Oo nga sis iniisip ko rin mahirap tala i-risk although I'm hoping na sana wag hahaha kasi gusto ko talaga outdoor! Ngayon pa lang bridezilla na hahaha

san ba ang wedding mo sis? i went to patio victoria kanina at maganda ang place nila. garden wedding sila at pwede rin silang magprovide ng tent if ever umulan. i think kasama sa package nila talaga yung tent eh and that's free of charge. meron din sa intramuros na ibang garden pero pwedeng covered.

well sis.. kahit anong gawin mo.. kahit magdasal ka ng buo 2011 which i know we never know miracle happens diba basta we believe. Kaso its toooooooo as in toooooo madaming ooooo risky!

I suggest rent a tent. Me wedding kami dati sa hillsborough pool side.
the couple rented a tent ordinary white tent. Maganda naman kinalabasan e.
Wala lang ilaw hahaha nakalimutan nila kaya nagtyaga mga guest sa ilaw nun lamp ng centerpiece at ilan ng pool hehe..

So additional expenses sya.. rent a tent, make sure you added the light facility kahit simple wiring from outlet tapos me mga extension wires going to the center of the tent. Ngayon para bongga.. Put swags to cover the tent. in the middle yun bumbilya diba.. ilagay sa isang paper lamp ba tawag dun yun bilog na white na pang japanses style. mura lang yun sa divisoria. If your flourist can do it then sila na wag kana bumili. It will make your tent super cozy...

wag ka umasa na sana wag naku mahirap na lalo sa panahon ngayon we dont know kailan uulan diba kailan me bagyo.

Sis princessrio, alam ko nga dami maganda venues sa Manila and even sa QC although I am from the South kaya sobrang limited and options ko...haayyy dahil dyan wala pa rin akong venue di bale kaya ko to! hehe

day and all the preparations might end up ruined. Given the date of our wedding, what are your opinions mga sis? Sino ba ang mga Nov. brides dito, what are your experiences?

hi sis! yan din ang dilemma ko kasi Sept 10, 2011 wedding ko rainy season din. idea talaga ni h2b ang garden reception kasi may pagkaenvironmentalist siya and maiba naman sa usual venue. ang kagandahan ng venue namin may back-up na covered venue pero bahay kubo lang siya. ang suggestion ko sayo sis mag-alay ka ng itlog kay sta. clara ata ang patron para maging maganda ang weather sa kasal mo.

when we planned our wedding, gusto ni hubby garden but given the circumstances (and added fees), we realized d namin kaya irisk yung day namin.

while garden wedding looks more elegant and beautiful, it might also be a cause of trouble during your wedding. here are the things you consider when you have a garden wedding:

1. weather
2. flowers/decorations (trust me, parang double and gastos mo sa flowers for garden)
3. insects
4. can't wear heels!!! (mababaon ang heels sa lupa. promise!)
5. back up fees just in case it might rain
6. more lights! or else madilim.

when it rains:
1. hassle. possible delay of ceremony or reception.
2. you can set up a tent but have to deal with the mud. tent (take note, added budget)
3. mahamog (especially dinner)
4. concern ka sa mga guests mo if they are really comfortable staying outside when it rains.

the best time to have a garden wedding is on a summer at sunset.

sus, kinakabahan na tuloy ako  Garden wedding din kami this coming January less than two months nalang kasal na. dream ko talaga yung garden reception and dont wanna cover it up with tents kase sayang yung ganda ng garden parang feeling ko whats the whole point kung lalagyan lang ng tent. Pero after reading this nalilito na tuloy ako kung if i need to rent ng tent grrr... Sana makisama yung panahon.

^ not to burst your bubble sis ha pero most of our sisses here who had garden weddings rented tents as backup. take note, pati ito advanced booking. kasi if you book the tent days before your wedding (considering may pag-asa update na), you might have problem with renting the tents dahil nagkaubusan na. also, kelangan mo rin tingnan ang quality and hitsura na tent. jusko, wag naman sana ala tarp d ba?

in the end, whether you use it or not, you still have to pay for those tents. unless risky ka, then go ahead. read the thread about disaster weddings, mostly dun inulam na outdoor weddings.

most of all sis, pray.. pray.pray.pray. mag alay ka ng itlog kay st. claire.

share ko ako garden wedding last month lang as in talagang bonggang bonggang dasal ang ginawa ko kasagsagan pa ng ulan last month grabe pero ika nga lahat ng bagay nadadaan sa dasal Thank God during the day of my wedding talagang super sikat ng araw to think na nag panic na kami before the wedding kasi panay ulan kaya super happy at di umulan problem lang sobrang sikat ng araw naman kaya pawisan ang guest at ako na bride at groom buti na lang ok ang makeup ko na ginamit at di nalusaw sa init ng araw haha!

hubby ko halos mabasa ng pawis ang barong nya sa init but fortunately after ng ceremony biglang nabawasan sikat ng araw that time pictorial na muna kaya kakatuwa ang galing basta super pray lang talaga alam nyo ba after ng wedding ko biglang bigla naman umulan weew! parang blessing ni God sa nangyaring kasal namin imagine after natapos ang kasal kakasakay pa lang naminsa bridal car pauwi na ng hotel namin bigla umulan na..


kaya thank God at nairaos ng matiwasay wedding kundi super disaster talaga at sayang lahat ng decoration sa Garden lahat ng set up sa putik mapupunta hayyy ...

I am pro-tent. Umulan man o hindi, if you have a nice tent it helps pa rin.

Problems with open-air setup:
Pag umaga (as I've seen with friends' weddings): Mainit.
Pag umaga na hindi mainit: Mahangin.
Pag gabi na hindi umuulan: Mahangin pa rin at natutumba ang mga centerpiece sa table.

We booked a tent out of paranoia but it ended up solving the wind problem even if it didn't rain. Plus the white looked nice in the pictures. Ventilation na lang ang problem, but we didn't get a tent with walls so they still got to enjoy the garden view and a breeze.

Make sure lang din if meron na kayo tent at me mga candles kayo maganda yun lagayan kasi baka mamatay hehe sa lakas ng hangin.

^Sis, kapag garden/christian wedding dapat ba both kayo ni fiance' ay christians? We opt for a civil then christian wedding kasi since I am based overseas and I don't have time to fix the requirements if we go for a Catholic church wedding. Thanks

sis same tayo ng question.. garden wedding din kasi ang gusto namin ni h2b. and as much as possible, reverend ang mag-oofficiate ng wedding namin.. possible ba yun? to have a christian wedding, dapat ba both christians kayo?

by the way mga sisses, pagka garden wedding, pwede ang reverend/pastor ang mag officiate ng wedding niyo right? my question is, may mga seminar pa din ba yun gaya ng church wedding?? or para ka lang din nagpakasal sa judge pero pastor nga lang. tia.
