IBM meron Six Sigma. Naging yellow belt ako sa kanila kaso di ko na natuloy since I left the company.

If someone is planning to take the certification test for Black Belt, you should brush up on your Stat knowledge. Majority of the questions are based on Statistics.

Mron ba syang bearing sis pag nag apply ka sa ibang company? Im working for my yellow belt right now.. pero gusto n rin lumipat.. itong six sigma n lang ang pumipigil saken.. kasi nanghihinayang din ako s certification.

I've been certified yellow belt (company-sponsored, in-house) for over a year already but I've not been able to use it in my field of work (Human Resources) yet.

Or I've just been too busy to notice that it's being used (somehow) in the daily activities.

Based on my experience, meron. Maganda sya sa resume talaga. I highly recommend you go get your yellow belt. It will definitely help when you apply at companies that offer Six Sigma.

Eto sis, I just attended a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training at iAcademy School for Continuing Education (at Ayala Avenue, Makati City) and its all worth it!  I enjoyed all 4 days and the trainer was very good.  He made all lessons practical and less on statistics.  The trainer is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Last time I checked jobstreet and jobsdb (2 days ago, hahaha) I saw A LOT of six sigma vacancies and the problem according to the trainer, as the number of six sigma demand goes up, the number of certified professionals stay almost the same, kaya talaga pag meron kang certification, malaking leverage mo.

I'm interested to know who are six sigma practitioners here and in what industry are you practicing?

I received my green belt training and certification from my previous company (BPO) but i recently switched industries and now working in the retail industry.

I agree with kirara, you will need to brush up on your stat knowledge if you are going through a six sigma training.

I'm so excited to complete my project to get me certified.  They have a very good and charming trainer.  I hate math but he made all statistics/ math related topics practical and easy to understand.

They have the most affordable training fees  , and you get to have an 8 hour coaching session after the training to help you with your project.

Im from the BPO industry.

Search six sigma and you'll see its really in demand, the problem is, there are very few certified people in six sigma.

I received my green belt certification through an in-house training conducted in previous company (BPO).

I am however thinking of getting a certification from a training provider like iAcademy. Would you know if their apprenticeship for black belt already includes the training?
