Hi. Newbie here.

I didn't went to an OB when I first took my althea pill. I took it on a sunday at hindi din po yun ang first day ng period ko. I'm completely healthy pero irreg minsan ang period. My bf and I had contact on the last day of my pill without condom pero he didn't ejaculate inside. Will I get pregnant po ba? Please help. I don't have time to buy PT for now. Safe pa din po ba ako? TIA

I used to take diane before and its side effects are nausea, headache. Then switch to a hormonal pill excluton which I think is good due to changes my skin complexion.
But due to my polycystic case, i opt to try charlize and so far wala naman side effects. Also it has a ferrous fumarate  that helps your iron supply in the body when you have your menses.

^hi sis aleesa1225 - ako so far okay naman, though i frequently feel like nahihilo o masakit ang ulo though not sure kung effect nga ba ng pills yun.. possible din kasi na iba ang cause like stress and sa mata..

Hi sissies! My son is already 1 yr and 6mos. Hubby kasi is working sa states so bihira lang din kami magkacontact siyempre. Eh this March uuwi na siya.. We don't want na masundan pa si baby so I'm planning to take pills na as early as now. I will be visiting my OB in the next week or so pero gusto ko sana makakuha muna ng info about sa pills para may masuggest din ako sakanya. Ayaw ko sana nung nakakataba na pills since I gained weight na due to pregnancy and hirap padin ako ibalik yung pre pregnancy body ko. TIA!

Sisses, I have a question.

I started a pack of Nordette without my OB's prescription. Eight days into it, I stopped taking it kasi hindi ko gusto side effects niya. It's been a week since I stopped, tapos when I woke up this morning, nagbbleed ako. As in heavy bleeding na parang regular menstruation, e this can't be it dahil dinatnan na ako first week of Feb.

'Yung pagbbleed ko ngayon, ito ba 'yung withdrawal bleeding?

i'm taking pills for almost 6months now. my problem is nun last time na delayed yun pag  take ko ng new set of my pills. my regularly sched of taking it is every 23 of the month. ehh this month nkapag take n ako march. 1. 5 days late sa regular sched ko... my worry is continue yung "do's" nmin ng partner ko since after matapos yung mens ko though withdrawal [textspeak!] kami. my chance ba na mag ka happy accident kmi? or makabuo kmi nun mga dates na  yun?

Same effect sis pero saken naman prescribed by my OB grabe ang feeling ng nausea nagigising ako ng madaling araw dahil dito and yes it's true less appetite di ako ginugutom much at di ako makakain ng marami kasi nga always ako nasusuka.

But my skin glows and boobs got bigger ayaw ko lang migraine minsan di na tolerable kasi sobrang masakit.

Hi sissies! I just have a question related to pills. I've never tried it, but I need to delay my period since I've got beach trips planned na matatamaan magkakaron ako so dyahe. Nag research ako sa net pwede daw pills, the trick is once you finish the 21 pills, you have to take another packet immediately, no more "placebo" period. Can anyone tell me if this works? I'll do this once lang naman, just to mess up my cycle. 2 beach trips within 2 months kasi tatamaan ng period ko if ever. Thanks!!

Hi sis, I've been taking pills for three years and this is what I do pag natatapat sa beach outing. hehe. Pero I won't suggest kasi it will mess up your cycle, but in my case it works, di ako nagkakaron pag wala akong pill break. Not sure lang if it's applicable to anyone.

Yup, it's completely fine. Doctor once told me that it's actually okay to not have your period for a maximum of 2 months. Sa loob ng 3mos, dapat at least maka-1 period ka para healthy. Hope this helps!

Ask ko lang po after ko makunan last December nagmicropil ako then a month after nagkamens ako ng mga almost 10 days pero very light then after 2 pack I switched to Sophia pero until now delayed pa din mens ko mag 3 months nakong delayed. Kinakabahan ako kung preggy ako pero wala naman akong signs na preggy ako. hndi pa kasi ako ready pero madalas magano bf ko sa loob pero alam ko na naitetake ko on time yung pills.

If you are not yet ready to get pregnant, don't do the deed anymore.  You should always be aware of the risks involved every time you do it.  You should be old and responsible enough to know these things

i took nordette last april and it messed up my cycle caused pain sa back and boobs plus the headache.  i went to OB and gpt checked , she said i should have not taken nordette kasi malakas daw yun and it does not go well with smoking. kaya pala me episodes ako ng hypertension. almost a month na akong walang pills hopefully maging ok na ulit cycle ko

one piece of advice: dont take pills without prescriptions, see your OB.

^for some yes, it does decrease libido. It does to me too. On my first 5 months of using Althea, I had no urge nor sex drive all the time and minsan while pumping nag ddry pa ko down there. So about 80% ng sexy times namin hindi ako nag eenjoy. After nung 5 months na yun I stopped na kasi nagkaron ako ng prob sa family ko so mga 3 months no contact kami ni bf. Sa loob ng 3 months na yun grabe bumalik lahat ng libido ko parang gusto ko rapin araw araw si bf hahaha. Then nag take ako uli ng Althea this month lang and I'm glad hindi nag decrease libido ko this time. We had unprotected sex on my 8th day, wihdrawal method but the last round he ejaculated inside (hindi napigilan lol). Enjoyed every minute of it! I'm not paranoid about getting preggy kasi I have faith in Althea as long as you take it right in time everyday.
