yes slim chance since hindi naman nag cum sa loob, but may chances na may maligaw na sperm sa pre-cum. pero still less chance na for you to get pregnant, not unless superman yung sperm na naligaw (if ever meron) why not try taking pills, para sure na hindi ka mabuntis. safe naman and promising pa ang result sa skin. yung pills ko is althea.

I use althea before for my pcos and ocp, pero yun nga nabuntis pa rin ako. pero i plan to abstain na ulit, sd and i just missed each other siguro, pero not gonna make the same mistake again.

Mga sis, i will not take a chance with calendar method...ang dami ko alam na ganyan. kapitbahay ko umabot ng 5 yong anak. yong 3 sunod-sunod, as in 3, 2, 1 ang age...tapos ask ko kung nagpa ligate na sya. di daw takot sya kasi baka may side effect  grabe, parang gusto pa masundan...

Pinaka-SAFE...since you will learn more about your body. Simply (1) list down the dates of your first days of menstruation, (2) count your cycle days (from the first day of your previous menstruation to the first day of your next), (3) the most fertile, is ovulation or peak day - 2 weeks (14 days) BEFORE the next menstruation. (4) the fertile period are the 13 to 18  days BEFORE the next menstruation.  All the other days are safe.

Hindi naman kasi possible na mabuntis most of the time.  May acid ang Vagina na pumapatay sa sperm.  At kahit may makaligtas na sperm, hindi makakapasok sa Cervix dahil may nakaharang na thick Cervical Mucus plug.   At kahit na makapasok pa sa Cervix, papunta sa Uterus, walang egg na mape-fertilize.

When the release of the egg is near (in 3-5 days), nagli-liquify ang Cervical Mucus at nagiging dischare o White Mens.  Kapag meron nito, napo-protect ang sperm sa acid ng Vagina kaya nabubuhay.  Kung walang sperm, nabubuhay ang egg na hanggang 2 days (24-48 hours).  Pagkatapos nito at wala talagang sperm, kakapal ulit ang mucus at magsasara na ulit ang opening ng cervix.  Pinaka-safe na.  After 14 days, ang blood na naipon sa wall/lining ng Uterus ay lalabas sa body as menstruation.

Here's an example, based on the dates given by chellychacha:

"may 23, june 25, july 25"

Count 14 days backwards from May 23.  We can estimate that the previous ovulation day is May 9.  The 3-5 days which include May 9 are May 5 to 9.  These are considered as fertile days where the sperm can survive.  Since nabubuhay naman ang egg a day after it has been released, then May 10 is also considered fertile.

Based on the dates given, chellychacha has 31-34 Day Cycle.  In counting, the First Day of the Previous Menstruation is always Day 1.

In a 31-Day Cycle, the Ovulation/Peak Day is Day 17, we assume the Fertile Days from Days 13 to 18   

In a 34-Day Cycle, Ovulation is Day 20, Fertile Days, Days 16 to 21.

Finally, para magamit ang Calendar-Based method na ito, iko-combine ang lahat ng fertile days.

Days 13 to 21 ang estimated fertile days ni chellychacha.  Her mensturation may occur from the 31st to 34th day.

Para ma-double check, io-observe lang from Day 13 to 21 kung may mucus dishcarge o white mens.  Kung meron na, ibig sabihin Fertile days na.  Sunod-sunod na ito for 3-5 days.

Ang safe days ni chellychacha ay Days 1 to 12, at Days 22 to 34.

So, kung fertile o hindi safe, paano na?  Abstention lang ba ang natural option para hindi mabuntis?

Isa sa mga Secondary Signs of fertility ay ang increased sex drive.  A wife can still have the full experience of sex if her husband would use the Withdrawal Method. There is no sperm in pre-ejaculate fluid.

Meron nang study/research na nagpapatunay nito.

Therefore, kung fertile, Withdrawal Method muna, pero importante na makapag-orgasm din ang wife.

