parang gusto ko ding mag try mag solo travel. nagpabook ako going to coron on NOv 22-24 ng biglaan at hinabol ko din lang ang promo.. or baka may mga gusto ding pumunta sa inyo dun sa ganung dates.. sabay na lang tayo..

ako sa August pa Solo travel ko.. ngayon pa lang excited na ako.. ^_^
Sa bora lang muna ako.. gusto ko kasi magrelax ng walang itinerary..

wish ko lang magkaroon din ako ng mahabang leave para malayo mapuntahan ko.. kaso yung work ko mahaba na sobra ang leave na 4-5 days.. kaya relax relax na lang muna pinili ko sa 1st solo travel ko.. ^_^

^Solo travel din ako sis sa Boracay, this Feb5-6 na  Gusto ko sana mas matagal kaya lang hindi ako makapagleave sa office.

This will be my first time na magsolo travel. I'm excited pero kinakabahan. Everything's set na but there's a little part of me that still wants to back out

sa mga nag sosolo traveler dyan. how you carry yourself sa mga situation na awckward ang feeling because you're alone? like mag isa ka lang kumakain sa resto then mga kasabayan mo grpup sila or couple.

when I traveled alone last June (SG-Malaysia), I never felt that awkwardness thingy kahit mag-isang kumakain, mag-isang nakapila sa ride (USS), I even carry a tripod at mega pix pa ako hahaha
ang nasa isip ko lang minsan lang to, at di naman nila ako kilala ^^

but of course you still need to be alert & careful even safe yung pupuntahan nyong place/country!

What's best in traveling solo is that you have a lot of time to do what you want and no one will complain but only YOU ^^

I agree with sis esor na minsan-lang-to-di-naman-nila-ako-kilala thinking. During my solo adventure in  Europe, I met groups and couples who were surprised to know that I was traveling alone. Pero back in my hostel, my fellow roommates were solo female travelers din. We all share the same sentiment that traveling alone is actually and surprisingly enjoyable.

When I eat out alone, I don't feel awkward naman. Pero minsan, gusto ko rin ng kasama kumakain kasi madami akong gustong itry sa menu. OA naman kung oorderin ko lahat ng gusto ko pero di ko naman mauubos. hehe.

Most would think that the biggest disadvantage of traveling alone is that no one would take your picture. Absolutely not, in my experience. There are a lot of friendly strangers who would gladly take your picture, even more than once (you take their pic in return of course, hahaha). Most of the time, they'll talk to you and ask what brings to you to _____. Siguro mga 40-50 a day ang mga tao na humahawak ng camera ko dahil sa requests ko. Keri lang naman.

I super duper agree with this one 100000x. I've heard about this from solo travelers before pero iniisip ko na "positive angle" lang to dahil they traveled alone. Totoo pala. More time because you don't have to wait for someone else. All the decisions are yours. If you make the wrong decision, no one else will complain. Hahahaha!

Looking forward to my next solo travel in August. Solo pa ngayon so far.

Just booked tickets to Dumaguete-Siquijor for my first ever solo trip! Wooohoo!

Question, dun sa mga nagsolo trips sa beach, how did you secure your belongings? I'm planning to do a day trip to a beach, so walang hotel room na mapagiiwanan ng gamit.  Mahirap naman magswimming na dala ang camera. Unless underwater camera... ?

^^sis, nung nag solo trip ako sa samal island davao, nagpaiwan akong gamit sa reception nila. Pumayag naman sila. Ang iniwan ko lang sa table yun towel ko tsaka yun notebook and pen na dala ko. Though nung nag solo trip ako weekday yun kaya wala masyadong tao sa beach.

Sorry for the late reply sis. I stayed at Island Nook Hotel Totoo nga na Boracay is a good solo travel place. Maybe because of the bohemian beach spirit. I met a lot of solo travelers din, puro foreigners

Saan ka magstay in Boracay?

I'll be going to Cebu din Dec6-9. Kung walang makakasama, magiging solo travel ulit
