Schools in Antipolo

^not all chairs are creaking. hindi lang masyado maganda facilities ng Hedcen pero ang turo nila ang maganda talaga.

nagsisi ako na hindi ko nastart na dito pagaralin son ko kasi naka 2 school siya before Hedcen, sobrang wala siyang natutunan.
Pero when I enrolled him sa Hedcen, anlaki ng improvements in terms of behavior, reading, social skills as in lahat nag improve pati sa sports. member nadin siya ng football varsity.

I recommended this school sa pedia ng mga anak ko, she's also happy kasi from San Beda yung anak niya. Suko ang San Beda. Sabi Autistic daw anak niya. Pero when she was assessed sa Hedcen hindi naman daw autistic, medyo anti social lang and sabi nga ng Beda dapat daw sa Special School anak niya, pero Sabi sa Hedcen hindi na kailangan i special school since normal naman siya.
Ayun so happy siya kasi nawala pag ka anti social ng anak niya. and nagulat siya kasi nagbabasa na anak niya. level 1 palang (equivalent to nursery). she also wants to transfer her son na San Beda din nagaaral kaya lang ayaw ng bata kasi di daw maganda facilities ayaw daw niya ng may animals. tsaka may barkada na siya sa Beda. Kaso problem niya wala daw natututunan sa Beda according to her tsaka andami daw homeworks everyday kesa sa work load sa school.

What I like about Hedcen din is their teachers. Hindi basta basta teachers nila. Talagang magaling sila to handle children. And na didisiplina talaga nila.

If your looking for great facilities, more than the quality education, you can put your child to other schools. but if you want real good quality education then Hedcen is the choice.

BTW yung son ko grade 1 this coming school year sa Hedcen, annual payment of tuition is 63k. 80k siguro is for the higher levels.

I don't know if nagtaas ang Hedcen.
Kumuha ako ng list nila for grade 1 63k plus misc. Normal lang na pag elem mas mahal na diba?

hindi maiiwasan kasi everytime may nakakausap ako na topic about schools lagi silang may angal sa Beda. and lahat sila same ang reklamo. and i've heard worst comments pero i wont mention na. those comments are coming from parents whose children are enrolled in Beda.

Wala naba tiga antipolo dito? Wala bang feedback sa misa? Or other school bukod sa hedcen? Nagtry na kamo dun pero hindi ko talaga mafeel na dun ko ipapasok kids ko.

^ sis, my kids study at MIS, ok naman dun IMO. Maliit nga lang yung school pero they are currently constructing a new building. I posted their tuition fee rates sa last page. They also accept special children and mine-mainstream with the regular kids. I couldn't give a feedback sa pre school nila kasi my kids transferred there in their elementary years. Before sa elementary pinagsasama nila ang grade 1-3 (lower elem) and grade 4-6 (upper elem) in a section, so bale around six sections and in each section is comprised of around 8-9  students per grade level kaya mga 25 -27 kids per class lang. Pero starting this year they follow na yung kagaya sa mga tradtional school na magkakasama na 1 grade level per section, pero montessori approach pa rin. Sa highschool naman, they only have 1 section per year. madami sila around 50 students per batch , pero they have 2 classrooms and divide the whole batch into 2 classes kaya parang lumalabas 25 lang sila per class, but considered 1 section. ok naman skin yun kasi maliit pa rin ang student- teacher ratio.When I transferred my kids there from exclusive traditional schools, nakita yung improvement nila sa grades, kaya naisip ko mas gusto nila dun. @silverbarrow - thanks sis ha... At last my nagreply narin saken... Haha plan ko kase dun ipasok yung son and daughter ko.. Or kung may alam kapa na mas okay na school? Kase 2.6 mons palang yung son ko... Hindi ko alam kung san siya okay ipasok... Dapat assumpyion yung girl ko kaya lang naisip ko same school nalang para isang schoolbus lang

^ you are welcome sis,  ganyan din dilemma ko nung lumipat kami dito sa upper antipolo kaya i completely understand you  Marami schools dito  pero di ko alam kung ok kaya di ako maka feedback. Marami nagsabi na maganda din sa La Salle Antipolo pero sobra layo na kasi sakin yun kaya di na ako interested.

hi! share ko lang po experienc ko kahapon. just went to antipolo yesterday para mag-entrance exam yung 2 boys ko... 2nd year hs and grade 3.

first stop namin is OLPS. Malaki yung compound ng school kasi kasama nya yung church. my kids did well sa exam. 45mins para sa HS and almost 1 hr sa ELEM. 2 sets kasi ng exam sa elem, sa hs puro abstract reasoning lang.

I wasn't able to roam around the school. natapos kasi kami lunch time na. the gates are closed na sa kabilang building for the uniforms. eh dun yata [textspeak!] mga classrooms? not sure,e.

malaki pa po ba yung compound ng school? basketball court, a/c rooms, etc? di na ako naka-inquire kasi gutom na mga kidds ko. nagyaya na. e closed na rin offices kasi lunch break na nga.

but they liked the school kasi mukhang maganda ang facilities....

then punta naman kami sa Holy Spirit Integrated School, very near Maia Alta. As we entered, 3 steps from the gate, volleyball court agad. Hindi din ganun kaganda yung compound. Maliit lang and medyo masikip. Only 2 sections sila per grade and year level. Pero cheap lang tuition dun.

As for the exam, nahirapan mga kids ko. 20 items per subject, 100 items lahat. Passing lang sila. As per the personnel na nag-discuss sa akin, 75% daw ang passing nila sa regular school year. Kaya maliit population nila. Mataas daw standard nila. Pero i noticed na hindi ganun kaganda facilities. Ayaw nga ng 2 kids ko dun, kahit malapit lang kami dun.

Torn ako between these 2 schools. Any feedback sa HSIS? Maganda ba talaga turo dun, as they claim? Pls help me naman po. What should i choose na sch for my 2 kids? Kasi alam ko nahihirapan na yung 2 kids ko with the idea pa lang na new school sila. Nobody knows them, no friends. Kaya gusto ko sa school na magnda yung turo at environment.
