hi mga sis, just want to share :)

I started feeling nauseous at about 6 weeks, at first sa morning lang tapos naging whole day sickness na din eventually. Hindi naman ako everyday nagsusuka, pero palagi akong naduduwal and nahihilo and nanghihina...for lack of a better comparison, I would describe it as a really bad hangover that doesn't subside, haha. Tapos lahat na lang mabaho - especially fish and garlic, tapos pati fabric softener, perfume, even soap and shampoo! Tapos starting nung 10th week ko until now in my 16th week, almost everyday na ako nagsusuka, sometimes twice a day pa. I've heard of "morning sickness" from others, pero di ko akalain na ganito kahirap! I actually lost weight too, and my OB stopped my vitamins muna, kasi lalo akong nasusuka after i drink it.

To ease the discomfort, I eat bland food...crackers, toast with a little cheese, yung walang smell and walang lasa na baka magtrigger ng vomiting. And i drink a lot of iced tea na madaming madaming ice! :) yun lang nagpapasaya sa akin :)

I read somewhere that ginger is good nga daw, try ginger ale or ginger candy.

Good luck to us girls! :) hang in there!

Saludo talaga ako sa mga mommies that survive "all day sickness" especially those that experience hyperemesis gravidarum.  When I was going thru this phase I really appreciated my mom even more.  Tinext ko tlaga sha one really bad day just to say thank you and I love her.   My only comfort during that time is that at least my hormones are still strong and baby is okay.   Now that I'm 22 weeks I don't have morning sickness anymore but sometimes I get motion sickness (Pag long drive) and yun vomit ulit but not as bad as before.  Iba talaga yung level ng intensity ng first four months.  One good thing pala when you vomit at least you don't have to worry about weight gain right away :) I actually lost weight during the first four months pero now super nagggain nako and my OB is actually telling me to cut down on the calories na kasi ang bilis ko din mag gain.

Hang in there ladies!

hello moms-to-be

i'm on my 7th week na and thankfully I’m not suffering any morning sickness. Though in the morning medyo nahihilo ako but not to the point of vomiting. My only tight spot is when I’m already hungry, kasi nanghihina talaga ako to the point na feeling ko I will pass out. At night naman medyo hirap ako makatulog kasi masakit yung lower back part ko and parang namamanhid paa ko. :(

Hang in there moms-to-be :) I used to have  "all day sickness" din during my 1st trimester of pregnancy (7th to 14th week) and was even confined in the hospital due to excessive vomiting, just keep in mind that too shall pass... don't know if may connect, ginawa Ng mom ko nun before finally naging ok ako, pinaliguan Nya ko 3 consecutive days. As per our etchuserang kapitbahays-1st 3 buhos, mama ko tapos nung 4th day nga gumaang yung pakiramdam ko so Hindi ko lang sure if dahil sa paliligo or nataon lang na naka-pass na ko sa phase heheh
Para iwas boredom, since nd na din ako naka-work since then dahil nga sa hirap paglilihi: read ako ng pregnancy books, dito sa GT and plan ahead Ng baby things na I-shop ko once I get better  ;) Basta happy thoughts lang sis and communicate with baby :)

Hi All!

I have terrible morning sickness also.  I am on my 8th week.

Where can you buy the acupressure bands here in the Philippines? Does it really work?

sisters, i want to give up on this pregnancy because of morning sickness.  for more than 2 months, i've been suffering na talaga.  i'm now 13 weeks pregnant, yet i still abhor the smell of several foods...i even abhor how my husband smells!  I also find it difficult to take a bath because I don't like the smell of shampoo and soap.  parang hindi ko na ma-imagine how it is to have a normal life. feeling ko, hindi na to matatapos.  i've been feeling depressed kasi nakakulong lang sa kwarto.  I dread going out of the room and my husband's entering our room because i'm afraid of what i'll smell.

i feel so miserable.  :'(

Hello sisters!  I think I'm cured na!
Just a few days ago na-confine pa ako sa hospital for 2 days.
I don't eat and I don't drink vitamins because I throw up.

Hay, people say ako daw yung nakita nilang pinakanahirapan sa pregnancy.  THank God and praise Him mukhang tapos na.  Laway na lang problema ko.

Thanks sa support sisters!

^Yes sis, dextrose.  I also wanted na yung dextrose sa house na lang because I don't like being in the hospital (maingay, mabaho, not comfy, etc.) but my doctors won't allow it.  Buti sa yo payag.

^hanap ka ng private nurse...i think ang rate ay 600/day.  Kung ganun lang baka mas makatipid ka.  Kasi ako, 2 days 2 nights lang, mga 12thou nagastos.  :P
