Hi! Im a new medical representative sa gsk! we will start on march 15, thank God naipasa ko sya.. sobrang salaan at tama lahat ng perks na sinabi dto, maganda ang offer ng gsk sa mga med reps for sure maeenjoy talaga ninyo! excited na ko! gudluck girls!

Thats good! Gudluck sayo sis, be mindful of integrity. during training, no cheating talaga. review review review kasi may mga natatanggal pa din. Be nice to everyone even the servers sa canteen. dont be a know-it-all.

Magkano na starting salary ng medrep ngayon yung mga na backread ko dito eh 2010 pa 8k-10k ganun pa din ba swelduhan?and saan may company pwede applayan na pwede akong ma assignin PAranaque, las pinas, alabang only kase taga dito lang ako

^im a nurse sis. and so are my friends too. my bago din ako kakilala who passed the final interview 2 weeks ago, nurse din . Not true. walang rules samin na bawal nurses sobra dami nurses.

Big Pharma companies wants fresh grads too kasi madali turuan unlike seasoned reps na mahirap ng turuan dahil marami na alam. trust me. wag kayo matakot. apply lang ng apply.

@Ashley, you can't be sure agad kung saan ka maassign. Kasi during interviews, they usually ask you if you're willing to be assigned anywhere, and minsan, part ng job offer is that you can be assigned anywhere the job entails you to be. Also, the reps will know their assignment upon "graduation" or when they're done with the training.

I want to work in the Pharma Industry too! I want in the CME Dept because I think im too old to be a med rep. I'm very used to field work because I work in Sales in a 5 star hotel. I'm also handling the Pharma accounts and grabe talaga incentives nila!

Grabe sa Unilab. The people I usually deal with are 30+ years in that company and they never thought of transferring ever since.
Like in Therapharma and Pediatrica Incentive tour was at Paris and convertible pa to cash if you cant join. Then sa Innovitelle, South Africa naman sila this year!

Kaso wala atang opening dun ngayon kasi nagbawas pa nga sila ng mga tao kasi nag merge yung 2 subsidiary so may mga natanggal due to redundancy or inoffer ng early retirement.

I plan to leave the hospitality industry once I reach my 3rd year in Sept. Since I handle pharma accounts, tanong tanong na rin sa mga secretary kung may opening while doing sales call papa refer ako. hehe! Advantage din for me because I have a lot of contacts na doctors because i'm also handling medical conventions in the hotel im currently working at.

Minsan nakakaawa nga lang mga medrep super antay sa labas ng office ng mga doctor. Ako kasi since I handle medical conventions, nagsasales call din ako sa hospital ka meet ko sila doc.  So nakakasabay ko sila mag sales call pero ako kasi since hotel, derederecho lang ako sa office nila doc kasi ka close ko na sila. Tapos feeling ko ang sama ng tingin ng mga reps sakin kasi sila kanina pa nagaantay tapos ako walang pila! Pero gusto ko pa rin mag pharma kasi mas maganda ang incentives compared to a hotel.

@sexy_oohlala- you are right sis! my friend works at unilab grabe nagulat ako nag tour sila  Paris at lately kakabili lang niya ulit ng camaro car. And to think wala siyang med rep experience when she applied in Unilab pero ilang years na rin siya ...yun nga lang tagal niya na assign sa BAtaan so kapag medrep pala talaga willing ka ma assign ng ilang mos o years sa province... ang hirap pala mag medrep lalo na pag may family na. gustong gusto ko pa naman sana i try.

^oo, grabe sa unilab, ang ganda ng benefits! I started late na rin kasi sa pharma industry, sayang. Kung medyo maaga pa and I learned their benefits, nagapply sana ko sa kanila. May age limit kasi sila before, di ko lang alam if until now ganun pa din.

nakakabuhay naman ng loob to sis! Actually i graduated almost 2 years ago pero nag small business kasi ako after tapos nagwork din ako sa f&b company. Im a tourism grad pala. would like to have a career shift right now kasi ang baba ng salary sa f&b. So basically i will be treated like a fresh grad pag nag career shift ako since I dont have an experience in that field. I suddenly become attracted to being a med rep kasi my friend told me that her close friend works as a MR for a multinational company and earning 60k a month! syempre lumaki naman tenga ko non, it is like earning as if working abroad! :p

Heya! Meron ba sa inyo mga taga Mead Johnson dito? I passed all three interviews last March pa kaya lang it was a week before my graduation pa  Akala ko maka trabaho agad ako after grad kaya lang sabi nung girl from HR na tawagan agad ako sa next vacancy nila kase meron nang initial batch na contact for training before I even had my first interview with them  Does this spell failure or does HR really keep their word? Sabi kasi pasado naman daw ako sa lahat ng interview yun nga lang i'll just wait for their call to hire me. But its been more than two months na since my last interview and feedback

Aabot pa ba yang tawag nila or hindi na? I really wanna work for MJN eh. Can I ask for your opinions mga sis? Mga kelan pa kaya next vacancy nila? haaay. Ang hirap naman kasi pumasok sa ibang companies, and MJN is the only company so far na pasado ako sa lahat ng interviews. Sayang naman nabitin pa

They use Ipad din in getting the signatures of MD's, Good Luck. Work is very tiring but rewarding as well when you are reaching your Quota.Some  Unilab reps  went to Europe this year because they hit their quota.
