Schools in Antipolo

Hi Moms! I would like to ask for suggestions on schools within cainta or schools that offer school service to Greenpark Cainta (across Robinson's Metro East). We'll be relocating there kase and I absolutely have no idea where I would put my kids to school. I have 2 sons (a toddler and an 8-year old kid)

Got suggestions that San Lorenzo, Morning Dew Montessori, San Benildo and Marist are good schools. Any comment?

Marist school kase doesn't offer preschool.

BTW, scared ako baka ang language of instructions sa mga schools mentioned e hindi english. My son is quite poor in Filipino

^hi sis, try KILA...sa village east lang sya. english ang mode of instruction but i think pag grade school may filipino subjects naman.

sis cocoysmom, konti lang mandarin lessons nila. since Kinder pa lang ang anak ko, ang alam pa lang nya counting 1-10 in Mandarin and some songs din. ewan ko lang pagdating ng grade 1 kung ano ang ituturo nila.
Sa food naman, healthy naman. They don't serve junk foods. meron silang food tasting on the days of enrollment para malaman ng mga parents and kids na rin kung ano ang iseserve nila.

@shesam12 - how old is your kid, mine kc is turning 6 on June 19 but according to San Beda grade 1 should be 6 yrs old by June 1. We will try the assessment exam pa rin kung makakapasa mas ok kung hindi baka mag kinder muna siya. Natatandaan mo pa ba kung anong assessment exam ng kinder?

sorry sis hindi ko na matandaan yung kwento sa akin ng daughter ko. hindi kase kasama ang parents sa assessment e. pinaghintay lang ang parents sa library. tapos after 1 wk yung result.
mahigpit nga sila sa age. my child is only 6 yrs old and turning 7 sa Sep 17 this yr. so talgang 6 pa lang sya pagpasok ng grade 1.

3 sections ang Kinder, yung 2 sections sa morning - 7:10-11:30AM then sa afternoon naman 11:40-4PM

mabilis naman na syang magbasa ngayon.. nung nasa playschool pa lang kase sya tinuruan na syang magbasa ng mga CVC words kaya siguro hindi na rin sya nahirapan sa San Beda.

tinuturo sa kanila ngayon? actually may long test sya this week.
sa English -  re digraph, following instructions and verb
Math - fraction, Philippine peso bill
Filipino - pang-uri, pandiwa

tapos every friday may binibigay sa kanila na Lessons for next week.

For those looking for an exclusive girls' school in Antipolo, I highly recommend Assumption Antipolo. They provide good spiritual and value formation and high academic standards in a beautiful, spacious campus. Tuition fee is about 80k for grade school and 100k for high school.

Mga sis... baka may ma-recommend naman kayo na progressive school dito sa Karangalan village manggahan pasig. my son is turning 4 1/2 this coming school year... budget ko lang is Php 30T, husband ko lang kasi ang nagwowork...I'm having a hard time kasi most school tuition fees are 40T pataas....

la salle antipolo is now accepting kinder. just call their office for info..  hope it helps

^yes sis, ka aaprove lang daw.  They are accepting 5 years old for kinder, but the kid must be 5 na or turning to 5 this coming june.

^Montessori Integrated School (MIS) has a SPED program sis, di nga lang masyado mura pero  as far as I know sila lang alam ko na school na may SPED dito sa upper antipolo. Not sure with HEDCEN pero mas mahal sila ata sa MIS.

Also, could you please recommend a school that teaches writing this summer? This is for my 6 year old son who really needs to practice writing. Thanks!

I have been visiting this thread since last year. There are so many good schools in Antipolo and honestly, nalilito na ako kung saan ko ipapasok ang mga anak ko. I have 2 daughters and both are studying in KCLC (Kindergarten Camp Learning Center). My eldest is incoming Kinder and my 2nd daughter is incoming Nursery 1. I love their school and I have no plans to transfer them until they graduate from Prep. Hanggang prep lang kasi sa KCLC.

As early as now, I am looking at options for big school for my girls. I have brought it down to 2 choices: OLPS and MISA. Any feedbacks on these schools? Which one is better?

One of our sisses here has good things to say about OLPS. My only apprehension is that I heard that there are around 50 students per class. Some moms prefer a smaller number like 25-35 para daw mas tutok sa mga bata. Can anyone give feedback on the quality of education in this school?

How about MISA? Ok din daw dito but facilities are not as good as OLPS's.

Haaay... Nakakalito na. I plan to visit both schools this schoolyear. But before I do, I'd appreciate some inputs.
