Wow it's been 5 years na pala since I created this thread. My son is now in San Beda and my 2nd son will study in Georgia International Academy for nursery.

My eldest tried GIA (nursery and Kinder) and it's good, he was able to read when he was 4-5 yrs old and was able to pass San Beda exam for grade 1 (turning 6 June) so I think this is a nice shcool. He needs to be a reader to pass the exam. So naka libre ako ng 1 year na tuition instead na sa susunod pa sana sya mag grade 1.

Hi Sis! My eldest is enrolled in La Salle Antipolo, grade 2 na siya this school year, they will accept kinder student basta 5yrs old na by June, and should pass the entrance exam

Hi mommies! Nagpaplano na kami ni hubby na magtransfer to Rizal by next year, or maybe this year the earliest. The location to be specific is at Marwood Angono Rizal. Hindi pa ako totally familiar sa Rizal.

And one thing we're considering din is kung san school namin ipapasok si baby. She's turning two this year and might go to school by next school year. Baka may marecommend kayong school near that location. Thanks in advance mga sis!

i'm planning to have my son take their exam for grade 1. hopefully he passed para dun na siya next school year. he's 5 yrs. old now so tamang tama lang siyang 6 by june next year.
i've read a lot about the academics, the extra curricular activities and the values formation. i iknow these are very essential sa mga formative years ng mga bata.

i just want to ask if you or other parents out there can give me an idea or a ball park figure ng tuition sa basic education and if they accept different modes of parment like monthly, quarterly, etc.

i'm really keen on sending my son here since i know the quality of the education they offered.

You can try at Pencils and Crayons Integrated School. My daughter is also 2.5 years old and she's currently enrolled here sa Nursery level. It's a progressive school and nice facilities, may ac ang rooms and the tuition fee is not that expensive compared with other schools that offer toddler classes. Ang bait pa ng directress, very accomodating. Visit their facebook page.

I do not recommend KCLC for toddlers as young as 2-2.5 years. Madumi yung rooms, though may rubbermats ang floor pero dirty ang facilities, not advisable for toddlers who still explore a lot by putting things or their hands in their mouths. Even yung structure ng school not good for little ones. May matarik na stairs going to the indoor play area. May naaksidente na daw dun before, nahulog una ulo. I went there personally with my daughter and nagsit-in pa nga sya sa toddler class, pero hindi ko talaga nagustuhan. Isinasama pa nila yung big kids sa mga toddlers, which is not good also kasi malilikot na masyado yung big kids, ang tendency tuloy is nabu-bully ang toddlers specially pag nasa play area like sa slides and sa swing.

I'm very happy to know that AA shortened the schedule of 1st graders by 2 hours. Hopefully my daughter gets in for next school year.

Hi ladies, passed by this sub-forum lang for research for a possible pre-school/playschool for my son and chanced on this thread.

Vouching for AA as a great school for girls as I came from there (biased haha). Aside from teaching us to be independent and the top-notch academics, I realized after I left that they really did instill in us their core values after all. I remember being so shocked coming into college at all the rampant and casual cheating kasi back in grade/high school, we wouldn't dream of even LOOKING as if we were peeping at someone else's paper even when there was no proctor around. I'd cringe at my blockmates littering or being too rowdy in class kasi I was so not used to that.
