PLAYSCHOOLS IN PQUE / ALABANG / LAS PINAS

My son goes to JMS Jose Maria Montessori @bf. The school is good,1year pa lang kiddo ko dun and he.knows already how to read. Maganda training and environment coz all the kids speak english. Hands on sila sa materials. Am not sure if this is the thread,but i answered queries of some of the mommies here and yung nag personal message sakin but sad to say after ilang send ko ng personal mesaages,biglang ayaw na mag send,sori for that.
Yung method of teaching nila is not like the traditional,the kids are group having 4-5members each depending on kung ano na nagagawa nila,so they have a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5.they have materials like beads for  math kaya madali ma-grasp ng kiddo ko yung place valuebago pa yung mga materials nila kaya the kids can really appreciate and its complete.
Tuition last year when i first enrolled is 48k but ngayon daw mag increase daw sila to 52k yata

According to my friend whose daughter went to Kencare, tuition was P45,000 but that was 2 years ago. Baka nasa P50,000 na.

I scouted for schools 2 weeks ago in BF resort:

Jose Maria Montessori 52k
Kencare 41, 130
Merry Treasure 35,000 (without books and misc. fees)
Creative Middle School 59, 265
Seton 47, 500

That's the rate for nursery on cash basis. HTH

^okay din daw sa wishbone based sa co-parent ko sa school. and cheaper tuition fee. no personal experience naman sorry.

my daughter went to Merry Treasure School for pre-school. Just had an immediate decision with hubby to transfer her to Divine Light Academy though we initially planned na sa high school na lang sya itransfer dun. luckily naman she passed the entrance exam so ayun DLA na sya.

Actually, i just got a groupon for this kasi i really just wanted to see if my daughter would like it. She's only 18m old and since 4k+ lang for a 3-week session, bumili ako. We started last May 2 lang, we go MWF 1030-12. I work mid-shift so at least i can go with her to school.

I'm thinking if we should enrol her na this June. My husband thinks it's too early for her so we havent made a final decision yet. We'll see until the end of the 3-week session. Pero parang playschool lang naman pa kasi siya kaya medyo torn pa ako.

But next year, June 2013, we'll deinitely enol her na. My first choice is Abba's orchard mckinley hill but we'll see pa if we can manage abba's in alabang. Ang layo kasi. We live in better living and my husband and i both work in mckinley hill.

Has anyone seen abba's in alabang? They said it's big daw, parang orchard talaga like their other branch in mindanao.

I enrolled my 2.3y.o son to a toddlers class in Kinder Care inside BF. All my other nieces and nephews went there, except for my older son who went to Virgin Mary Immaculate in Ayala Alabang. Wasnt able to send my little boy there this year because their minimum age for pre-nursery is strictly 2.5y.o. For Kinder will transfer him to a big school where he will finish HS.

I actually just realized and feel that I might have enrolled him too early. With all this K12 confusion, I thought that it is still required to go through Prep (renamed Kinder 2 by some schools), it turns out it'll just be Nursery, Kinder then straight to Grade 1 (relabeled Prep).

My son also went to toddlers at 18 mos. We chose the saturday playgroup to be less stressful for him.More than 3 mos. din nagrun yung program (we started january and ended around march).  We were satisfied naman and I liked teacher Gila, another plus pa sa akin nun kasi sobrang konti nila, may times na mag-isa lang sya.pinakamarami na yung tatlo sila.We did not continue the program after finishing the term 'coz my son changed his mood..suddenly, he didn't want to enter the premises anymore, so teacher Gila told us to take a rest from the playgroup (which I really appreciated, I knew she was concerned more for my son rather than the fees she could potentially collect at the time).  Eventually, I enrolled him to a nearby playschool.

As to Abba's Orchard @ Evia, the farm campus is still in construction stage.AFAIK, they temporarily hold classes in fernbrook gardens basement.They told me that the main campus will be finished by next school year (apparently, Villar has to construct the road leading to the campus pa).  The future school site is actually in daang-hari.

^ thanks for the info on abba's. early this year, i read from one of my yahoogroups that parent orientation sessions were happening at the abba's campus in april in preparation for june classes. hindi pala natuloy?

we decided not to enrol my daughter na muna this school year. next yeat na lang. but maybe we'll try kindermusik later this year.

^^Actually, they opened classes for this school year but they're holding it inside fernbrook gardens, basement level 'coz the actual farm campus is physically absent pa.  I'm curious how the farm campus would look like actually, unfortunately, they have issues pa with the road (although Villar promised to deliver the road in time for next school year's opening). Last time din, wala pa akong nakikita na physical structure dun sa sinasabi nilang site.

I got invitations for their summer class and parent orientation too, but I decided to wait till next year na lang.  Interested to enroll my son in their summer or enrichment classes pero gusto ko pagtapos na yung main campus..kasi yun naman talaga nagugustuhan kong concept nila.

Try Young Creative Minds in Madrigal Business Park -- right across the park itself. You can ask for a trial class, but make sure to book early. Personally know the directress and teachers there. They're really good.

Sa GCF naman nasa P40-50K ata.

if you're looking for a preschool in the las pinas/bf homes paranaque area, try Mindbuilders Preschool on Tropical Avenue. my son goes there for regular preschool and he's often been commended by strangers we meet everywhere because he's very friendly. he's often asked if he goes to school and where and the strangers always think he's in prep already. Mindbuilders encourages the children to express themselves, to share stories, to read, to be analytical and have fun in everything the do.
The school is also family-centered. They encourage parents to volunteer for show and tell, and even have home visits. we love Familympics (sportsfest for the MB families)! it allows us to bond with our children and the other families too. the administrators are always attuned to the kids and very easy to talk to. the teachers are accomodating, straightforward and caring towards the children. even the teacher aides are loved by the kids!
another event the school has is the Christmas show. Every child gets to be on stage! this has been our highlight for Christmas the past 2 years. 
Their tuition is mid-range, compared to the other pre schools in BF. P60k a year.
mindbuilders also offer kindermusik and my daughter has been attending it since she was 2 months old! my son started Kindermusk when he was 5 mos old too. both of them are the opposite of shy and are very independent.

hi sis, im from las pinas also.. why dont you try witvine tutorial center sa may verdant at the back of HS building... not as sikat na tulad ng school in alabang or ATC but i assure you magagaling ang mga teachers... very cheap ang tuition fee... nung time ng anak ko 1100/month - 3 x a week...

My daughter is currently taking summer class in Brentwoods Learning Center in Naga rd, but shes always bored with the class. Probably i taught her the basic alphabets and numbers at an early age. Now im planning to enrol her on Merry Treasure School in bf resort. But im still searching other options.

hays problemado na ako..I was set to put my daughter na sa walking distance na small school sa loob ng village namin, kasi natatakot ako ilabas siya sa village sa ibang schools kc wala naman akong yaya na nagtatagal..I'm scared of the security risk..hindi naman pwede mama ko coz she has her own work..hays pano na ito..
