^^Thanks sis. Excited na kami pero wala pa time mag-asikaso. We wanted a very very simple one. Sana ma-achieve namin yan. ;D Re gown, I promised myself I'll bring that to life once I can na.  Kaya ayan. ;D

We'll try to get a priest in CDO. We want to hold the renewal there. And sana nga di na ganun ka-stressful. :) Thanks uli sis.  ;)

Hi sisses, joining this thread. Although if ever we'll go through this, next year pa kasi we just celebrated our 9th year.

I got married 9 years ago, and I was relatively young pa (20 turning 21). What we do during our anniversaries is go out of town with our kids or sometimes kaming dalawa lang para mas ma-feel ko na anniversary namin.

Next year will be our 10th year na. I was thinking of having a thanksgiving mass (really, our relationship has been so blessed, we never had any major issues in the 10 years we've been married, considering bata pa kami nung na-asawa kami) so I really want a thanksgiving mass and maybe incorporate the Vows Renewal in the mass.

Hindi kami mayaman, so I am sure budget will be limited (considering we now have 2 kids na school-age). I want sana mass and then dinner to follow in a small resto para intimate talaga. My dilemma -- hubby's family is huge!!! As in pinsan, pamangkin, etc. na mega close kaya hindi ko alam how I can stick to my 30-person plan. 30 is not even enough for his side of the family. Pag meron naman di imbitahan I am sure magiging major issue ito. I'm trying to think of ways how to trim down my list, pero di ko talaga alam kung pano kasi for sure magkakaalaman sa side ng family niya. Sa side ko kasi less than 10 lang ang iimbitahan ko (most of my relatives are based in the US na). Pano kaya ito??

I am also looking for a small restaurant in QC kung saan pwede na gawin yung mass and dinner. I am eyeing Rustica restaurant although I've never tried it there (may mga sis na nag-recommend ng Rustica) sana meron pang mag-share ng experiences nila doon.

Or anywhere na you can suggest pa? I am looking for a small resto lang para pwede kong gawing exclusive yung place. Dun na yung mass tapos dinner after.

^ Wow, 25 years! Congratulations! Ako, ang usapan namin, our 25th Anniversary will be a grand one! As in parang kinakasal ng the first time. Sabi ko kasi, when we got married, since bata kami, so very lmited budget, marami kaming hindi nagawa na gusto namin. We weren't aware of what was "in" considering kaming dalawa ang una sa barkada namin pareho na mag-aasawa. So sabi ko, when we get married again on our 25th, we will do EVERYTHING that we wanted to do the first time but couldn't. At least this time kami na talaga ang masusunod. =)

Make it super bongga! Grabeng daming blessings niyan so go all out and celebrate! =)

Hi there sis!  You want a wedding renewal?  May gumagawa naman sis.  Actually me and my hubby renew our wedding vows on a yearly basis.  If you are a Catholic, you can hold the ceremony na outside the church.

You may check our wedsite for info or ideas on renewals:

Thanks sis!  For renewals, mass and exchange of vows na lang so we don't have secondary sponsors.  I still have a BM and MOH though :)

iba-iba sis eh.  On our second wedding, I walked with my husband while carrying our baby (inside a basket).  On our 3rd naman,  since double wedding yun, my husband waited for me and my mom in the altar along with my father :)

^ sis ang saya naman every year renewal of vows kayo... super sweet!

Almost 7 years na kami married and I'm planning to suprise hubby with a Renewal of Vows event on our 10th year. Siya kasi yung malaking disappointment ang naramdaman nung wedding namin, for so many reasons I don't want to elaborate na. I'm saving up for it and I'm planning na super intimate as in super close friends and family lang talaga. Oh well, I still have two and a half years to save and 6 months to prepare.

Help please...

It's my parents 30th anniversary and they're planning to get married on feb 18. We want it simple. Nakabook na ng church mom ko. My question is, kelangan pa ba namin (the kids) maglakad sa aisle or parents ko lang? or  do they need to walk at all sa aisle? naguguluhan kasi kami kung pano pag renewal of vows.  Ang magpaparticipate and invited lang kasi are my parents, 4 kids (me and my siblings), close family and friends.  All in all, 20 lang kami lahat. My dad wants it to be simple as in blessings lang sana eh ang binook ni mama na church is 10k with red carpet and flowers saka yung may kakanta.

Another question, kelangan pa ba ng chord, veil etc pag renewal?

@qtchiq_lemon hi sis. for me much better if you (children) will also walk sa aisle kasi kayo [textspeak!] naging fruit ng love ng parents mo. [textspeak!] [textspeak!] sa cord, veil, candle pwede mo din lagyan kahit [textspeak!] mga maglalakad na lang ang i-assign mo for that.

@binggay - you got married very young! ako i got married at 24 which i consider young din. hehe! i believe if i got married now i'd be more mature. you guys deserve to celebrate after 10 years of being together nga. you guys married so young and it's very rare for couples who got married so young to last this long. congratulations! anyway i like your idea. maganda yun mag mass first to celebrate. we are thinking of celebrating as well maybe next year, and we are thinking of holding a mass too. great idea!

Paano kaya set up sa paglalakad sis? Do we have to follow the traditional, like bestman then groom (i don't know the line up) or in order ba ng age namin ng siblings namin? Una ako then huli yung bunso? 4 kasi kaming magkakapatid. 3 girls and 1 boy. yung bunso, girl siya and grade 6 pa lang. Gusto niya may bata.  And here we are, wala pa nagaasawa ni isa sa amin and I'm already 29  ;D ... yung sumunod sa akin is 27 and yung only male sibling ko is 23. 12 years old pa lang yung bunso.

Anyway, BTT, we're planning the reception sa bahay na lang para kahit hanggang anong oras yung bisita at yung budget for reception eh mapunta na lang sa food.

Another thing, pag renewal ba, do we need to prepare yung offerings? Yung naatendan ko kasi na weddings, sila nagprepare like fruits, canned goods, money, etc... Do we have to prepare that or kahit wag na?

Thanks for answering pala sis!  :D

traditional line up will do. pero sa parents mo, mas maganda pag sabay silang maglalakad after nyo maglakad lahat. way back year 2000, my grandparents celebrated their 50th golden wedding anniversary. i was their bride's maid then maid of honor naman ang mom ko since she's the only child of my folks then [textspeak!] younger brother ko naman ang ring bearer nila. hehe... traditional wedding yung nangyari kaya tingin ko ok din kung ganun gagawin nyo kasi may setup sa church.  :)
