Every when should you celebrate your kid's birthday with a party?

kami every year eh...pag in between 1 and 7 sa house lang or sa fastfood

every year as much as possible...the celebration doesn't have to be lavish. as long as there's the blowing cake, ice cream, spaghetti, and balloons with the family and few guests, i think that would suffice. but for this year, we're still deciding whether to celebrate it in school or in a fast food chain.

Whether its simple or grand, we should always celebrate as each added year is such a blessing. The 1st, 7th ( for both boys and girls ) and 18th ( girls/ladies ) are the most important, prepared in advance,  and must be well-planned. We also have to remember to spend within our means and make our children understand the reason behind the celebration.

we celebrated my daughter's birthday nung 1st and 3rd nya with a party, yung 2nd and 4th sa house lang with her cousins... next year she will turn 5 na, maybe sa house lang this time, next party na nya is yung 7th birthday nya...

Sa panganay ko ang may big party lang eh nung 1,3 and sa 7 years old niya, baka ang ulit na ng big party eh sa 18th birthday niya. Hindi kasi kami party people sa bahay talaga. Kaya as much as possible, dinner lang with close relatives and we travel, out of town.

Like nung 6th birthday niya, we went to HK disneyland and oceanpark, kesa gastusin namin sa malaking party, na enjoy pa ng anak ko ang disneyland =)

On Zoe's 2nd birthday, iniisip ko pa kung pano ice-celebrate. It wont be as big as her 1st pero I still wanna celebrate it pa din.

1st bday (Pinas) and 2nd bday (States) parehong  big party only because nung 1st bday di nakauwi family ng Husband ko so my in-laws gave a bongga party for my daughter and now for her 3rd bday since uuwi na naman kami ng Pinas, we're doing it at ActiveFun since mahilig siya sa mga indoor playgrounds, not as big as the 1st one pero paghahandaan pa din next big party na siguro pag mag 7 years old na siya.

For us, every year but NOT with a big party naman...

kami e ang big party nya ngayon 1st birthday nya.. then bahala na sa mga susunod.. kasi syempre maraming mas need iprioritized than big parties e like education

pero depende yan sa family and sa finances syempre.. if rich and kayang kaya pwedeng yearly big and bonggang party

Share ko lang: kami ng sister ko ang pinaka bonggang birthday namin eh 1st bday lang.. from 2 years old to 7 years old e handa sa bahay then from 8th hanggang lumaki na kami, tamang family get together lang, kain sa labas, etc.. we were not able to experience a debut nga. Pero Ok lang sa amin. ganon talaga parents namin.. super duper practical people.. They invest their money sa business and properties.

on my 18th birthday instead of giving me a big debut party, they gave me a house and lot with title na sa akin naka name Sana magawa ko din ito sa daughter ko.

Yearly celebration but not as grand as her 1st birthday party. 2nd and 4th birthday house party lang with kapitbahay and kinakapatid, 3rd birthday was celebrated in school as per our daughter's request. Next year gusto niya ulit sa house kasi masaya daw, maraming kids

on my 18th birthday instead of giving me a big debut party, they gave me a house and lot with title na sa akin naka name Sana magawa ko din ito sa daughter ko.

wow, sis!  galing naman ng parents mo!  oo nga no, sana kaya ko rin 'to kaso 3 kids ko - 2 pa magkasunod.  mahirap yata, haha!

^^ ^ oo nga mga sis e.. bilib ako sa kanila.. hindi namin naranasan ang bonggang mga party.. except nung 1st bday namin na sa pics lang namin nakikita kaya natatandaan namin.. pero they secured our future agad.. They keep on investing talaga. kanya kanya lang talaga ang parents e. Pero ako naaapreciate ko talaga ang parents ko..

in the past 4 years, medyo kada taon din kami nag paparty. yung recent birthday ng daughter ko Tangled is the theme she chose but while preparing she is thinking about the 5th birthday na with theme in mind, Merliah/Ariel/Mermaids.

masaya din sakyan kalokohan minsan ng mga bata especially kung alam talaga nila gusto nila and they can express na themeselves, like sa daughter ko, this is the best day, ever mom! mga ganun ibabanat sayo. paparty na lang ng paparty. nakakatuwa lang na masaya sila.

sabi nga ng marami, minsan lang sila bata so hanggat naeenjoy naten sila bilang bata, it would be a great advantage to them. iba iba ang level ng party ng kada pamilya but it would still be the same level of happiness sa celebrator, always a blast!

Most likely, kami we will only celebrate her birthday when she turns 1, 7, 18 and 21. The rest, kakain na lang sa labas with the family pero wala ng party. Or maybe sa bahay lang handa.

We celebrate every year because my kids almost never made it.  That's why each birthday is a celebration of life. First and third birthdays nila we spent a little, 2nd, 4th and 5th birthdays sa house and village cafe lang though pinaghandaan ko rin ang mga details like the activities and giveaways.  This year, I am inclined to celebrate the birthday in a fast food resto or TGI Fridays.  Hindi pa kasi kami nagfa-fast food party at medyo tinamad ako mag-isip ng gagawin.  My kids love parties, big or small, kaya worth it for us to have parties yearly.

sa daughter ko naman, plan ko lang before na i-celebrate 'yung 1st & 7th birthday n'ya with medyo big parties..but nung mag-4 na s'ya, nag-request s'ya ng party so s'yempre hindi ko matitiis kaya we had a fastfood party nung 4th birthday n'ya..s'ya pumili ng theme and ibang party details..and sobrang happy n'ya nun and 'yun kase na-remember n'ya as compared to 1st birthday n'ya na sa pictures/video n'ya lang nakita..

'yung 2nd & 3rd, simple house party lang then nung 5th & 6th, school party naman..then, this coming 7th birthday n'ya, excited na s'ya..ang dami request sa party details..haha..
