hi sis! i just checked airfares (nangangarap kasi akong pumunta sa NZ, hehe). To answer your question, aside from Jetstar, China Airlines is also more affordable, the cheapest fare i saw was around 37K inclusive of taxes. Jetstar is around 35K, inclusive of taxes. Pero syempre, fares would differ based on dates.

Kami rin no choice but to go with some sort of tour. Never been there, don't know anyone, not good with directions. At sobrang nadelay na, three years ago pa nga namin gusto sana makapunta, LOL. Yes, please post suggested agencies...

I have done extensive research na on NZ tours - so far I'm really eyeing "Haka Tours" and it really seems so great! I have read nothing but great reviews! Also, very detailed ang itinerary and add-ons sa website nila, maayos at efficient (bodes well for their reputation). Well laid-out ang add-ons and kung saang tours yun kasali.

You can pick which tour package then personalize your add-ons - then makikita mo clearly magkano aabutin ang cost.

Super pangarap ko talaga pumunta ng NZ.

Hi, mga sisses! Just an info, highly recommended talaga to see Haka performance --- very good talaga siya and it's very famous here in NZ, it's like a cultural heritage thingy... Yah, I think it's quite difficult to do DYI trip (unless you've got your own car & gps, perfect combination)  here in NZ because bus system is not every minute kagaya sa atin, then yung taxi you need to call them thru phone pa, you can't easily hail a taxi here... Train system is great in the city but in rural areas, nah....

Then, people/offices/agencies here , you can contact them best thru email coz it's way, way more faster & cheaper than calling then thru phone... Then there is no hidden coct or any dodgy thing talaga here, agencies are straightforward and honest (haven't heard na mga manloloko hehe)

Sis, have you decided which part of NZ you'll be visiting North or South Island?

@ bubbles_sandy -- not familiar with volts apartment but yes with queens street.... Anyway, check this site www.trademe.co.nz -----either you can rent an apartment or flat with someone. Way, way better and much cheaper will be to board a room(furnished) of someone's house (if you know someone in Auckland).... Hope this helps!

Hi mga sisses, i'm newbie here ask ko lang if may alam kayo sa auckland and wellington na room for rent for 2 weeks yung medyo mura lang and mostly mga filipino ang nakatira. punta kasi kame ng friends ko ng september 1 sa new zealand.

Another thing I just want some advice. Im on a residency visa working as an RN. Been here for 2-3 years. I have a boyfriend na gusto ko sana makasama na dito. We have been together going 3 years na sa november, meaning less than 4 months pa lang kami ng umalis ako sa pinas pero friends na kami before that. The thing is we have never lived together. Ano kayang visa ang dapat namin iapply. I can sponsor him naman. We have 2 options

A. General visit visa then dito na lang ayusin, kaso baka limited ang mabigay sa kanya
B. visit visa thru partnership or partnership visa kaya lang hindi nga kami nagsama
