14 weeks in and I already had some stretch marks at the back of my knees, side of my boobs and groin area. Konti lang naman pero that got me worried. Now I really moisturize my whole body and not just my tummy, butt and thighs. Didn't think kasi na pati sa back of my knees magkakastretch marks to think I haven't even gained any weight and I'm 5 months in na.

I'm prone to stretchmarks but I don't have them on my tummy area even after pregnancy.

Pero sa ibang parts of the body meron ako. Siguro kasi bihira ako mag-lotion in those areas before. I had them when I was younger kasi nung college ako mabilis ako mag-gain/lose ng weight.

Kaya super pahid ako ng lotion nung preggy. I only used Lander Cocoa Butter.

^ What lotion did you use?  Sabi sakin to use shea butter to prevent stretch marks.  I am just using jargons right now kasi I have no time to buy other things for myself right now.  Hubby supports me naman when I mentioned that I might need to have fractional in case may stretch marks ako and then the venus freeze.

I used Lander sis. Yung cocoa butter. Pero yung aloe daw more on preventing or minimizing itchiness.

Coconut oil and olive oil. Lotion naman after bath.

I gave birth over a week ago. I didn't get any stretchmarks again (it was my 2nd pregnancy) even if I gave birth to twins this time (my first child was singleton).

As for moisturizer, I used The Body Shop's Cocoa Body Butter (yes, they're available again).

My tummy didn't balloon that much din. The doctor said I can eat sweets kasi ok naman sugar ko sa OGTT, but still I kept the sweets to the minimum level (tikim tikim lang per day). I really didn't want my babies to grow big in my tummy that I might not deliver them vaginally if they're too big.

Some people say it's hard to tell why some pregnant women get stretchmarks. :) Plus healthy diet of fruits and vegetables, and minimal intake of sweet and oily food, I think makakatulong sa paglessen ng probability na magka stretchmarks. :)

^ Maganda yata talaga for prevention of stretchmarks ang Cocoa Butter.

Anyway, there is no harm in doing it kahit nakaktamad.

i think this cannot be prevented anymore. kahit anong ipahid sa balat, lalabas at lalabas ang marks. nasa klase daw kasi talaga ng skin type ang pagkakaron neto, and genetics ang isang malaking factor.

^ sis ako prone sa stretchmarks. Nasa genes namin yun. Kahit bro ko meron when he lost weight. Like I said sa post ko meron ako sa ibang parts of the body. I had it when I was younger.

Siguro it's not really for preventing or avoiding; it's more for minimizing or having less visible stretchmarks. Kasi the drier the skin when stretched, the more marks ang lalabas.

This will help you avoid scratching your skin. Pero ako cocoa butter lang ginamit ko. Any brand siguro will do.

suwerte ng iba na maganda ang genes when it comes to skin talaga.

^ Correct sis.

Kainggit nga yung iba kahit wala gawin wala pa rin stretchmarks.
