Schools in Antipolo

Hello, GT mommies.

I have been searching for the contact number of HedCen/Little Farm House in Antipolo but I can’t seem to find it. I don’t think they have a website either. Help please.

Also, could you please recommend a school that teaches writing this summer? This is for my 6 year old son who really needs to practice writing. Thanks!

We enrolled our eldest son sa OLPS, nursery.  He underwent 3 sets of interviews. Guidance, Adviser and I forgot the 3rd one.  Luckily, he passed naman (I just don't know baka lahat naman pumapasa). Anyway - ang sabi nila is tini test lang daw nila ang mga incoming nursery students if nakaka recognize na ng colors, alphabets and numbers.

All rooms are air-conditioned.  According to the adviser, 15 students lang naman daw sila per class (that I am yet to find out). They are also using projectors na, instead of blackboards.  My son said he likes the school kaya dun na namin sya in-enroll.

Nag-inquire din kami sa Antipolo Lourdes School kaya lang rooms are not air-conditioned.  Yung sa Holy Spirit Integrated School, parang ok naman din kaso medyo malayo sa highway and medyo maliit ng konti ang school.

I have been visiting this thread since last year. There are so many good schools in Antipolo and honestly, nalilito na ako kung saan ko ipapasok ang mga anak ko. I have 2 daughters and both are studying in KCLC (Kindergarten Camp Learning Center). My eldest is incoming Kinder and my 2nd daughter is incoming Nursery 1. I love their school and I have no plans to transfer them until they graduate from Prep. Hanggang prep lang kasi sa KCLC.

As early as now, I am looking at options for big school for my girls. I have brought it down to 2 choices: OLPS and MISA. Any feedbacks on these schools? Which one is better?

One of our sisses here has good things to say about OLPS. My only apprehension is that I heard that there are around 50 students per class. Some moms prefer a smaller number like 25-35 para daw mas tutok sa mga bata. Can anyone give feedback on the quality of education in this school?

How about MISA? Ok din daw dito but facilities are not as good as OLPS's.

Haaay... Nakakalito na. I plan to visit both schools this schoolyear. But before I do, I'd appreciate some inputs.

Hope you found the best school for your children.  I guess we as parents should consider the learning method of our kids.  I needed to move my son from a traditional school to a Montessori school because after a Psychometrician and an Occupational therapist assessed him, both said that he is just bored in school that is why he is behaving the way he did when he was in the first grade.  Nabobore sa kaka-listen lang at write, wala masyadong actitivies... I hope we found the right school for him...

Hi. Any idea about Sun Hwa International Academy? My 5 year old is enrolled there as kinder but I am not much too impressed kasi traditional sila so Im planning to transfer him next year in a progressive school. Ask ko lang how much tuition sa MISA at airconditioned ho ba rooms? Which is better MISA or La Salle? Thanks much for your replies....

Is there anyone here whose daughter goes to PAREF Rosehill? I've ruled out this school before because it's farther than Assumption Antipolo but now I'm drawn to it again because of its mentorship program and other good feedback that I've heard. I hope someone can share their feedback on this school din. Tuition-wise, I know it's a bit more expensive than Assumption Antipolo but if it's better it in terms of curriculum and program, I'd be more inclined to send my daughter here.

Shapolites - Tuition fee for elementary is around 42k excluding activity fees like Field trips, Camping, etc. Hindi airconditioned ang mga classrooms sis. Can't comment about La Salle pero a lot of my neighbor's kids study there kahit na medyo malayo.

Thanks much for your reply sis... Puntahan na rin namin ang La Salle may prep na rin naman daw dun para di na pa transfer transfer anak ko. Sa Sun Hwa kasi dati maayos naman facilities nila pero ngayon parang di na maintained although interested kami dun because of different languages na ituturo nila kaya lang tutorial basis siya at yung english di gaano maganda unlike sa school dati ng anak ko na montessori based. Sayang lang kasi malapit lang to sa amin, sa Police station at Hall of Justice, madali mahanap. For the info lang po ng iba re: sun hwa international academy.thanks again.

i live in brgy. mayamot in lower antipolo, my son goes to ingenium preschool in panorama, along sumulong hi-way. tuition fee is 74k annually  while my daughter goes to smartkids, kingsville, antipolo, tuition fee is 32k annually. both schools are great.

@sis shapolites...ok naman sis ang teaching sa sun hwa? magkano range ng tuition fee? before, we considered that school kasi may chinese, gusto ko sana matuto anak ko nun kaso traditional ata teaching method. we ended up looking for a progressive type of school kasi the preschool where my son was initially enrolled in suggested it.

we're currently enrolled in georgia international academy. so far, ok naman dun. nakaka-culture shock lang for us ni husband kasi parang walang estudyante. we both came kasi from a traditional big school kaya parang nakakatakot baka magsara bigla kung ganun na konti lang students. pag may school happenings nga parang ang konti namin, pero the teachers and the school head are nice and approachable naman. the facilities ok din since hindi pa kalumaan. sana lang i-open na ang library for the kids.

Sis babyseth... how much is the tuition fee sa la salle for kinder at kailangan ba kasama ang parents para mag enroll s bata kasi sa nagwo work ako sa abroad. Pumunta kasi [textspeak!] sister ko at ang sabi dapat daw ang magulang ang mag enroll sa bata at 5 y/o lang ang tinatangap nla for kinder that time 4 y/o palang [textspeak!] anak ko. TIA

The tuition in la salle is according to income of parents, they have categories.  Category A is 64k and less 10k for Category B excluding the books.

This could be a late reply to the post here but I would really recommend St. John's Wort Montessori School to everyone esp to parents. We are not even a year in this school and I have seen great changes with my son. He was able to come out of his shell and stopped being a shy boy. I have 4 kids here 1 in highschool, 1 grade 6 and 2 grade ones. Being a transferee wasn't a big deal for them to be able to be as competitive as the students in St. John's Wort. This is an equal opportunity to all the students who are really good. My 3 students are in the achiever's list and the teaching module is really clear. The students are even motivated and they implement a NO TO BULLYING policy. Alll the teachers are real educators no practitioners. When you approach them for some concerns they won't take a grudge on you. They take it for improvements so everybody will benefit. I really had regrets that I hadn't enrolled my 2 grade ones earlier in this school. But now I made the right decision. All thumbs up.
