Schools in Antipolo

Sad to hear you had bad experience with them. I'm not sure why they did that but based on my observation, last school year lang biglang dumami yung students nila from 120 to 170. Pinakamarami nila yung Pre-K levels (normally, eto yung parang salaan stage nila). 2 sections lang yung SK nila (which I think are their old students lang talaga). If JK or SK na dapat yung kid mo, yan siguro yung possibility kung bakit hindi nila naaccept. Just my cent.

How much yung tuition sa Marcelli? Anong level na ng kid mo? Any other schools you have inquired? Nagbabasa-basa na rin kasi ako ng reviews from other schools in preparation for her Grade School.

No worries. My kid was assessed under with a JK level, and I think that's where the problem started. They said that they had limited slots for mainstreaming in those classes, but it's fine. At least I was able to go for another school.

I can't remember the exact amount, but it was 50K roughly, inclusive of tuition fees, misc fees, books, notebooks, and PE uniform. And since I paid the reservation fee early, my son gets to attend their summer classes for free. also, for early birds, they offer discounts on their tuition fees, as follows:

15% - cash payments
10% - semi annual payments
5% - quarterly payments

For cash payments,  it'll save you around 4k if you go for that option.

Still new to this forum but already I have learned a lot by backreading some of the posts.

Regarding Antipolo schools, we have done a few research and oculars to some of the schools near our area (along Sitio Parugan) because our eldest will be going to school this June (preschool), and here is what I already know:

Georgia Academy
 - Pros: Facilities are quite good, and will be improved more due to them moving to a bigger location in the future. The director was very accommodating and was able to answer all our queries. Preschool class population is around 1:15. Classroom setup is very appropriate for preschoolers (small chairs and tables, play area and comfort room inside the rooms).
 - Cons: TF is quite steep at around P40,900 annual, and this does not include books and uniform

Holy Spirit Integrated School
 - Pros: My son actually attended their Summer Fun program last year, and based on that we experienced their teaching technique first hand for one week. The teachers are very hands-on and patient with handling the toddlers. The facilities are somewhat dated, but they are in the process of constructing an add-on building adjacent to the old building. TF is affordable at P19,195 annual, but again does not include books and uniform. Student to teacher ration is 1:15 (or higher depending on their enrollments)
 - Cons: Although the addition of the new building is a welcome sight, I am still concerned with safety issues since, even if the area is blocked and cordoned off, there is always a small possibility of injuries or accidents stemming from any area with construction ongoing

Marcelli School Antipolo
 - Pros: Teacher Joanna was very accommodating, and was able to alleviate many of our questions regarding the school and their curriculum. The school is quite old, but it is very spacious and ideal for kids to play outside activities. The classroom is halved between their "play" and "study/activity" areas. Student to teacher ratio is around 1:15
 - Cons: this school so far is the most expensive of the lot at a whopping P50,845 annual, but already includes books and a set of PE uniform. They are currently installing airconditioning units on each classrooms, which explains the sudden increase from P47,000 annual

Daughters of St. Dominic
 - Pros: The lessons are taught by nuns, which naturally will included values education and religion (which for me is a plus since I was schooled exclusively from catholic schools). The student to teacher ration is maxed at 1:15. TF is at P20,000 (still without books and uniform yet)
 - Cons: The facility is "kind" of small, and we were unable to tour the classrooms because they were in the process of updating and cleaning the areas

Hi! I just want to ask if there is any feedback about ECA Antipolo? My son studied in ALLS (Antipolo Lady of Lourdes School) in Kinder 1. I was thinking if I will transfer him to ECA since the tuition fee is just 22k + books while in ALLS tuition fee is 30k + books. That's 8k difference.

I was just worried because there are bad reviews in ECA for the past years. How about now? Is there any good review about it?

ALLS is a good school. After K1, my son can read sight words already. I am just cosidering ECA because of lower TF and by next year, I will enroll my youngest in Nursery. So TF will be multiplied by two already. Pls help.

i enrolled my kid since last year at marcelli and he had fun learning and always excited to go to school every day. he knows how to read little by little and he knows how to count na which is nakakatuwa talaga. school has spacious area and facilities are fine naman. books, notebooks, pe uniform are included in mf. activities have themes and we as their parents are sometimes required to join, bonding na din. my kid has learned a lot last school year. looking forward for this coming school year.

when it comes to a child with special needs, they handle it well because i notice the good relation between the students and their teachers. mababait sila.

