Di pa bawas ang Philhealth po dyan. Yung case namin di nabawas yung Philhealth so need ko mag claim pa sa kanila.

Gave birth here last July 22.  Normal.

Expenses:
Hospital Mom - 41K
Hospital Baby - 11K
OB Fee - 28K
Anes - 14K
Pedia - 4K

Total: 98K -- lahat ito is already net of Philhealth so when it comes to the true total lagpas 100K talaga.

We only got the small private room na 3300 per night ata. It's super kaduper sikip. We actually asked friends wag na bumisita kasi ang sikip talaga.

Namamahalan sako sa cost ng nursery stay ni baby na 11K considered she only stayed there half a day. Kasi na-room in naman agad siya sa akin -- there were no problems naman kasi with baby.

Had I known I would've spent this much, nag St Luke's na lang sana ako, ang lapit pati sa house namin (like 5 mins away). But my OB kasi is accredited with a few hospitals and Medical City lang nagustuhan ko. 


Pero pagdating sa service ng staff -- wala ako masabi -- everyone was so accommodating.

My husbands other complaint -- sablay ang elevators.

Dami palang nanganganak sa Medical City parang every hour may nadadagdag :-)

Total bill is 170K less philhealth na. CS ako and private room yung kinuha ko.

Medyo malaki yung pf ng OB ko kasi senior consultant na sya. 

OB - 60K
anes- 20k
pedia - 8K

the rest hospital bill na and bill ni baby.

Yung staff super bait.

For those who gave birth in TMC, did you have your husband with you during delivery? Do they allow that? Also, has anyone used the Lamaze Room and/or Delivery Suite? How was your experience? Was it worth it?

Question mga sis, plan ko mag-package na lang, before hand ba dapat iinform mo na sila (medical city) na package ang kukuhain or yung time na mismo pag punta dun pag nagle-labor at manganganak na dun sila iinform? or OB ko ang iinform ko? kasi di naman sa medical city ako nagpapa-check up.. sa clinic ni OB pero sa medical city ako manganganak kasi dun nagpapa-anak ob ko.. Hi, gave birth last Feb 6, 2008 sa Lamaze Room. Ok naman sha. Hubby was there with me. Pinasok lang ako ng Lamaze Room from Labor Room nung malapit na talaga ako manganak para di magmahal bill.

Last Aug 4, 2013 nanaganak naman ako sa normal Delivery Room nila. Hubby was also allowed to be with me. Pinayagan kasi ng OB ko. I think need mo sabihin muna sa OB kun payag sha for that.

Need mo sis sabihin muna sa OB mo if ur availing of the package. Then kapag i-admit kana nila during ur stay sa Pre-labor room they will ask u kung ano i-avail mo as agreed with ur OB, that is, kung package or private room. then sign ka ng papers for that.

Sis coffeeflava, worth it a yung Lamaze room? I'm wondering kasi what the difference in price would be if I get the Lamaze Room or not. Malaki ba yung difference?

sa mga sis na hindi nag avail ng maternity package, is there any way para ma-lessen yung mommy
and baby bills? may mga supplies ba na pwede ko na iprovide para hindi na ma-charge pa. like
yung clothes ng baby or diapers? naalala nyo pa ba kung ano mga na-charge sa bills inyo?

another question, may option ba na hindi magpa-epidural? para hindi na magcharge ng pf yung
anes? I asked this kasi dun sa doctor na nag-assess sakin sa APEC, sabi nya 99.9% daw nagaavail
ng epidural.

my OB said hindi ako qualified sa package since medyo may complications ako,
im just finding ways para makatipid kahit konti. sigh..

Di provided ng Medical City yung Clothes ni baby. You need to provide that.
Meron sila chinarge na toiletries for baby's bath while you are in the hospital such as diaper,
lactacyd baby bath, cotton.
Pati yung pillows alam ko may bayad kasi pinauwi sa amin yung two pillow.s

Ako nag avail ako ng epidural kasi masakit talaga nung nasa labor room ako na inabot ng 17 hours. Induced Labor kasi ako. 3cm pa lang ako nagpa epidural na ako. Pero nauwi din sa CS.

Goodluck sis! Sana makapag normal ka para di malaki ang bill mo.

^^Thanks sis chinita princess. try ko itanong kung pwede ko na iprovide yun para ma-less sa bills. ayoko talaga mag-epidural, iniisip ko kasi di naman uso yun dati  pero kinaya naman ng ating mga lola , unless ma-CS ako syempre. Im due to give birth Oct 16.

^sis I gave birth without epidural may nabasa kasi ako na iba daw talaga pag natural birth without epidural so nagmaganda ko nung tinanong ako if I wanted epidural sabi ko hindi kaya ko pa, when I asked for the epidural na coz sobrang sakit na talaga, hindi na daw pwede kasi baka daw magroggy na ang baby... so yun all natural ang delivery ko ramdam ko talaga lahat ng sakit..

I'm giving birth in Jan and I definitely will go for epidural na, hindi na ako magmamaganda hahaha.

^LOL sis, ako magmamaganda rin at hindi hihingi ng epidural, bahala na hahaha. So hindi na nag-charge ng PF si anesthesiologist sis? thanks

hi sis artisan, if yung purpose mo is to have hubby with u when you give birth, di naman na kailangan yun lamaze kasi sa delivery room pinayagan naman kame. but if want mo privacy, worth it naman ang lamaze kasi from labor to delivery special treatment ka.

Hi po I'm on my 37th week na po tomorrow. Pero I'm 3cm na dilated na po. Ngayon lang po namin nalaman na pwede ang installment sa Medical City with BPI credit card, eh [textspeak!] OB ko po eh affiliated lang sa Delgado, gusto ko magswitch sa Medical City. Sino po kaya recommended OB niyo po [textspeak!] mura lang po sana  ang PF and san po ang clinic na niya dito sa QC po ako nakatira near UP Diliman and how much po ang dapat bayaran namin upon admission? Gusto ko mag avail ng package nila, for NSD hopefully, may Philhealth po ako. Thank you po in advance.

You need to pay 20K upon admission.
I recommend my OB, Dr. Rowena Rivera.
Mura lang PF nya considering head sya ng OB department.

@sweetscience I forgot na same ob tayo! Kaya when I read your post here saying na ob mo is pgh/ cardinal / st lukes global alam na! Hehe dra aguilar scheduled us for cs na kasi breech si baby. Originally opted for cardinal but right after she scheduled us natakot ako bigla sa gastos! My friend mentioned rates ng tmc kaya the very next day we checked out their packages and facilities sa ward, ok naman samin ni hubby. Bigger than we expected actually, yun nga lang downer na isang chair lang for bantay. Monday namin pinuntahan si doc para magpapalit ng admitting letter. Grabe kung sa cardinal as in letter lang sa tmc isang buong envelope! Detailed, sabi ni doc buti na lang kinareer niya baby book ko.. according to her sec (si lizette sa cardinal ) pwede naman daw si doc for tmc package. Ang kulit ko nga lang kay hubby kasi I was asking him to double check with the hospital or her secretary to ask if true na kasama yung pf at wala na dagdag.Praning lang talaga. Ayun scheduled na kami nov 5 ng 7am, ward package. Getting ready na with packing and trying to figure out what to bring problem ko pano makakatulog si hubby sleeping bag ba or padala ako folding.. hehe baka masikip kapag folding ang dalhin namin... anyway both tayo nov bigyan kita feedback!
