Guys, needs your POVs

I met a guy and we've been dating for a month now. We get along very well, we are aware that we both like each other a lo, everything is great except for the age difference. I'm 28 and he's 21 (he's Dutch) I asked him if he's aware that I'm 7 years senior and he said its not a big deal for him. Hindi ko maramdaman ang age gap namin kasi hé thinks so mature. Sobrang click ang personality namin and i can feel that he's a good person and really treats me well. Wala pang lalaking of my age or older na nag-trato sakin gaya ng pagtrato nya sakin ngayon.

My problem is i get so insecure kapag may mga girls na post sa wall nya sa facebook na mga ka-age nya, minsan younger pa! He assured me that I have nothing to worry about kasi gustong gusto nya ako. Pero kahit pa in-assure nya ako, di ko pa rin maiwasan na hindi ma-insecure o matakot that one day he'll find someone younger at iwan na lang ako. Now hindi ko alam kung dapat ba bigyan ko sya ng chance na patunayan ang sarili nya o putulin ko na habang maaga pa?

i'm starting to fall for him kaya mas natatakot ako ngayon.

I have also a boyfriend who is 7years younger to me he is not a Filipino too, one time i brought up this issue to him but he only says that from the start i already knew your age but it never bothers to me and its not a big deal if it is you shouldn't be my girlfriend in the first place. same thing he told me sis, he knew from the beginning that I am already 28 but it didnt bother him at all. He said as long as we understand each other, he doesn't care if I'm older than him. Hindi ko rin maramdaman ang age gap namin pag magkasama kasi kasi click tlaga ang personalities namin. One day he said Ï'm happy that I make you happy and feel young! hmmm, sweet pero parang may konting kurot haha!

ang dilemma ko eh syempre di ko maiwasan na maging insecure minsan lalo na pag may umaaligid sa kanya na girls tapos mga ka-age nya pa although paulit ulit nya akong ina-assure na wala akong dapat ipag-alala, eh naloloka pa rin ako!

Me also, i had a relationship that the guy is much younger than me... and for him its not an issue... it seems that we're in the same level... so, enjoy it girl...

I did several years ago. E kasi naman, sobra kaming magkasundo. Although kung ako masusunod, ayoko ng younger person, pero ayun, hindi rin naman ma control lalo na't malakas ang connection ninyong dalawa.

ive dated men my age, older than me and younger than me.

it doesnt really affect the relationship. what matters is if you share the same values and the same outlook in life ; same goals etc.

i was working my a** off working 9 hours a day...my ex would wake up at like 3pm...magp-ps3...tapos magyayaya ng lakad...tapos walang pera yan ah...umaasa yan sa allowance...oh did i mention na he's 27 still studying at university jobless? pathetic.

Hi sis, I just want to give you my input on this one since ako ang younger sa relationship namin. He's 12 years older than I am.

Actually I've met a lot of guys my age, but none of them seems to be able to match up with my personality. I love talking about grown up stuffs, life itself, plans, goals, etc. Those are pretty boring stuffs to people within my age bracket. Diba sabi mo he's so mature and hindi mo naffeel age difference nyo, that is because magkalevel kayo ng intellect. And being able to have a great conversation with someone because you understand each other's perspective doesn't match up to those younger, good-looking guys out there, in your case, younger girls naman. He gets insecure a lot kapag maraming nagppost sa FB ko na better looking guys, younger, but I must say hindi ko sya ipagpapapalit just because of those shallow qualities. The assurance that this guy gives you hopefully would be enough for you to feel his true feelings sayo. Ano naman mapapala nya if he goes out with an older girl diba when he has the choice to go out with youngers ones? Well, as you see ikaw pinili nya because he sees something in you na wala dun sa kanila.

I don't care about my guy's age, it doesn't matter. I love him, and everything about his personality. Kasi in the long run, those physical qualities wouldn't matter at all. But a good conversation does

4 years ang age gap namin (im the senior) and age was never an issue to us.i think both of us handled the "topaks" of each other very well...we are now going to our 7th year together and soon forever.

 :Dshox akala ko nag iisa lang ako sa ganitong dilema. may nagugustuhan akong guy and he is only 21 compared to my age of 28. medyo hirap ako mag isip kasi super match sa quality nya yung gusto ko sa guy pati mag isip matured din. ang gusto ko talaga mas matanda sa akin. di pala imposibleng mafall ka sa mas younger sayo.
ang dilemma ko is yung intriga sa paligid especially sa kamag anak, mga kaibigan at magulang. naman, everytime kinukwento ko sa mga pinsan ko yung qualities nya nababara ako agad na mas bata pa sa kanila yung guy kaya ngayon may araw na di ko sya pinapansin may araw naman na pinapansin ko sya pag namimiss ko sya makita. i am trying to control my feelings, argh! ang hirap pala..

I personally prefer guys who are much older than I am ( ), but I'd choose great chemistry/true love over age anytime.

perfect timing! Actually I'm in the same situation too at the moment. We're not really couple yet though but yes the feelings are there. At first I was like errrr younger? I was rather hesitant on the issue since I've always preferred dating older men but lo and behold...haha  It is true that age is just a number because surprisingly so in his case he seems to act more maturely than the other guys I've dated or much more those that I have been in a relationship with.

right now im crushing someone who's younger than me (5 yrs ang age gap)..  tama ang mga ibang sisses dito that age is just a number what matters is yung maturity..
minsan nga kahit ang tanda mo na pero yung maturity mo is like wayyy lower than your age.

Boyfriend ko mas bata sakin.. 19 lang sya tapos ako 21.. 2years na kami pero kahit kelan hindi pa kami nagaway.. keber lang sis kahit may mga babae na paligid ligid sa kanya mas gusto naman ata nya matured kesa sa kanya mag isip eh! keri lang yan!
