Usual US Port of Entry Questions - Tourist

i think delta kasi is a us company and they have those kiosks in the airport for express check-in. i tried it and, yes, it knows if you paid using a credit card. i think it's only important for checking-in.

don't be too nervous. just look like a tourist because you are one. nothing to be afraid of. =)

Sos yong kaba kulang si coz nag 6 months ako and i went back 8 months pa lang out of their country.  pero totoo ang sabi mo tourist naman talaga..like i said natatakot lang sa mga suggestions and comments sa ibang tao dito..kasi di maiwasan may tao mag comment and maymananakot on how hard it is to get in or ma 2nd interview or ma deport kagaya ni who who and who..nakakaloka na nga i think i may be one of the few people nanagplaplan to have a vacation na nastress out na lol

I've worked for KE until a few years ago (and still keep in touch with my colleagues, even had a Christmas get together a week ago ) but this is the first time I've heard about IOs in the US checking the cc info. If ever, random, I guess. Or maybe it's because DL is an american carrier, like honeyblue suggested? But FYI, KE and DL are skyteam partners. Anyway, in case I am not updated, better not get yourself too worked up about it if you do not have anything to hide. Simple as that.

Better not pero naprapraning na ako..pero thanks to sa mga sis and sa tulong nyo na bawasan talaga and uli namang nagkaroon ako nang confidence to face it..di naman talaga maiwasan ko yong POE so come what may pero i dont think naman mukha akong terrorist.  siguro sa 6 months stay lang ako nakakabahan...

sis irische i'm sure you'll be fine balitaan mo kami dito how it went ha. although next year pa naman yun. hindi ka naman nag-overstay eh. and talagang nag-bakasyon grande ka and you were allowed naman to stay for 6 months, so wala ka naman na-break na rule dun.

sis for sure naman babalitaan ko kayo besides hindi ako mawawala siguro sa paglipad ko lang lol so you are still going to see me posting and being paranoid sensya na.  sa totoo nagsosoul search kasi lol nahanap naman thank god pero swerte lang talaga na may mga kaibigan who put up with me namatagal2x since mga 2 months rin ako nagstay in each one lol kapal mukha talaga pero saya naman.  ikaw sis? when kababalik?

Balitaan ko rin kayo guys, kinakabahan ako hahaha some passengers from the Airport (I work there) complains about how rude and powerhungry some of the people are at the US port of entries.

All they can advise is stay as calm as possible even tho your connecting flights' two minutes away because the more you panic, sometimes the more na napagtritripan meron pang isang girl sinabihan ng

"BOO HOO! Not  my problem is it!?!?"

etc etc.  but she was travelling alone and given na  australian pa sya.  wala sa discrimination ng bansang pinaggalingan mo, basta malas-malasan nalang kung kanino ka matapat. 

Tas meron isang nagsusuka na sa pila di parin hinanapan ng tulong, they took it as a sign of panicking and panicky/nervous tourists are taken to be more suspicious. nakakagago rin ano =\

was my POE. Kinakabahan din ako though 2nd time ko na pumunta sa US. The last time was in vegas as my POE. Nakakaparanoid [textspeak!]
mga blogs sa internet regarding detroit. I noticed they are really strict. While waiting our turn for the IO, may pinay dun fiancee visa, it took her 30 minutes na quinestion about her love for her fiancee na amerikano. Maririnig mo [textspeak!] mga questions nila. So when its
my turn na, the IO was ok. He asked me my job and how long do i intend to stay. But yun nga lang kapag connecting flight ka from detroit, for sure madedelay kayo kase super
haba ng pila. And konti lang ang IO. It took us 1 hour in line
before our turn.

Sis when was the last time you went to the US? and how long did you stay?  Mas okay a yong POE sa Vegas?  Kasi yon ang entry ko this coming May.  Anong mga questions sayo sis?  Sa observation mo mahigbit ba ngayon ang mga POE?

I just arrived last Dec 11 and there were no questions basta you look decent.  The IO just asked me kung ano work ko and purpose of the trip.  POE is LA.

Tapos kaya yata binubulatlat kasi kwento nya minsan sa akin they asked a woman what's the purpose of trip and then she asnwered vacation. But when they opened here luggage may wedding dress.

Oo, pinipiga ko nga yun minsan kaya lang minsan kung anong tanong yun lang sagot niya. He's been here last year kasi may dineport sila. Nakakatawa nga kasi ganun job niya pero nung nagpunta siya dito gustong-gusto niya.

Careful din ako magkuwento sa kanya minsan. Syempre, officer pa rin siya at yun ang job niya. Kahit ako hindi niya ispespare. Ang trabaho... Trabaho. Tho minsan gusto ko siyang biruin na help me naman get a visa or... sa poe ko at detroit ako or nagkaproblem ako pwede ka bang tawagan. hehe...

yeah, kasi sinabi niya mismo... ihahandcuffs nya ko pero not in a good way. tinawanan ko lang. e takot kaya ako so as much possible legal talaga lahat.
