Every when should you celebrate your kid's birthday with a party?

really, they can remember their 3rd celeb na?  sana nga coz we just celebrated my daughter's 3rd and parang i doubt if she can remember na, hehe...

we did a study on this... in a class of Nursery students... we interviewed them one by one... the first question was:  How was your first birthday?

Most of them will answer as if based lang from a book they have read.  Tapos parang kulang sa excitement. 

Pero when we threw the second question:  How about your third birthday?

Ay grabe!  Yung mga mata nila, nag-go-glow talaga.  As in, kuwentuhang umaatikabo na ito.  He-he.  Na tipong kahit almost a year na yung dumaan, akala mo kahapon lang nangyari.  Simple or not yung celebration, one way or the other, makikita mong may tatak sa puso't isipan nila.

My kids can remember their second and third birthday parties.  Sa first birthday they remember only because they've watched the video and seen the pictures.

Super enjoy sila sa third birthday because may muwang na sila sa magic show and nag-participate sila sa games.  Sa second birthday naman, what they remember is the bubble show and storytelling.

Natatandaan ng daughter ko lahat ng parties nya kahit walang pictures ipakita by party theme pag magkwento sya at sa size ng cake

Pinaka gusto nya yung 2nd bday nya.

Every year kami magse-celebrate simple lang pero magse-celebrate

^ malamang mam, tama yung iniisip mo. haha. basta merong budget gusto ko maghanda. sarap magsama sama pamilya at kaibigan habang lumalafang! once lang naman sa isang taon. pwede na.

^ oo laki budget ko. nilalakad ko na nga lang bahay-trabaho e. tinitipid ko na din pagkain namin araw araw para lang makapag party! hahaha. joke naman.

di tama lang mars, napag ipunan naman. next year school party na. gaya gaya ako e. LOL

@Haps, yes, super enjoy sila kasi sumali sila sa games at nag-abot din sila ng loot bags.

Rose, tama feeling ko nga. exciting talaga. concern lang ako pag may 2nd baby na kung ganito pa din mga balak ko sa buhay. LOL

^ pinkpotato, korak!  last year pa kami nag-start mag-plan for her 7th birthday... he-he... concept talaga niya actually, kami lang ni Dada ang more of putting all her ideas together lang... basta everytime na may moment siya na "on my 7th bday gusto ko may ________, huh?", take note agad kami ni Dada.

Yeah... kaya ang hirap kasi nakikipag-unahan kami sa mga bride when it comes to venue, photographer and so on and so forth...

Kaya ang ending, we decided to have it on the very day of her birthday kahit pa pumatak siya ng Thursday.

ako naman gusto ko 1st, 7th and 21st lang (or 18th if I'll have a baby girl) ang party.  Sa house na lang or travel plans sa ibang birthdays. and since I've recently been hooked into cooking and baking, kaya ko ng maghanda ng meals for simple family gatherings.

dilemma ko din toh, i want to celebrate sana every year sa phils hanggang nakakauwi kami during her birthday kasi once she starts school, we can no longer celebrate it in the phils na.  so gusto ko sana every year until she's about 3 or 4 party sa phils....

I'm still thinking kung ippush through ko tong plano na to, and if mapush through dapat stick na ako sa budget ko

Decided to throw an intimate party for my daughter's 3rd bday. It will just be our family and all my daughters' classmates are invited, about 31 kids. I hope I can pull it off! Its just a few weeks away.
