Calendar Method. Is it safe? how?

My OB said there's no actual "safe". It is just a very popular myth. The calendar method may or may not work. So it's all about careful planning (whether you want to be pregnant or not).

According to her the safest bet is 10 days before and 10 days after. Start counting on Day 1. So for example you had your first day of menstrual period on August 1, to avoid any pregnancies, don't engage in sexual intercourse up until August 10. Safest days to do it is from August 11 to August 20 (which gives you roughly 10 days of love making  ). And stop doing it again from August 21 to August 30. You should be expecting your next period within a week on August 31 to September 6 (if you're regular). Then that completes the menstrual cycle.

Basing on the info above, if you plan to be pregnant, you can have intercourse on the days that were marked as no-no for those who are avoiding pregnancy. As much as possible, avoid doing sex everyday (including safe days) because chances are your partner's sperm will be less potent (so don't waste it). Try to have rest days in between.

based on recent studies, mas madaming nape-preggy if sa middle of the month sila nag-eengage sa unprotected sex.

maybe because, its the ovulation period, granting na nag-start period mo on day 1.

nag-do kami nung Aug.13 lang (recently lang) haha,
1st period ko is Aug.1 (napaaga yung mens ko na dapat Aug.3 talaga).
Tingin nyo safe naman ba sya?
May napansin kasi ako nung araw na nag-do kami, nung pagihi ko nung tanghali, parang may nakita akong white sa panty ko na parang mukhang paste. O.O

im using calendar method or rhythm effective for me but reminder gurls  applicable lang ito sa mga babaeng meron period 26-32 days.. if less than 26 and more than 32 days period mo dapt di ito gamitin mo..dapat marunong ka talaga magbilang ganito dapat... example if your period is today Jany 29.. then you should count is first day na talaga... you are safe until 7 days.. then 8-19 days these are the days mostly likely mabuntis ka 20-32 days safe days and dapat magkaroon ka ng period.. if di mapigilan during fertile days mo dapat  meron talaga ibang safety measures...

it's pretty much about counting the day of your period. day 1 is the the first day you get your menses, then up to day 11-12 is considered the safe period. day 14 you ovulate, so not safe until day 28. from day 28-30 those are the days you're supposed to get your period again. it's ma-effort and you'd have to be overly aware of the day of your cycle for it to actually work.. but then some might prefer using this method kase withdrawal doesn't have to be an option.

 


depende sa no. of days period ng babae ang pag count ng 14 days  kaya dapat at least 3 periods observe ka talaga ano ba regular days ng cycle ng period mo example.. if always 26 days ka lang talaga  26-14 ka.. meaning in 12th day that's you're ovulation period.. or if 28 days 28-14= nasa 14th days ka if 32-14= 18th day ovulation mo..  if nag vary naman days  like nasa 27-30 days ka nasa 13-16th day ang ovulation period mo... actually maganda ito to determine baby girl or baby boy with this method..

paano po kung 32 to 34 days ako bago magkaroon ng menstrual cycle. isn't safe na gumamit pa ako ng calendar mentod?
last period ko po is December 31 tapos natapos january 4(mejo may patakpatak pa yan)
but jan 3, we make love po..safe ba 'yun?
but thanks God nagkaroon ak this February 2..siguro matatapos to mga feb 5or 6,..kailan po ba ang safe days ko?

Mga sissess help...

Hay paranoid lang tlaga ako..kahit malayo pa..si bf kasi haay makulit..pag nag do kasi kami before may condom eh kagabi ayun..kahit walang condom ayun nag do pa rin kami...

Nag mens ako Dec.27- Dec.30 eh dahil irregular ako ang next mens ko ay Feb.1 - Feb. 5 ..then nag do kami Feb.6 nag withdarawal naman c bf kaya lang paranoid lang talaga ako kasi for what I read effective lang calendar method pag regular..eh ayun irregular ako,,,malaki ba ang chances ba na mabubuntis ako nyan?

Gf and I had a lovemaking sessioon on her 14th day (ang kulit kasi nig f, sabi ko walang penetration pero namimilit. Nurse kasi at hindi naman daw sya nagoovulate) but I did not come inside her and opted to do withdrawal.

She was on pills for 8 months but stopped using it in feb 4. Her first day of menstruation is May 4 (na delay sya ng 1 week nung april kasi dati 28th day sya dinadatnan pero May 4).  We had our last “loving loving” out last May 17 so she was no longer on pills for 3.5 months.  Will she get pregnant? Sumasakit na ang boobs nya at swollen at bugnutin, which are symptoms that she will be having her period na pero wala pa.  Kelan ba dapat sya magkakaroon? I am starting to get paranoid and I don’t want to be…..

since sabi mo, nag-withdrawals naman kayo. but then, you should have used "rubbers" para mas sigurado. baka kasi may instance na nag-pre-ejaculate ka ... then cross-fingers nga talaga.

28-32 days naman ang cycle pag sa regular menstruation.
