^Sis, hindi kita matutulungan which is better kasi i took roaccutane. pero iniinom ko sya after lunch, after the fullest meal of the day ko. Kasi nakaka-help daw yung fats sa meals maabsorb yung gamot. Though hindi rin pwede na super fatty ng meal kasi baka tumaas naman cholesterol mo. I hope I helped.

hi sis, meron akong konting scars, mababaw lang, pero i think yung scars na yun before pa ako nag treatment, kc sa sobrang depressed ko non, pini prick ko pimples ko tsaka kung ano ano ginagamit ko non, lumala lang.

natatakpan naman ng face powder, daming treatment ngayon sis para sa mga scars, mawawala din yan.

June 23, 2009 - My first day of Acnetrex treatment. Prior to acnetrex, I have undergone series of Chemical peels, Diamond peels, Acne Surgery, Tertralysal, Facials, facial and tons of facials! Derma creams, commercialized creams and high-end creams did nothing on my acne...

Month 1. Intensive purging. Super dry lips (I always put petroleum jelly!), Super red acne! Super red face!

Month 3: Acne subsided. Though my face and the acne are still red but flat.

1 year after. This is my skin condition now. No more acne but I have a lot of scarring. But it's ok, I'll try fraxel or dermaroller.

wow sis purple_passion thanks for the pics mukhang monitored mo talaga yung face mo ha nakakainspire naman yung acnetrex. kc yung derma ko sabi mas powerful daw ang acutrex ero di ko alam talaga eh.kc nakaubos na ako ng isang box ng acnetrex tapos naubusan c dra ng stock so she gve me acutrex muna. hehe

so hndi ko alam kung magkaiba ba sila ng effect sa akin pero ill monitor.

so far sis anong treatment mo na now? 2weeks ka ba laging tca? dr? dp? thanks sis

Yes, grabe ang monitor ko niyan Even my derma asked for these pics for reference purposes daw And grabe talaga ang kalbaryo ko dito mare, nawala talaga ang self esteem ko!

I'm not familiar sa acutrex eh... Pareho lang naman siguro sila? hehe wala ka bang purging? I advise you to do the same, kunan mo pics ang face mo para makita mo ang results

Sa ngayon, gamit ko Body Shop Shiso products - Cleanser, Toner and Night Cream. I use sunblock too, yung may mattifying effect kasi naging oily na ako ulit eh...

Di ako nagpapa-peel sa ngayon eh.. para makatipid narin at isahang treatment nalang through dermaroller or fraxel. Pero baka dermaroller nalang muna ako kasi wala pang fraxel services dito sa Davao eh. Plan ko nga lumipad pa ng Manila para magpa-consult kay Dr Aivee Aguilar Teo. I heard magaling daw siya sa Acne scar treatment Pero ang maintenance ko ngayon eh IV Gluta gluta gluta! Gusto ko kasi pumuti yung mga scars. In fairness, bumababa ang mga scars ko. Sabi ng derma ko, through the help of Acnetrex din daw iyan kasi namiminimize daw ang lalim ng scars pag naka-acnetrex. And tama nga si Doc kasi pansin ko, mas shallow na yung scars ko nung naka-acnetrex ako kesa sa scars ko before taking acnetrex

my derm prescribed acnetrex. but only 20mg/day.

i am

Lower-dosage treatments, such as 10–20 mg/day (approximately half the high dosage treatments above), are also highly effective, with greatly diminished side-effects. However, such lower dosage courses may be associated with higher relapse rates requiring additional courses of isotretinoin, especially if not taken for sufficient time.

my derm wants me to take the low-dosage for 4 months only!
it's too low, don't you think? lower dosages for a normal cycle (3-6 mos) will only guarantee 60% remission...so may 40% chance na bumalik.

i would like to trust my doctor, but i'm not comfortable with the dosage. I tried opening up the matter but she says I should be fine with it. I would like some input from you guys, maybe your derm is more knowledgeable on this matter..

Low dosage din ako for 4 months. Nasa instructions din ng isotretinoin na 16 to 20 weeks ang therapy. And depende din sa weight, may computation kasi. Pero kasi if hindi naman worse case yung iyo, ayos lang na low dosage lang. I took it for 4 months, 20mg na roaccutane per day and my case then was pretty bad. ended last june 27. ayos pa ko until now, with maintenance na lang from my derma. mahirap din kasi na masyadong matagal, aside sa magastos, super dry mo na. try mo na lang muna sis, if after nung prescribed period na, okay naman na, sunod ka na lang sa kanya. malamang naman if hindi ka pa okay, dadagdagan niya.  Then take good care of your skin na after to prevent din na bumalik.

I'm just a stickler for textbook procedure. There's a proper way in taking the isotret and it's the cumulative dose.

I've decided to bring articles with me on my next visit. it might enlighten her. To make the treatment right on the first go. It's more expensive and draining to repeat it! And I've read alot of horror stories about relapses. Like, their skin is fab for a few months up to a couple of years..then the nightmare catches up on you. That's really sad

6 months din ako nag take ng acnetrex, pero tapos na ko ngayon, 2 months ago pa ko natapos. so far, no acne.. parang gusto ko na sabihin na effective nga talaga ang acnetrex, pero imonitor ko pa rin hanggang maka 1 year na. pag hindi pa rin ako inatake ng pimples, effective nga talaga. ang napansin ko lang is ang oily ko now, before kasi dry ang skin ko, but im just not sure kung side effect ito ng isotret or dahil sa chemical peel. nagkakaroon lang ako ng whiteheads pero pa isa isa lang at manageable naman, unlike before na ang lalaki talaga pimples ko, will update you again sisses! maybe after 2 months again

i hope you girls could help me out. I feel really bad about my pimples and the redness of my face... to the point na naiiyak nalang ako. its not as bad as wala na mapaglagyan pero its terrible kasi di nako makalabas ng bahay ng walang make up. nakakalungkot

Im experiencing acne or a lot of pimples, and read here and in the other threads that this roaccutane helps clear the skin up.

yung derma ko kasi binigyan ako ng mga gamot: erythromycin lotion, aha cream, tretinoin .05% and benzoyle peroxide.

this is a new doctor and the old one whom gave me a diff. set of meds which felt more effective is unavailable.

1. totoo bang pagbigla dumami [textspeak!] pimple sa meds dapat maghintay at sa una lang yun? (if yes, bakit may mga set of meds na nakakadry  agad ng pimple?)

yun kasi lagi nila sinasabi na dadami muna tapos bigla mawawala totoo ba [textspeak!] yan? or lumipat nalang ulit ako ng derma?

its my second week taking this acnetrex.. 2X a day and mejo... okie na  ko sa result... i have to visit my derma.. sa monday.. wondering what next..
level na ko.....pimple scars.. namn susunod na prob... Actually, my friend give me free 2 sessions of diamond peel..sa clarity wondering kung.. pwede ba kong mag pa diamond... peel?
