Isotretinoin: Acnetrex / Accutane / Roaccutane Thread 2

I used isotretinoin for 10 months (68 klos ako), then stop na last year, sabi ni dermatologist, enough and never na daw ako magpimples, after that may pasulpot sulpot na isa before ako magka monthly period pero dedma lang , then last week nagfreak out na ako kasi dumami na sya so balik ako kay derma, pinaulit nya ako, this time 30mg per day, then i have to take it for 7 months.

Nasad ako promise  sabi sa akin last time, 'lifetime' wala ng pimples then eto sya ulit, so pwedeng after 7 month then hinto balik nanaman

^^ Talaga sis? Nag second cycle ka ulit? ako din, pa-isa isang pimple lang naman ang sakin... nag-purge ka ba ulit ng mga cystic acnes?

my derma prescribed acnetrex last year. 10mg/day. natakot ako mag-take kaya heto nagsisisi na ko. sana tapos na ko. uwi siguro ko ng pinas before the year ends. i'll see my derma and try acnetrex. sana lang wag grabe purging ko kasi sayang vacation ko, baka mangyari magtatago ako sa friends ko. sana pagbalik ko dito clear na skin ko.

Hi sisters. Im about to end my 1st month of taking Isotretinoin tommorow. Does it affect pag di kagad ako nakaka take the next day? Like may 2 days intervals minsan if i run out of caps eh. Does it affect?

And oh, my face looks terrible. Full of chismis!  Im so grossed out whenever I look in the mirror. Good thing I read your posts in thread 1 and here, I was atleast brightened up by some of your posts.

^Sis, my derma advised me na before i run out of roaccutane, magpacheck na ulit sa kanya with the blood exam results pra hindi mapuputol yung pag-inom ng gamot. i guess nawawala sa bloodstream natin yung gamot kasi napuputol yung pag-inom kapag nagmimiss ng days.

I have had it with pimples. nakakainis na talaga.
It's been more than 6 months since I finished taking acnetrex.
ok naman talaga results. but feb this year nagstart na ko mag breakout ulit. I thought summer kasi, baka normal lang. now it's practiacally july already, I still breakout (mga 4 pimples sabay) and they're not the small type. parang every other day may bago na naman.

My derma said baka I have super active oil glands. So we're planning to take 6 mos. acnetrex again. bad trip. sabi ko baka after that magbreakout din ako ulit so what's the use... but I really want to not worry about my skin anymore so I'm taking it again. bahala na

hi sis crissy808 yung 6mos mo ba na intake every day 1 tablet lang? my derma also advise me to take kaso hessitant pa talaga kc natatakot ako maglabasan pimps katulad ng mga story ng mga sisses natin thanks sis

^ yes, I was taking 1 tablet per day. Low dosage lang daw ako

mga sis i stoppe dusing acnetrex for almost 2 weeks yata meron pa ko kasi natitira what if i use it magkakapimples kaya ako like purging stage?

hi, pa join.....i just want to share mine.....

i had my roaccutane treatment last 2007 , at first takot ako kc nag research ako, ang daming side effects, worst is suicide daw and birth defects, anyway i took the risk kc i am already tired of dealing with my pimples which had gotten worst at that time due to pressure sa work.....1st i had a complete blood test for the doctor to asses if ok yung body ko for that medicine, 1st month- namaga face ko kc daming lumabas na pimples, parang letchon face ko, ganun daw talaga effect nun, i put moisturizer to lessen the dryness tsaka mild na facial wash ..2nd month- same as 1st month , 3-4th month- nag start ng mag fade yung mga pimples, wala na rin yung redness....5-6th month- ayun nag heal na, nawala na pimples ko, i used cream para mawala yung mga scars tsaka para magpantay yung kulay...

grabe before i finished the treatment, i am totally healed...daming nagulat sa kin, para daw nanalo sa lotto yung face ko..hanggang ngayon wala ng pimples, hindi na oily, nag clear pa face ko as in no blackheads..plus may bonus pang natural na rosy cheeks......

kaya sa mga friends jan....kaya nyo yan..i know the pain na kung minsan nakaka affect emotionally yang mga pimples na yan....mawawala din yan......

^Ako rin sis, in the process of dealing with the scars. wala ng pimples and super ingat na ko sa makeup. But then yun nga, medyo malalim talaga yung naiwan na scars. And I can't have it peeled kasi sabi ng derma ko, dapat one week akong walang pasok kung gusto kong magpa-peel. Syempre, ayoko din naman pumasok na nagbabalat face ko. hehe

I'm done with acnetrex.  I think it's been 4 months na since ive finished my last box. Eto ngayon, may pimples ulit. huhuhu. Pero when I was taking this, okay talaga, nag clear. So I don't know where to go since bumalik lang din.
