lucky me wala din akong stretchmarks sa first pregnancy ko. maybe because hindi din ganon kalaki yung tummy ko while i was pregnant. i applied palmers cocoa butter pag sinisipag i dont know if it helped. but yung sa pag kamot ng tummy pag makati, i never did that talaga. feeling ko kasi yun yung nakaka cause eh. kaya whenever makati tummy ko i just apply cocoa butter to relieve the itchiness.

Still no stretchmarks @7.5 months! I added vitamin e oil to my almond and walnut oil regimen. I rub my tummy with the almond+walnut 3x a day, then i use vitamin E oil at night, after shower then massage my tummy for about 3 mins before the walnut+almond oil.

Sana makatulong, gusto ko pa mag-two piece after my pregnancy. Hihi!

My ob said it's more on genetics. If your mom has it, most probably daw you too will get stretchmarks. I worried a bit before kasi im so skinny, im like 88 lbs prepregnant kaya i was thinking kung pano mag-i-stretch skin sa tummy ko. Im now 33+ weeks but no strethmarks so far, sana tuloy tuloy na. My mom doesnt have it too so pwede ngang nasa genes.. Though im using palmer's tummy lotion since the first day i learned im pregnant, siguro that also helped..

Yes that's true but it's really mostly on the elasticity of your skin. My mom, 5 kameng kids nya, walang stretchmarks at all. I have a few marks on my sides pero sa tummy wala kaya nakakapag-2 piece pa ko.

question lang ... kelan nag aappear usually ang stretchmarks? nung 1st pregnancy ko kasi wala naman akong stretchmarks. kaso medyo maliit din naman ang tyan ko noon. e this time, twins ang dala-dala ko. 5 months na ang tyan ko. mas malaki sya kesa first pregnancy ko, pero parang wala pa rin stretchmarks. and i hope it stays that way.

good thing, may cocoa butter na ulit sa body shop. i replaced shea butter kasi i used cocoa butter nung 1st pregnancy and i believe it helped me not to have stretchmarks.

I'm 35/36 weeks na and this is my second pregnancy. I didn't have any stretch marks during my first and I believe namana ko sa mom ko yun cause she also didn't have any with me and my 3 other siblings.

I only gained 10lbs during my first but now it's double that weight and I still have 1-2 weeks before full term so may possibility pa mag gain. Last week I started to notice about 4 small red lines sa left lower abdomen and 2 lines naman sa right. So yeah.. I guess i wasn't spared but I attribute it to my weight gain, sobrang laki ng belly ko compared to last time.  I just hope Hindi na madagdagan yun lines that I have now. It doesn't really look bad as it is today. I've been using palmers cocoa butter by the way.

^ Me too sis, naggain ako 5lbs in 2 weeks. Then i noticed na nagka red lines din ako after that. So maybe because of the weight gain. Super hinay hinay na tuloy ako sa pagkain at ayoko na yun dagdagan pa.

I'm on my 2nd trime already and I bought The Body Shop's Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Stick. I have yet to see if it's really effective.

Then I found that Bio Oil is already available here in the Philippines. Has any of you tried it already?

Saken din di effective bio oil kasi may itchiness pa din aside sa nagtutuloy pagkakaron ko ng stretchmarks. Mas ok yung palmers saka vco body butter bought from kultura na nirecommend ni ob

It is impossible to prevent stretch mark unless you are luckily gifted with good genes. tee hee!
I simply called mine as battle scars.  :P
