@binggay - you got married very young! ako i got married at 24 which i consider young din. hehe! i believe if i got married now i'd be more mature. you guys deserve to celebrate after 10 years of being together nga. you guys married so young and it's very rare for couples who got married so young to last this long. congratulations! anyway i like your idea. maganda yun mag mass first to celebrate. we are thinking of celebrating as well maybe next year, and we are thinking of holding a mass too. great idea!

Thanks, Sis! Oo nga eh, pero I also have firm belief that one of the reasons of our smooth marriage is because di rin kami nakakalimot kay God. Hindi kami yung tipong sumasali ng kung [textspeak!]-anong religious groups but we are faithful Catholics, and we are bringing up the kids the same way. From the first anniversary, and every anniversary thereafter, the first thing we do is to always hear mass together. If it's a weekday, nagpapa-late na lang kami sa office basta dapat sabay kami sumimba. So for our 10th, kelangan talaga may mass pa din.

Yun pa din ang issue ko ngayon, how to keep my list between 30-50 people only, and it should already include our friends. I really don't know how to do it na walang mao-offend o masasaktan sa side niya na hindi naimbitahan. Super laki talaga kasi ng family nila eh.

Hi to all in this thread.. This is my first time to logged on this site and post.. We'll be celabrating our 15th year aniversary next year (april2013) and we would like to have a simple celebration for our family and friends. We got married through civil rights way back 1998 and by this time we want to have a formal one, a garden wedding. Do u have any suggestion for a garden venue overlooking tagaytay that can accommodate maybe 80-100guests.. Thanks in advance.

Malapit na ang renewal of vows namin!!! 3 yrs ago siguro nung namention ko ito sa hubby ko and parang laro laro lang or arte arte lang ang planning... pero this time, talagang gumawa si Lord ng way para maging meaningful ang renewal of vows namin... mas may purpose kung baga... and mas love namin ang isa't isa for better or for worse...

We recently attended a Marriage Encounter and doon namin na-finalize to have an intimate renewal of vows for our 10th year anniv this year...

Venue pa lang nabook ko in TAgaytay... share naman kayo san kayo nagrequest ng pari to bless, payag kaya sila if hindi sa church ang ceremony???

I also need recommendation of AFFORDABLE florists, caterer, photo/video na Tagaytay-based para wala ng out-of-town charges?  TIA!

Hi sis!
Wedding renewal is just like preparing your 1st wedding, minus the stressful documents & seminars.
Even if you are a Catholic, you may now hold your wedding in gardens, beaches or anywhere you want outside the church.  At least that's what our officiating priest told us.

Hi sis! Im new here. Nabasa ko yung post mo. Kami din gusto mag pa renew ng bows. Pero naguguluhan ako pano mag simula kasi its our 20 yrs na after nag pakasal kami sa reverent sa mla city hall. Di pa kasi kami ready nun mag pakasal kaso nagsama na kami kaya napilitan kami mag pakasal. And this time gusto namin ng formal na pero gusto namin pareho garden wedding. Pwd kaya yun?

question po. we are planning for renewal of vows also this november, it's our 10th anniversary. actually, we had our civil wedding back in 2001, then a year after mas bonggang wedding inside the venue of our reception officiated by an orthodox priest. back then we didn't know that he does not belong to to the roman catholic sect. one month preparation lang kasi and sobrang ilusyonada ako that time na gusto ko ng garden wedding na wala ng mga seminar seminar..... now gusto ko na talaga sa church under our roman catholic belief.....help me naman how's the process. simple celebration lang gusto ko kasi wala talagang kaming extra budget. though i'm hoping na ma document with a same day edit video yung aming 10th hehe.. (ilusyon na naman ito!) but seriously speaking i want it documented with a good video....

same tayo ng situation sis, di rin roman catholic ang nag-officiate ng wedding namin, kya nga i'm looking forward to a renewal of vows on a catholic church  on our tenth wedding anniversary, medyo malayo pa un, sa 2016 pa nman...

Hubby and I plan to renew our vows on our 10th year. That's in 2015 pa naman but I wanted to gather ideas as early as now so that we can also prepare financially.


We got married in church back in 2005 and gusto sana namin to also have Catholic rites pero beach wedding naman.


Any ideas where we can start?

Mga sis we are set to do renewal of vows jan 3rd 2014. Simple dinner lang with immediate family 25 paxs. ask ko sana ano po ba, ginagawa sa ceremony, meron po ba mass or blessing lang? meron din po ba walking down the aisle? program sa renewal of vows na reception?

Oo nga. Matagal natulog itong thread na ito... Gusto ko na makaipon pra sa bonggang tenth wedding anniv and renewal of vows namin ni hubby. Kaso andami dapat unahin... sana talga matuloy.

if we're renewing our vows, peg ko ang wedding ni Kim K dun sa NBA player lol basta ganun... or kaya beach wedding in Maldives, Phuket, Amanpulo or Boracay.

Hi sis! To my knowledge, kung hindi pa kayo ikinakasal sa Katolikong simbahan, there is no vow to renew yet.  Initially, we got civilly married 3 months before our 1st church wedding before we started renewing our vows on a yearly basis
