mga sis meron na ba dito naging patient ni dra villasor ? concern ko talaga right now is binge eating and laziness (especially sa hygiene) . imagine nyo i pay $$$ for gym membership , diets and skin treatments pero wala naman mag improve kasi nga tamad ako. i think depression root into or bipolar (i go crazy sometimes overspending ) . pwede din adhd.hirap ako magfocus.ang hirap din ng life ko gusto ko mag aral ng mga new skills to improve my quality of life (personality development, language , makeup , driving ,swimming ) pero this illness is hindering me . i also have this meekness in me na pag may umaatake sakin i dont fight back so madalas ako mabully so i really need a doctor . okay kaya si doctora villasor of makati med? if not sino kaya pwede nyo mairecommend?

^sis, have you heard of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)? it re-programs the brain (subconcious). basta i-google mo na lang mahirap kasi i-explain. hehe. Mr. Jojo Apollo is an NLP Master Practioner who has helped a lot of people through NLP. I think matutulungan ka nya ma-address yung binge eating and laziness. P2,500 per session (1 to 1.5 hour per session) sabi nya sa kin nung nag-inquire ako.

thanks sis for responding. i know a little about nlp .may mga subliminal audios/videos sa youtube regarding that topic. btw paano ko siya macocontact and effective ba? i want to stay away from medication as possible pero almost 10 years ko na rin kasi problem binge eating. lack of motivation / depression naman siguro mga 6 years na. nasasayang pera ko , i spend money on making my self look better etc. pero di naman ako makapagcommit kasi this depression / adhd /bipolar or whatever illness i have is hindering it.

^Religious si sir Jojo but it has nothing to do with NLP. Hindi mo need to pray o have faith para magawa nya sayo ang NLP. It's like going to a doctor. It doesn't matter kung religious ba yung doctor o hindi as long as he can help you. What if religious din pala yung doctor sa makati med, hindi ka na din magko-consult sa kanya? Haha.
 
Anyway, magpapa-schedule pa lang ako sa kanya since I have depression and procrastination issues din.

please update us sis once you had your first nlp session. let us know if its effective. i just called dra villasors office but may pa daw may available sya na slot. sino kaya may alam pa ng iba pang good doctors to help with my issues .everytime i google my issues its either depression/bipolar/adhd/aspergers.i need to be properly assessed and treated. i just had my first workout today with a personal trainer and so far I'm feeling good. exercise really releases stress. I also signed up for swimming lessons and I'm currently inquiring on personality development courses and english fluency lessons as well. also booking an appointment soon with dra aivee cuz I'm insecure with how i look with no makeup on.so far I'm feeling optimistic about life. ang worry ko lang is sa umpisa lang ako ganito lagi then pag may problema na or something doesnt go my way , i usually quit everything , get depressed and back to zero na naman. thats why i want my issues to be sorted. kahit ano I'm willing to try meds, therapy, etc. basta i dont want to go back to my lazy depressive self .

been reading this post.. madami ako natututunan.. first time ko pumunta sa psychiatrist kanina. kay dra. mary yutiao. niresetahan nya ko ng xanax for 1 week. balik ako next week sa kanya. kaso ngdadalawang isip ako itake. baka kasi maging dependent ako what to do?

Hi mga sis. I've been reading the posts here and finally decided to book an appointment with a psychiatrist. I'm hoping sana today but then lahat ng tinawagan ko mukhang unavailable. I tried calling 2 psychiatrists namely Dr. Elizabeth Guia-Godino and Dr. Nora Avila  sa Medical City (nearest in our place) kaso both hindi pala pwede today (monday)...

I was able to get the number of Dr. Jercyl Leilani Demeterio by calling The Medical City, I thought may clinic hours din siya doon pero nirefer lang din ako sa Cardinal Santos na contact number niya. When I called, wala raw secretary si Dr. Jercyl and binigay lang mobile number niya. I texted her (shy ako tumawag) and tried to book an appointment, pero walang reply. Not sure if it's the correct number.

Lastly, I also tried to book an appointment kay Dr. Luzviminda S. Katigbak sa MMC. Her secretary told me that she will call me back for the available schedule pero until now wala pa rin.

Btw, lahat ng sinubukan kong tawagan, based by research and schedule na ok sana sa akin. I prefer Dr. Jercyl, since marami nagrecommend sakanya dito, kaso hindi ko alam schedule niya and not sure kung tama nakuha kong number.

In short, wala pa rin ako mahanap na psychiatrist that I can book. Gusto ko na talaga magpaconsult asap kaso mukhang nawawalan na ako ng pag asa dahil wala pa rin akong makuha. Hay. Any recommendations mga sis?

Hi, this thread finally persuaded me to go see a psychiatrist. I've got to take care of myself, after all.

Anyway, I've seen that Dr. Demetrio has the best reviews. I called the Cardinal and they only gave me a phone number, I figured that shes a busy person so I called her right ahead, instead of texting. I already have an appointment with her. Her clinic days are only every Thursday and Sunday.

That said, can someone please tell me how much is her consultation fee? She's a busy person with a lot of patients. I don't want to call her again just to ask.

I hope you can recommend a psychiatrist whom I can consult. Someone who holds clinic near PGH sana since familair ako dun sa lugar. Also, kung maaari yung medyo affordable. Matagal ko na gusto magpa-consult sana sa Psych kaso wala naman akong pera saka di ko alam paano ba ang process. Sana mai-share niyo naman sakin kung ano ba ie-expect during first consult at magkano ba usual price nila. Parang nag-aalangan din kasi ako magbayad ng 1000+ for ilang minutes ng chika chika? Hindi ko alam ano ieexpect ko. Sobrang awkward at mahiyain kong tao. Help me please

Mga sis nagpa consult ako today kay dra jercyl she's very nice.she diagnosed me with bipolar 1 .im kinda worried though .baka naexagerrate ko my "manic episodes" because I experience depression a lot more.i will have my blood test tomorrow morning and will start the medication tomorrow night.follow up ko sa kanya is 2 weeks.hopefully the meds will work for me ,no side effects especially weight gain.what are your experiences with lithium and escitex mga sis?

sis its 2000 for first consultation and 1500 on the next appointment. i have my 3rd scheduled ointment with her onjuly 13. btw mga sis meron ba kayo alam na tagalong na therapist? i need help with my social anxiety and procrastination. gusto ko pagsabayin meds ko from dra jercyl and therapy rin cbt or whatever technique na irrecommend sakin.
