We are choosing between KCLC and Marcelli for our 3 year old. While I liked my conversation with Teacher Lala given her passion for what she does, Marcelli has a wider space for the kids, as well as a program reaching the grade school. I have yet to visit the Montessori Integrated School. Any recommendation?

I used to enrol my child in KCLC. Good thing with KCLC is that your child learns to read at an early age. Advanced ang lessons at small ang population kaya mas kayang matutukan ng teacher ang student. Ang PTC nila ay one on one. Pagdating naman sa bata, kung hindi masyado maka catch up ay nag allot sila ng time for makeup class.  Maraming activities ang school.

Ang concern lang ay maliit ang school kaya pag may program medyo siksikan lalo na pag nagkakasabay sabay ang mga activities. Tuition fee last year was  roughly 40-48k. Uniforms not included.  Not sure lang bakit maraming teachers ang nag alisan though okay naman ang mga teachers sa kids.

HI sis! ISYC is in Marikina right? Okay naman dun sis. I have friends na dun nagaral kids. Tutok talaga sa students and less than 10 students per class lang. (accdg sa friend ko). Around 70-90k ang tuition last time I asked her.

^^My daughter is currently a Junior Nursery in ISYC. I have nothing but praises for the school because of how dedicated they are in teaching the kids. School ratio is 2 teachers to 10 kids. From the school owners to the teachers to the staff like the yayas and the guards, lahat polite, they know your child and maasikaso sila. Tuition is 80k inclusive of uniforms, school materials and field trip.

Ask ko lang mga sis, kasi iniisip ko kung start ko na mag school ang anak kasi sa may 18 eh 3 yrs old n sya. Di pa marunong mag salita ng husto at di pa masyadong nakakaintindi. Ang worry ko eh baka mahirapan ang mga teachers nya kasi nasa stage pa sya ng kalikutan. Palagay nyo ba sis pede n sya i-enroll? Ano experience nyo nga child nyo? Sabi ng husband ko eh pag ka 4 nlng daw sya pag start. Palagay nyo po?  Thanks po....

sis @anna82...same tayo ng dilemma before. in my case, i enrolled my son as junior nursery at 3 yrold. kasi walang kalaro sa bahay, laging kami ni husband lang nakikita, so socialization lang with other adults and kids his age ang aim ko. i enrolled him in a traditional school setup but it seemed he was bored kasi he knew the basics already except sa writing. mahirap nung una kasi ayaw humiwalay sa akin. nandun lang ako sa labas ng classroom for 2 hours. pero unti-unti, nasanay na din sya. i guess choose the school carefully. i have met parents na parang na-trauma yung bata kasi nga ang current thinking ngayon kung ayaw paiwan, hindi pwde they give in to the kids and papasukin ang parent. so may kids halos isang oras umiiyak lang sa loob ng classroom.

my take is if your child has a good number of adults and kids that she/he can interact with, then you could probably wait until mas ready na. ikaw muna magturo ng basics then pag mas ready na baby mo, hindi mahirapan mag-adapt sa school. hope it helps...

@Anna82 same pla tayo ng bday ng anak. You will be the best person to assess your kid. Pinasok din nmin sya last year when he turned 3yrs old sa MISA as toddler kasi hindi masydo marami assignment and puro learn and play lang nman sya dpat. We had him take the school summer class to prepare him sa incoming school year then nung mukhang ok nman sya we enrolled him and ang ginawa ko monthly lang sya pra incase mag backout di masakit sa bulsa hehe... And di namn mawawala yung tantrums and challenges dahil bata pa namn sya but andyan ka nman to guide him along the way. Now malapit na sya mag moving up and matatapos na din sya ng 1st yr nya in school and were so proud of him I hope this helps.

Hi mommies! Im looking for a school for my 4 yrs old daughter. Actually I enrolled her last year sa ECA. and unfortunately hindi ko nagustuhan ang teaching method nila. 7 books sila ang dami for nursery meron na computer book din. Kahit hindi nauunawaan ng lahat ng bata ang topic skip na sila sa next.

Traditional pala sis. My daughter is kinda late bloomer pa. Bulol pa. San kaya mommies maganda school? Hope you can help me. TIA.

^if it's not to far from your place and you don't mind na walang aircon ang rooms, i'll suggest The Little Farm House. KCLC is also good, from what i've heard, yun lang preschool lang sya so lipat na pag grade school. Georgia Academy has nice facilities (nung time ng anak ko dun) din for preschool kids, nice din ang experience ko with their teachers. all three have a sort of progressive type of teaching so your son would find it more enjoyable.
