nasa around 450-550 siguro yung range, di ko matandaan exact prices kasi iba iba nga sila. pero basic range eh like that.

i tried yung cream, tummy butter, at massage lotion. ang main problem ko is hindi yung stretchmarks (kasi nagkaron nga ako nun pero nagstop na at hindi din nagdarken.), more on itchiness yung problem ko. i get random red bumps na super kati! from my tummy down to my ankles! kinakamot ko pero di naman nagiging stretchmarks hehe! mahirap tiisin eh. minsan pag gising ko, may small sugat pa ko from scratching. yung cocoa butter formula daw ng palmer's helps din with that kasi some reason why that could happen, aside from stress and hormones, is dry skin.

yung tummy butter, mas mahirap iapply kasi syempre hindi sya di-pump or squeeze. parang ointments. you have to swipe the butter from the shallow tub. imagine yung consistency ng chilled butter, parang ganun sya. so didiinan mo pagkuha para may mapunta sa fingers mo, tapos rub mo na lang wherever. once you apply na sa skin, madali na sya mablend since malulusaw na din naman sya. i use this lang sa tummy kasi hassle nga sya.

yung concentrated cream, parang lotion lang sya na mas malapot. parang toothpaste ang thickness nya. tapos yun nga daw, concentrated hehe. pagdating sa itchiness, this one helps maglessen nung kati and matanggal after a few minutes. BUT i have to say na ganun din yung effect ng bath and body works lotion ko. yun nga lang, yung concentrated cream has vitamin e, which helps talaga in keeping the skin healthy. so mas preferred ko ito kaysa sa bath and body works ko. at least while im preggy hehe. ito yung nilalagay ko dun sa two areas ko (sides ng balakang) that got stretchies. ewan ko lang if makakatulong pa. but just in case, why not. tapos i use it din minsan sa tummy ko pag tinatamad ako gamitin yung butter. at upper thighs pala.

yung massage lotion nila, for stretchies din daw, sya lang yung merong shea butter included. (all three dito may vitamin e, collagen and elastin). consistency nya is katulad lang ng mga regular lotions.  sya yung pinakamalaki sa kanilang tatlo, 250ml. 125ml lang kasi yung concentrated cream eh. so i guess, quantity wise, ito ang cheapest. i use it all over. nakakareduce din sya ng itchiness and eventually mawawala na lang yung kati.

kapag may sudden itch ako, kung [textspeak!] mas malapit, yun ang ginagamit ko. either the massage lotion or cream. syempre kung alin ang di ko kelangan tumayo, yun gagamitin ko hehe!!

yung smell nila are all, of course, chocolatey. yung massage lotion, yun lang yun hindi purong chocolatey smell. im not used to sweet smelling lotions kasi cherry blosson yung lotion ko dati. mas gusto ko yung fragrance ng flowers. pero i adjust well enough and it doesnt bother me now.

meron din palmers cocoa butter formula lotion na not especially made for stretchies. for dry skin daw tapos nakasulat eh 'smoothes marks and tones skin'. makikita mo na lang sila dun.

again- lotions and moisturizers would not prevent a person from getting stretchmarks due to hormones. kung magkakaron, magkakaron talaga. pero they do help with the appearance and kung ang cause nung stretchmarks eh dry skin. :)

i saw raw butter din before, pati shea. pero nakakatakot bilihin kasi parang pwedeng pwede nila dayain na kung anung oil lang yun. technically, no harm naman in spreading oil around your skin, VCO nga daw is good pa or olive oil. pero nakakatakot lang bilihin yung 'raw' daw na cocoa at shea butter. although medyo mahal naman yung nakita ko, weird pa din kasi di ba parang kung yun talaga yung concentrated form, inisip ko dapat mas mahal sya. but still, regardless of that- di yun yung only reason why i did not purchase yung pure and raw.

i read up about it kasi before purchasing and i found out na when it comes to stretchmarks, same as placebo lang yung pure cocoa butter. actually ako, i didnt get the palmers products for the cocoa butter, i got them because of the vit e, collagen, and elastin na infused sa kanila. bigger help daw yun for possible stretchies ;)

if you're getting the 'raw' butter, try mo sis iinfuse na lang sya or sabayan with vitamin e for the skin. pero if di ka naman after preventing stretchies, i guess maski walang vitamin e, collagen or elastin is ok lang. may moisturizing effect naman lahat ng kind ng oils/butters. parang same as using pure VCO na din  sya. :)

my OB told me there's no guaranteed way of preventing stretch marks. it depends daw sa skin ng mommy kasi some mommies lack enough collagen sa skin kaya nagkakaroon ng stretch marks.

during my pregnancy, i used It's Your Body Stretch Mark oil with rosehip and borage oil from MotherCare. good for sensitive skin kasi hypoallergenic ito. unfortunately, talagang sensitive yata talaga akong mag-buntis kaya ayun, still got stretch marks.

pero okay lang. reminder kasi sa akin iyon na i'm a mommy na. tsaka, pwede naman daw ipa-laser, haha.  ;)

For baby #1, I used olive oil on DRY skin, sa tummy area lang. Did not get a single stretch mark on my tummy pero nagkaron ako konti sa inner thighs and butt. Now for baby #2, I'm using olive oil on WET skin kasi mas tolerable ang pakiramdam. I blot dry with a towel after applying the olive oil and parang very moisturized naman ang skin ko.

Yes you can minimize it by lathering lotion, shea butter, olive oil, rosehip and all the stuff thats out in the market. But this will prevent na grabe ang lumabas na stretchmarks. Try dermarolling after giving birth it will definitely improve the skin or stretchmarks :)

yeah i totally agree with you sis. my OB told me the same thing. depende din daw sa skin type, kung magkaka stretch marks ka, magkakaron ka talaga. i have it on my tummy, legs and parteng hips. both my sisters do too. sumpa na sa amin ng kalangitan ito. ;D

i think it varies on your skin type. may mga tao talaga na wont get stretchmarks with or without lotion. iM ON my 5th month na and still got no stretcmarks. i just use vaseline lotion and bio oil.  :)

Hello mommies! Im new here. Anyway, I'm now in my 4th month and what i currently use are Aveeno Shower oil, Jergens Shea Butter lotion (but lately wala nako mahanap na ganito) I like it cos it has 3 important ingredients for moisturizing, it has shea butter, mango butter and cocoa butter in 1 na. You can tell its super moisturizing cos its thick enough. Since Im almost out na of Jergens Shea butter, my sisters gave me their leftovers na body butters from their previous pregnancies. Theres a nipple cream (important daw months before birth gamitin according to my sister para ma prep na yung nipples for breastfeeding) and Burts bees Mama bee butter with vitamin e. I apply sa buong chest, belly, buong waist, hips til the butt area after bathing cos i heard mas maabsorb ang lotion while mejo moist pa the skin from the shower. Another tip is to make sure you religiously apply lotion months before birth palang and not last minute. And also wag daw mag scratch sa tummy. If youre prone daw talaga and pag super big your baby, talgang you cant avoid stretchmarks but  these things will help lessen it lang or if youre lucky maybe wala talaga. Hope this helps! =)
