^ sis, nasa 46-50k (depending on the terms of payment you prefer) plus misc fee (6k +) and uniform na lang and some school supply stuffs. you'll get 5% discount for 2nd child hth

any idea how much ang tuition sa UP CDC?

yung sa Kalinga Day Care Center, nakalagay kasi sa website:
"Children are grouped by age; children 1.6 to 3 years are in the younger children’s group and children ages 3 to 5.5 years are in the older children’s group." ... so if i enroll my daughter there next year (she will be 3 by then), until mag-5.5 years old siya same class lang?  as in 1 level only like sis marose is saying dun sa montessori?

also, curious lang ako...for CDC or Kalinga Day Care, may school service kaya duon na pwede i-avail?

sis curious din ako sa Kalinga Day Care, though very young pa naman baby ko. Gusto ko sana itry next year when my baby turns 2 YO sana. Kasi kawawa naman baby ko puro adults ang kasama dito. More on socialization sana. Nagreresearch nga din ako about sa program nila, and luckily naman yung Mom ng GF ng brother ko UP employee so dun ako nagtatanong, even sa UP-CDC sabi ko update ako kung application week na, baka sakali manalo sa jackpot how old is your baby sis?

There will be a preschool and enrichment fair at Eastwood Mall from May 16-22.  Schools like Reedley, Britesparks, Tumble Tots, Pail and Shovel, Learning Jungle and others, as well as enrichment centers such as Global Art, will be participating.  QC mommies looking for a preschool might want to take advantage of this fair.

Hi mga mommies!
Finally, i made a decision on what preschool to enrol my dear bunso. It's CHILD preschool on Scout Santiago.
After my daughter had trial class, I was convinced that it's the best preschool for her. The teachers were all accommodating and it seemed they really do love kids. I also like their curriculum plus the fact that they have regular field trips to broaden their perspective. Plus they have chinese class which I think would help her even if we're not chinese (haha!).
We'll enroll our bunso this week.

But the important thing is we take time to know the school by visiting them and learning about their methods vis a vis what we think is best for our children.
Yun lang, i'll keep you posted on my daughter's preschool experience.

^ Sis, I only read it in one of the streamers inside the mall.  Baka whole day affair?  Kindly call Eastwood na lang for details.  I took note lang of the schools that are participating.   Marami pa aside from those I enumerated.

hi. i'm a newbie here. actually, this is my first time to post. i have a 2yo daughter and i plan to enroll her on preschool next school year (2012). i have read several suggestions located in qc. we're from project 7 veterans village. could you recommend schools near our place? thank you in advance.

sis, sa loob eto ng carmel 3 subd. they have 2 gates. 1 gate is open til 9am, this is along tandang sora ave, near mindanao avenue, infront of st vincent church. the 2nd gate is at the back of cherry foodarama, mga mfew rights and left turns to carmel 3 subd. gate is open whole day.

sissis, any feedback for St. Charbel learning center? This is very near our place kasi. And what are the schools pa near Tandang sora kaya? Thank you in advance!

^ My friend's son go to MSA Whiz Kids Academy in Novaliches.  Wala akong feedback though.  You can check out the school.

MSA Whiz Kids Academy is a beautiful school. But expensive, 61k tuition fee excluding uniforms. Pero kasama na lahat ng miscellaneous fees, field trip and they annually hold children's theater where the kids perform on stage (SM Cinemas) ang cucute ng costumes!! Lagi sa SM ang events nila.. The classroom is very nice.. And super cute ng mga mini stroller bags nila pare-pareho even lunch kit and pencil case! pink sa girls, blue naman sa boys. hihi..

hi again sisses! i posted here in GT a few days ago asking for suggestions for a progressive preschool and SPED center.

i just want to share that my husband and i finally visited Bloomfields Learning Circle. it's a small school that offers progressive education located in a residential area in T. Sora. my husband and i have visited a handful of progressive schools na and also SPED schools na rin in the area and we've learned na ang mamahal pala ng tuition fees nila, especially [textspeak!] SPED program. Bloomfields is quite a catch! when we went there, the roads were quite bumpy and medyo tago [textspeak!] place. but when we reached the school, feeling ko the search was worth it. they have spacious, colorful and creatively decorated classrooms and also a big playground and 1:6 lang ang student-teacher ratio. i had a good talk with the school directress and was impressed about what they had to offer. their 3's and 4's already know how to read and most of their kindergarten already pass to enter grade 1, hindi na kailangan mag prep! and the best part, ang mura sa kanila compared to other progressive schools, around P27k lang. i'm so happy too na maaccommodate nila sa SPED program ang child ko (we were turned down by other SPED schools 3x na!). i was so relieved to find them. im looking forward to spending a fun-filled school year for my kids!

as a new mom, i don't know much about parenting yet but i figured that choosing the right school for your child is so tough. but right now i feel quite triumphant.
