^^ I read somewhere na affiliated daw ng La Salle ang Theresian School of Cavite. Not really sure though. Pero may friend ako na graduate jan, ok naman daw.. infairness, successful sya ngayon.

^ Fairwoods Clubhouse sis merong swimming lesson every summer. Fairwoods Subd is in Bahayang Pag-asa just in case you're not familiar. Or try to inquire in Citta Italia Clubhouse mas malapit ka dyan usually sa clubhouse ng mga subdivisions merong mga swimming lessonstwing summer inquire ka na lang sis. HTH


And to others who have been asking for best school in Cavite...my best bet is Elizabeth Seton School in Anabu and 2nd is Divine Light Academy in Molino.

Sis Dyann, dati naginquire kami sa St. Therese de Lisieux inside Orientville, mga ganyan ang range. Nearer us meron din mga options, Newville Academy ganyan. Kaya lang baka malayo sayo.

We went to SV montessori the other day, P20,860 ang cash for senior casa (4.5 yo).
Hindi ganun kaganda ang facilities (canteen, stage area), pero ok naman. Mabait yung nasa office, si Ms. Jona. Then inassess ang son ko sa casa room, maayos naman kausap si Teacher Helen, and nasasagot nya mga tanong ko about anong skills ang kailangan nila sa bata for senior casa, and kung anong goal nila by the end of the school year. Her answers were basically the same sa mga alam kong skills na nirequire at tinarget din sa school ng panganay ko (CELL) when he was in preschool. So I think we will settle with SV na for preschool, then saka na mag-decide for gradeschool, kung ok maging naman edi tuloy na hanggang GS. Some of my cousin's friends dito nag-graduate ng GS, hindi naman daw nahirapan nung lumipat sa big school (Divine Light) for HS. May free summer classes din sila, regular rate is 5k but if mag-eenroll naman kayo free na yun.

We also went to St. Jerome (P29,307) and St. Thomas (P28,985).
Ok ang St. Jerome, it's a big school and we know some people na doon nag-graduate. My cousin also came from this school before going to Southridge for HS, hindi naman sya nahirapan.
St. Thomas naman, hindi ko gusto that it's along Avenida Rizal, which is a very busy road, and yet their gates are always open.

How's CELL lately? Is it still as good as before? Nagpareserve na kami ng slot for K1. We're from San Miguel Molino area. Kaya we inquired the availability of school service, and it's 2500 per month. We can pay for 5 months para malibre si yaya daw.

^preschool is still ok, pero GS medyo hindi, masyado mataas expectations sa mga bata, akala yata nila HS na. And other issues pa regarding behaviors, naka-mainstreaming kasi anak ko, pero even the other (regular) kids dami nila issues, gusto yata puro perfect/robot mga bata. Tapos pag conferece parang hindi sila open to feedbacks etc. kasi parang sila ang laging tama/perfect at parents ang may pagkukulang. May instances pa nasigaw at nagbabato ng chalk sa teacher's table ang teacher kapag mainit ang ulo, though I think ngayon hindi na or nabawasan na, dahil na din siguro marami ng parents na yan ang issues sa kanila. Anyway, tuloy pa rin kami dun kasi mahirap mag-hanap ng school lalo na mainstreaming, malaki na rin improvement ng son ko kasi sanay na sya doon since K1, and he's happy there kasi hindi naman nya alam yung mga "behind the scenes" na issues sa school.

Quality of education is great, marami talaga natututunan, high standards and all. I hope the issues I mentioned ay unti-unting maayos nila.

Preschool maganda, iba naman preschool teachers from GS teachers, go for it, happy din kami nung preschool

^thanks sis for the feedback. We'll try for a year muna and if we can see she likes it, hanggang k2 I guess. I want holistic development, not purely academics for pre-school kaya CELL first choice ko. January pa lang nagpareserve na kami ng slot for K1 dahil baka maubusan.

We are considering Statefields or Westhill for grade school naman since we are near pa-Dasma.

I wanted to ask help sana. sino dito may feedback sa holy redeemer school na malapit sa memorial sa dasma? also, st. peter chanel and st. pancras sa seaman's village. we just moved in sa paliparan eh. my son will be grade 1 sa june and I'm looking for good schools, eto yung malapit sa amin na narinig ko eh. thank you mga sis!
