Renewal of Wedding Vows...

Hi there sis!  You want a wedding renewal?  May gumagawa naman sis.  Actually me and my hubby renew our wedding vows on a yearly basis.  If you are a Catholic, you can hold the ceremony na outside the church.

^ wow sis chrislovestintin! love ALL your weddings... I am praying hard to have our wedding vows to be yearly renewed too if budget permits, buti ka pa sis it seems that it is not an issue, perhaps po you can give us tips especially on budget area 

Same rate din po kaya ang rental fee ng mga churches kahit renewal of wedding lang? San po kaya ang pinaka mura

Thanks sis C-loves-A!  Sorry sis haven't done renewals inside the church kaya I don't know if the rate is the same.  According kasi to Fr. Resty, our officiating priest since 1st wedding, we could do the ceremony outside na.  Pero sa tingin ko sis same nga lang din ang rate ng renewal inside the church. 

Yearly renewal naman sis need not be expensive.  I've read on a thread (wedding on a tight budget) me suppliers with complete wedding packages like simple vanity

Makakatipid din kung DIY ang invites, souvenirs etc.

Hi sis!
Wedding renewal is just like preparing your 1st wedding, minus the stressful documents & seminars.
Even if you are a Catholic, you may now hold your wedding in gardens, beaches or anywhere you want outside the church.  At least that's what our officiating priest told us.

hi sissies! my mom tasked me to be the "planner" of their 25th year anniversary.. so kelangan may renewl of vows.. problem is.. I don't have any idea how to do it.. is it the same as the first time round? yung may mga bridesmaids etc? may ninong at ninang pa ba? haha Help???

anyway, catholic kami and gusto ni mama ng traditional sa church with entourage etc.. ok lang ba yun? as in may maid of honor? bridesmaids?? hindi ba parang weird kasi 25th year nila and yung mga kukunin ni mama na mga kaibigan niya matatanda na rin,.. hehe

gusto ko din magrenewal of vows pero after 10 years na muna. i told my hubby that i want a beach wedding kaya kelangang sexy pa din ako after 10 years

yung ibang friends ko na sa ibang bansa nagpakasal, nagparenewal of vows sila dito sa pilipinas. pag sa church daw, she told me na meron daw requirements na 5 or 10 years married na before they accept renewal of vows. 4 years ago pa ata yun nung piplano nila yung church wedding nila sa pinas. i dont know if ganun pa din yung ibang church.

@sis a_y_e_n: We renew our vows on a yearly basis.  For 2nd and 3rd (Jan. 22, 2011) wedding however, our venue was/will be outside the church.  Went to Caleruega Church to reserve a date for our 4th wedding.  They didn't ask how many years we've been married.  They want just the copy of our marriage certificate.  Sana lang ganun lahat ng Catholic church

^yeah, i saw your wed site. nung una, i thought ang wierd kase every year. pero nung napaisip ako, hmmm.... cool din pala, ang sweet ng hubby mo!
i think depende lang sa church yung requirements nilang specific number of years na kasal befor the renewal.

@ sis chrislovestintin - thank you sis sa pm, sa Cebu Bantayan beach supposedly ang event kaso nung tinanong ko sa resort sabi: With regards to the priest if it is roman catholic the priest here does not want to officiate outside the church but if it is protestant or others I think they are okay officiating the event

hello everyone! i'm new here. glad i found this thread. my husband and i got married 2008 here in the philippines. we'll be moving to the states this year and are planning on getting married again next year 2012 in california. anyone here from cali who can give us tips? i really have no idea how much an average wedding basically cost in the US, so anyone who got married in the States here, i'd appreciate your input!

also i guess Vow Renewals are pretty much like a DIY wedding right? i can incorporate anything i like in the program. to the owner of chrislovestintin blog, hopefully you can enlighten me on how to have a vow renewal. in your case, do you guys actually really get married with a priest every year? like with paper work and all every year? or is it for ceremony purposes only? also what would be a nice entertainment for the guests on vow renewals?
