hi sisses! i'm on my 27th week tomorrow and torn pa rin ako to give birth in TMC or sa hospital sa may marikina. practicality side of me, syempre sa cheaper hospital pero super gusto ko talaga sa TMC. we need to decide by end of the month kung saan ba talaga and si OB di rin accredited sa TMC so if ever dito ako manganak, have to change OB pa. hingi lang sana ako ng latest birth expense lalo na sa mga recent lang nanganak for NSD and CS and kung nag-avail kayo ng birthing package or not. maarte lang kasi si hubby gusto nya private room. naalala ko kasi cousin ko, sa birthing ward sya nagstay ok naman. 1st baby kasi namin and even si [textspeak!] gusto nya sa "high-end" na hospital. nanghihinayang lang kasi din ako sa gastos....kaloka! :p

Hi sis! gave birth last Sept. 29, 2012 at TMC umabot ng 120k bill ko including the prof. fees of OB,Anes and Pedia. We didn't avail their package. I used the Lamaze Room during my labor and nung nganganak na ko then Transfer kami sa private room worth 3,500. Super alaga naman ako nung mga nurses and doctors kaya hindi na din ako nang hinyang sa 120k. Btw, NSD ako

If everyone supports you to give birth in tmc i highly recommend it, you get what you have paid for im sure sure'll be treated well.

If only the money i have prepared for this pregnancy wasnt used up for another expenditure & if my in-laws have not got into the way of choosing where Im going to give birth, I have chosen TMC 101%

sis OB ko kasi accredited sa St. Victoria tapos I read sa smart parenting about VT Maternity Hospital. ganda din naman kasi reviews on both hospital and budget-wise ok din. yun nga lang, sobrang I'm leaning on TMC kasi my goodness..laki ng price difference hehe!

ava_camille kapag lamaze room ba dapat may lamaze class muna? kasi no idea naman ako sa lamaze nagbubudget ako ng 150k pero isip ko kasi sana less than dun ang magagastos namin para kung malaki matira yun na gagamitin sa binyag.

I'm currently at 30 weeks at nag scout kami ng mga pwedeng Hospital. We went na sa TMC and did an occular visit sa lamaze room nila. Sagot ni company ang delivery upto a maximum of 150k. Mga sis sa palagay niyo ba kakasya na ito kahit kunin pa namin [textspeak!] lamaze room?ang worry ko kasi eh baka mag over kami sa 150k eh syempre as much as possible ayaw ko na mag cash in pa kami ni hubby..pero gusto ko din kasi talaga na kasama siya habang nag dedeliver ako..

^sis, if there are no complications, kasya na ang 150k with the use of lamaze room.

^^sis, you don't need to attend the attend the lamaze class so you can use the room.

Anyone who has availed of tmc's birthing package? I hope you wont mind sharing  how much your total bill is?

Im no particular with the ward room so long as we'll be comfortable.

I gave birth at TMC rin last nov 27, NSD. Total bill is around 112k. My insurance covers large private but since there was no room available that time, we were upgraded to a junior suite with no incremental cost. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. We were offered pa this membership to avail of 7% discount. We ended cashing out around 2k which was not covered by my insurance.

Interested ako magpunta kay Drs. Judy Ong-Fuentes or Rowena Rivera. Kaya lang hindi kaya super mahal ng singil nila sa delivery? Anyone have an idea kung magkano sila sumingil sa delivery kung hindi ward package ang kukunin?

Baka kasi himatayin ako sa PF nila, hehe. Pero gusto ko sana OB na magaling talaga. I don't mind na strict. Ok lang din sa kin na sermonan ako; basta magaling, nagmo-monitor talaga during labor/delivery/post-delivery, and hindi mukhang pera.

Mga sis question po sa nag-avail ng ward delivery package ng TMC. Kasi ang normal nila is nasa 55k, maaawas pa po dyan ang philhealth? Or yung quote nilang yan is less philhealth na? Di ko kasi natanong sa kanila

^Sis di pa ko nakasubok pero based na nabasa ko sa ibang forums/blogs, maliit lang bawas ng PhilHealth. I forgot kung P3,000 or P6,000, something like that. Tsaka prepare ka din mas malaking amount kasi complications may arise anytime and baka biglang ma-emergency CS ka (hopefully not).

Hi mga sis!
I'm new to this site.  I would like to ask kung may kumuha sa inyo kay Dra. Jocelyn Bambalan para maging OB.  I'm on my first month and siya ang kinuha ko kasi Perinatology talaga siya, which means OB talaga para sa pagbubuntis.  Although konti pa lang nababasa ko na reviews sa kanya.
Anyway, I'm planning to get the CS package of The Medical City.  :-)

hi! nag-email ako sa TMC asking for their Delivery Packages. tapos nakita ko sa BPI na pwede installment sa TMC. isip ko in case na kulangin cash namin gamitin ko BPI. may nakapagtry na ba sa inyo ng ganon set-up? humingi na rin pala ako list ng doctors na pwede for their packages. sino ba mare-recommend nyo na OB? just in case lang na di talaga pwede OB ko sa TMC, I might have to change OBs and to think 7 mos na ko

I gave birth last sat in tmc availed of the nsd package (minus philhealth).
It was God's grace & the best decision from God's leading..

Change of ob 3days before giving birth..
I was supposed to be induced with 0cm with my former ob & orienting me of a probability of having C-section. This is when we got a second opinion from a tmc ob-sono-perinatologist, dr. Zarinah gonzaga she helped me to fully dilate & have my baby delivered via nsd. We are so thankful of her!


The package/ward room wasnt bad at all, it served all our needs. We spent almost 50k+.

^ i used my bpi card too but for the 20k deposit only.

^ yes sis.. You wont regret it! TMC is incomparable to the initial hospital we're supposed to go.

Mga sis how is the Newborn Screening result in TMC ba?
My mil keeps on bugging me that there's a result that i need to get after 2 weeks or so.. Hubby didnt mention it naman, wala rin ako matandaan na pinagbilin ng nurse..

If you did not receive a call in two weeks time, ibig sabihin okay ang result, nothing to worry about, if you want to see it though, the result will be forwarded sa pedia after two months