Kung empowered na ang women with information about their body...hindi kailangan ang contraceptives at iba pang artificial birth control methods.

Ok naman ang calendar method kung malakas ang self control at kung regular ang period. Pero may mga babae na may hormonal imbalance at hindi regular ang cycle so hindi applicable ang calendar method.

Tulad ng sinabi ko sa aking previous message on the Calendar Method...hindi kailangan required ang self control - meron nang proof na effective and Withdrawal Method...at hindi issue whether regular or irregular ang menstruation...in the first place parang hindi nga yata fully understood kung ano nga ba ang meaning ng regular at irregular.

Kahit pa may hormonal imbalance, possible pa rin na malaman kung fertile o hindi.  May mga ibang Natural Familiy planning Methods na pwede i-combine sa calendar-based method.  Ang ilan sa mga ito ay ang Cervical Mucus (Billings/Two-Day) at Basal Body Temperature Method.

Maling gumamit ng Pills at iba pang Hormonal Contraceptives (Injectables, Patch, Ring, etc)..para i-treat ang Hormonal Imbalance...mataas ang risk na ikamatay ang paggamit nito through Blood Clots or Cancer

So no, I wouldn't exactly call that a proof.
And the differences between regular and irregular period is pretty straightforward. You get your period at fixed monthly intervals = regular. Otherwise, it's irregular. If you can't predict when your next period is coming, then it would be impossible to know your fertile/ovulating periods.

Let's put emphasis on "myth that pre ejaculate fluid contains sperm."  It's a myth in the first place.  It was not based on any Scientific observation.  So any study done, even small ones, is enough.  Larger ones will simply support the previous.

Here's another proof, that it's just a belief and not supported by research.

Some participants believed that withdrawal is not reliable because pre-ejaculate fluid contains viable sperm—a belief that has not been supported by research.²⁴

Thus a calendar-based method of Natural Family Planning can be combined with Withdrawal Method for a safer sex.

Irregular means that your Cycle Length is less than 21 days or more than 35 days.  So if your menstruation would be 21 to 35 days...that's still considered regular.  In fact, it seems very normal for any human being to be irregular...that means we are very human and alive...we're not machines that follow a perfectly consistent pattern.

"Menstrual bleeding is considered irregular if it occurs more frequently than every 21 days, lasts longer than 7 days or is heavy. Irregular bleeding also includes infrequent periods, including menstrual intervals greater than 35 days, skipped months or absent periods."

hi mga sis! pahelp naman ako please last october may nangyari samin ng bf ko pero right after ng period ko yun. halimbawa kahapon yung last day ng period ko, kinabukasan may nangyari samin. first day of my period is oct 13 and its last day was oct 18. di ako nagkaruon ng november until now pero i can feel na masakit yung dibdib ko saka yung puson ko which are the signs na magkakaruon nko. ano po dapat kong gawin? and is it possible na may nabuo?

^parang imposibleng may mabuo sis kasi sabi mo after ng mens mo saka lang may nangyari... Samin kasi ni hubby sa totoo lang 6 years na kaming calendar method lang... Hindi kasi ako masanay sa pills, nagpa palpitate ako and ayaw din naman namin ng condoms... So far hindi naman kami pumapalya... Siguro sis stressed ka lang... You just have to relax... Para hindi maudlot ang period mo nakaka delay din kasi kapag isip ka ng isip...

^sis meron naman nabibili na pt kit na maganda brand... Yung kahit 1week preggy ka palang malalaman mona... Nakalimutan kona ang brand pero mas mahal siya than the regular pt kit... Sa mercury drugs meron nun sis... Well talagang nakakatakot na malaman if ever positive, pero ganun talaga sis eh... Saka lalo ka kabahan kung alam mong regular naman ang cycle mo tapos bigla ngayon delayed na waaa... Hehe... Ganun talaga kapag ibinigay sayo wala tayo magagawa jan...