 Ask ko lang ano yung school in antipolo ang pwede magaccept ng nursery student mid school year? yung progressive din sana na school.

 Medyo hindi kasi maganda ang experience ng baby namin sa current school nya. Hindi na din ganun ka ganda ang school nya ngayon kagaya ng dati. Nagiisip kami na ilipat na sya and naghahanap kami ng ibang school sa antipolo na pwede paglipatan in case we really decide to leave the school.

Konti lang ata ang progressive schools sa antipolo. But I would have to say kclc nag a accept as long as may slot pa.

About PCIS (Pencils and Crayons Int.Sch), my son attended nursery in this school. Then konti lang sila kaya isinama sila sa k1...7 students lang sila.1 teacher.1 teaching assistant.ok naman ang facilities nila.ang problema lang sa konti ng students indi pa rin nababantayan nang maayos kasi may incident ng pangangalmot ng isang girl sa kaklase nyang girl din. Then there were many times na may injuries ang anak ko nagkakabukol sa ulo.then kapag ask mo sila ano nangyari ay paiba-iba ang kwento. Dahil that time malikot ang anak ko at di pa nakakasalita kaya di ko naman matanong ang anak ko anong nangyari..pero in fairness sa teaching assistant nila ay mabait at mahaba ang pasensya.yun nga lang siguro dahil lahat ng students malilikot lalo na yun anak ko ay talagang nahirapan magbantay..ang TF nila 2yrs ago ay 30k for nursery  5k downpayment then monthly ang hulog.mura lang ang books at uniform yun nga lang every nagpapalit sila.tapos aabot ng august bago maging available ang uniforms.hanggng grade3 lang sila that time.ewan ko lang ngayon.nagustuhan ko ang PCIS nuon dahil may playground.maganda ang waiting area.kubo na may electric fan at tv.at nay tindahan.kaya masarap magtambay.then malapit lang din ang palengke kaya while waiting e pede ka umuwi, mamili o magwindow shopping sa Robinsons place at victory.

Do you have any feedback about Antipolo Immaculate Conception School? I am scouting for a new school for my daughter for school year 2017-2018. She is an incoming Grade 4 student. I am looking fo a bigger school that is not very pricey. 

I am also planning to visit MISA, OLOPS and St. Clare. My daughter wants to study in a science school but i'm not very sure if they have this kind in Graders. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated. TIA

My son is enrolled in Marcelli. They handle kids well. In a span of one school year, my son is able to read well, do simple math and he also learned science. They have a small teacher:student ratio, which is probably the reason why the tuition fee and misc fees are quite hefty.

Hi Sissy! Im planning to transfer my daughter to different school for the next school year. She's up coming Grade 4. Any feedback po sa georgia academy and st. john worth montessori. And anybody knows how much the tuition fee for grade 4 sa La Salle and may grade school po b sa tpat ng budgetlane la salle? Im not satisfied po kc sa pencils and crayons.

Have you inquired in KCLC? My child is enrolled there. Junior Kinder this coming School Year. (Levels are: Toddlers, Nursery, Pre-Kinder, Junior Kinder and Senior Kinder). Di ko lang sure how they accept students pag nasa Prep na. But if you're considering enrolling her for a summer class, try them too.

Pre-K nila, my child was able to read all their sight words, 3 to 4 letter-words (e.g. LAMP, BUMP, etc.). Kahit words like FROZEN kaya na basahin. KCLC focuses on Reading and Math. They promote good partnership with parents. Before the closing of the school year, my child was able to do math like addition, subtraction and fraction. They are not only into academics, they teach and assess their students based on motor skills, kid's strengths and weaknesses, being a better person, how to be responsible, letting them explore.. Dami ko nagustuhan sa school na yun. Kasama na dun yung hindi sila magastos. Tuition fee might be a bit expensive, but I'm sure you get what you paid for. It's definitely worth it. Kaya pati parents very active and always participates in school activities. Yung tuition nila, yun na yun. Kung may bayaran man during the school year, very minimal unlike other schools na kung ano-ano hinihingi.

Taking the Sumulong Highway, the distance is around 11km and might take you 20-30 minutes to get there on a light to medium traffic. We've inquired last Saturday, for pre-Kinder the rate is 49K++ (47K++ for one-time payment) including the misc fees but the uniforms and fee for the worksheets are paid separately. Hope this helps
