feeling kung nakikita mo talagang nagagamit nya yung bigay  mo.

Mama Squeek, I didnt think about the outlets! Sayang. Super tight na ang sched ko so I cant go anymore. Malayo kasi mga outlets sa amin. Also, pangit ang fashion sense ko... kasi  yung maganda for me eh pangit sa kanila at yung maganda for them eh pangit naman for me.    I went to Ross this afternoon and saw this Calvin Klein white undershirt... $17 sya for 3 pcs. Pwede na kaya yun? Kahit pangbahay nya lang?

Which is better ba? Godiva Chocolate or Ghirardelli? For me kasi eh a chocolate is a chocolate. LOL.

Burgundy- truffles from Costco. You can never go wrong.

@burgundy, sis Godiva chocolates are good but they're a European brand so it's a bit more expensive than Ghirardelli chocolates. Taste wise pareho lang naman sila. But since you're coming from the US, get the Ghirardelli ones. Try to get them during the Memorial Day holiday because marami silang freebies and discounts.

share ko lang our pasalubongs when we went there last May:
from vegas:
-casino chip pillow, different colors - sobrang natuwa lang mga friends ko na suki ng casino hehe
-sleepwear na 2pc-bikini ang design (meron din sa sanfo bayarea) - cute cute, medyo pricey lang for a pantulog $20 each

from CA:
-reusable ice cubes for my titas - got them in bedbath&beyond, $3 to $4 ata yun, 30 small cubes. cute sya ipang-gift, saka magagamit sya talaga. medyo mabigat nga lang kung maraming bibilhin hehe
-towels sa bedbath&beyond din, may sale sila nun nasa $3 din each.
-SFO caps sa mga tiangge lapit sa fisherman's wharf

Costco:
-mini's/assorted chocolates
-spam - back read this forum, natuwa ako sa post ng isang sis natin about spam, nakaka-relate ako hehe
-truffles - must! super yummy sya! mas mura sa costco, meron din ata sa walmart
-soaps
-biscotti

-we also found cheap but good stuffs sa walgreen, like makeup (99c)
-may good buys din sa 99c store and walmart - lotion, perfume (99c), maganda naman packaging kaya pwede sa mga kasambay, driver or sa mga di masyado choosy na relatives

ako naman since super cheap ako bumili ako ng pasalubong after christmas like perfume ay not more than $5 per set, then chocolate naman after halloween kasi super mura. then mga t-shirt after boxing day kasi dun mas nagbababa sila ng prices so nasa $2-$3 isa. then mga de lata pag dollars days so $1 na lang. ang dami kong nabibili pero hidni ako napapagastos ng bongga.
